Tools Needed: 12x12 trimmer, scissors, adhesive (including 3D foam adhesive), corner rounder, paint brush, cut of water, small sheet of plastic, paper towel

Hi Vicki, I have been watching your videos for the past week. Your positive outlook on life and energy and "all the things" has helped my sanity and my health. I have the dreaded Co-Vid. I have never tried mixed media but loved watching you create. I have been making envelope mini-Albums. The small size and easy instructions have kept me busy. I know what everyone will be getting for Christmas and probably birthdays too. Thank you for your time and fun videos. I will be back. ( I live in Las Vegas and it's August 2023.)

Did not watch live, but it is Labour Day here in NZ so no work today. I do not have any doodle bug and was not crafting today but watched while I was baking. Love all you do Vicki, I love this community so much as I don't have any crafty friends close by, so thank you. I enjoy listening and crafting along and yes sometimes I forget that you can't hear me and talk back to you 🤣 my husband just laughs at me. Keep singing girl, you do you.

Thank you for a fabulous class, Vicki! Love the polaroid embellishment, the tips of playing with placement before gluing the items down, and the gorgeous rainbow layout. The use of the tiny embellishments in a rainbow is genius.

This was an awesome free class! I had so much fun creating. I didn't have the Doodle Bug collection so used a fall collection that I have and it turned out super cute. I will for sure be recreating the same layouts with other collections as well. You are so generous to provide this today. SOOO glad I found you here and have been binge watching your other videos. :)

When the person asked to see the layout while cutting, I could understand why. If we do not have this exact paper, and want to use another paper- it helps to know where it goes to make sure it matches.

You are so right about the Distress Inks! I have had mine forever and even bought the reinkers before they sold them in the lots with the Oxides, paint, sprays etc. Love me some Tim Holtz stuff! I just love the idea you are using mix media on a page with emphra that all of the thing's on the page don't have to be distressed, torn, inked and it looks great!
Vicki, Thank you for a terrific free class. I was following along on the replay (because I need the closed captioning). I loved the combination of a little mixed media, a pocket page, and some 12x12s.

When I layered the base sheets, I cut the middle out of them to just allow for the border to be seen, this way I have even more paper's left over for smaller layouts, 6x6, 8x8 and tags, cards! Love all the stuff!
