Why does the snare sound like that?
I also agree with the low volume cymbals being the middle between the regular and e-kit cymbals. The regular cymbals are too loud, the e kit cymbals are too quiet, but the low volume cymbals are just right.
Thanks for the video? How do you "tune" the snare drum with the LV RTOM head? I purchased it recently and the with the wires on it always sound like silly noise

The iPhone mic though, with the low volume cymbals sounds a lot more quiet compared to the audio and camera mics, and I can barely hear the bass drum.

I think having a low volume drum kit is probably a good idea if you're having some karen problems in your neighborhood.
Ok so with camera mic, both cymbals sound the same to me in my opinion.

I believe you miss the point. These allow you to practice dynamics without producing as much sound.
I understand dynamics, but now I’m not pissing iff my neighbor as much.
