Pulling The Drag ropes out for the last time of a Bucyrus Erie 1260 Dragline
Very little of these machines are in operation around the world anymore removing overburden to expose Coal , this machine will be scrapped in the very near future
It broke records in its day for the amount of overburden it could remove and could tell a tale or too.........

Sad to see the old girl being shut down for ever mate. Good old "Bronny". She was the first of the larger walking draglines in the Blackwater/Emerald area, and was a good old girl to operate. I hope they put her step to good use and not make Chinese cars from her.
