2005 SL55 with 18k miles. Engine dies randomly regardless of speed or engine temp. No error codes. All dash lights remains off except SRS light when the engine stalled. Engine starts back up right after recycling ignition key, after I stop to put it in park. Sometimes, the car can go for a month with out any problems, and sometimes the Engine stalls multiple times within few minutes. Replaced both batteries and crankshaft sensor. It made no difference. Car is in prestine condition. Always garaged. No other issues. Any comments is appreciated.
Hi Brian, any updates ? I just sent my pulley to ZPE to get it done. What do you think about doing the micro machining to the belt wrap kit ? Also what are your findings with the belts ? I got the green belt but now you got me thinking...
I know this video is older, but I'm very interested in your results. I've perused your video list and watched the 3 or so videos after this but no mention of your results/findings regarding the pulley and belt combo. Maybe I missed something? I'm 95% done with my rebuild and am trying to address this belt slip issue. I've machined my own belt wrap kit, haven't started my motor yet but hoping it helps. I have 2 OEM belts but haven't tried the "Gator Back" belt. Any feedback and/or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan
Good evening I have tried to contact you on on your email address never got a return answer about working on my car I was wondering if I could get the website for the pulley you just described on this website on the UA-cam
Very cool man, also interested to see your logs for contrast with the old pulley and new machined pulley
Did I miss the update video with the test results? Otherwise I am eagerly waiting!
Great video but what were the results of your dyno testing? Please give your impressions whether good or bad.

Don't hit the start button while putting it in gear like I do every time.......?
Love your videos man, just discovered your channel today,
How much power do both of your AMGs make? Do you have any vids of you racing?
I'd love to compare the CF of this process to simply blasting the pulley with 80 grit carborundum.
How much and did you experience any belt slip with the other belts what were the results?
definitly works👍
Quick fix is to sand blast the pulley grooves

What was the total cost to have this done? What have you noticed so far using it?
Hi Just wondering what belt was the best to use ? And also can you please post the pully company
Thanks in advance
Was it worth it then?

Wouldn’t be easier for a company to just design a smaller belt that will eliminate belt slip, instead of BWK and Machined pulleys?
