Scary thought: If you told that woman that her family weren't traitors and Trent just made her think that, she'd laugh it off and justify it as "At least I'm on the winning side" That's how twisted up the Scourgers are and how Caleb could have been
Indoctrination is one hell of a thing. A human can push him/herself a far way, as long as they´re believing what they´re doing is justified. Especially when it´s all they know and have sacrificed great things for that ideal.
Towards the end of the clip, when Nott asks Caleb if he learned anything, he says that he did: that there was no way she could have done what she did without help from the outside, and the only people on the outside were from the Dynasty. In light of recent (ish) reveations, Essek has got some explaining to do...again.
Caleb gets so metal when he speaks in Zemnian. This was such a tense moment
It's so neat how Caleb's vocabulary gets bigger and his "ehhhs" and "umms" disappear when he's speaking his mother language. AHHHHH It's so cool!!!
My god Liam is such an amazing physical actor as well as voice. The way he holds his neck after getting stabbed really shows how immersed he gets.
And dropping the accent to show that Caleb is speaking in Zemnian
Yes. It was just. So fucking amazing.

I've watched this over and over and I'm so. Attracted. To Liam? Caleb? Who knows.
both?
Both. Caleb might be my favorite character of this bunch, but everyone is amazing.
Totally fair. I'm happily married with 2 kids but I wouldn't say "no" to some Liam-cuddles. Love that guy.
Both. For me, it’s both.
Deep moments for Caleb confronting his past and what he could have become, badass moment for Essek when he turned that chick into a humanoid paperclip

this is one of the best written scenes I've ever had the pleasure of watching and it wasn't even written
liam is an amazing storyteller
This entire Scene made the night for me!
just saying, you cut off a really creepy part where for like two minutes straight all Caleb was saying was "oh yes" in a very specific voice
The "I know them better than you do" burn burned more than Caleb's family house...
Anyone else think of people like Umbridge and Bellatrix as fairly good examples of Scourgers? They certainly seem to hold similar morals.
Dinah Harrold I hate Trent Ikithon on the same level that I hate umbridge
This scene is so intense- I wanted to watch his backstory and this scene again, and thus found your channel with all my favorite scenes - subscribed!
He said the line: 0:20
omg he did
Someone should dub this in german... that would be so so cool
The Volstrucker.
Anton Chigurh would've been a Volstrucker.
