I was a Senior in High School when I saw the Destiny's Child performance. I love Michelle. You're taught to keep it moving if you mess up or fall during a performance. She got back up and finished the performance like a pro. I never understood the hate she received over the years. Other artist have fallen on stage (worse than Michelle) but never stuck with them like it did her.

It doesn't have to be considered as a hate thing because if you're hating on someone, there's nothing really embarrassing about that. To me, 106 & Park is to the early-mid 2000’s what New York Undercover was in the early-mid 90’s. It captured the culture of the time and it can not really be replicated. I loved coming home from school, doing homework(if I hadn’t already finished it at school lol) and then having a snack while watching 106 &Park. It such a shame that greed and stupidity lead to the demise of the show. Rocsi and Terrace were pretty good but no hosts compare to Aj and Free❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think there is a viral video on UA-cam about that too. I think Big Tigger and Bow Wow were okay as a host, but none of them were like the original host. AJ & Free made 106 N Park. They just always hyped everybody up and made it more fun to watch.
Free and AJ were the highlight of my adolescence. When they left I stopped watching the show. The rest of the hosts were alright but as you can see, so much drama after Free and AJ left.

I was at day camp, and we were running laps when we heard our coach scream. I thought we were in trouble for not running fast enough. I turned around and homeboy was on his knees. Now I’m thinking he’s having a medical episode. So someone of us ran over hysterical like what’s wrong coach are you ok? He said mj died. My stupid ass said sorry your cat died ( at the time I had a cat named jordy after Michael Jordan). He was crying at this point called me stupid and that I didn’t know real music. It wasn’t until I got home that my dad told me what mj stood for.
I feel so bad for Keshia Chante. She is such a sweet heart and I had a small but lovely convo with her back when she released her Table Dancing song. She really has a humbling spirit. I think the producers intentionally did not inform her to not ask that question. I strongly believe they was hush hush and sat back while she answered it. I hate that they waited to apologize after that backlash. They knew what they was doing and she was genuinely sorry for that.
She didn’t say she wasn’t informed, she said “fair, I’m just asking what the fans wanna know.” Then proceeded to try to get an answer outta him. I’m not sayin she’s a bad person but she clearly didn’t care about his request.

You can tell then BET changed management. A lot of it was giving anti black in so many ways. I loved when Free and Aj was on air. Rocsi and Terrance was cool but they never had the same flavor. College Hill then was sooo good and actually made you interested in going to college. Just like the BET College road trips they use to do. Now all we get is Tyler Perry and these unwanted shows. They did bring back College Hill but again it doesn’t equate to what we had before. Everything is filled with influencers and Celebrities. Give regular people a chance again.

I use to skip school to be apart of the 106 & Park audience, I went 5+ times and always had a good time. Terrance and Rosci were the host and terrance was always so nice. Once, he got some lotion from my friend because his hands were ashy and when he did that, rosci looked at him like he was crazy. Good times.
