Word of advice for those who haven't played Diablo III yet. If you want any kind of a challenge then play on one of the harder modes. "Normal" should be called "Stupid Easy," because that's exactly what it is. By the end of Act II you'll be so OP'ed and pretty much invincible.
Even on the hardest difficulty, this game is a breeze. I got the plat on PS4 which requires going through the game with permadeath (cannot remember the name of the difficulty). I went back to D2 recently (OG, not remaster) after not playing for over a decade and got my ass handed to me. I cannot believe how easy 3 is compared to 2.
No wonder I was running through bosses and regular enemy’s like crazy lol I was like there is no way!
@@Estorium Yep, on the hardest difficulty all the boni you get result in you getting way to OP way to fast.
I pray to god that the devs port Grim Dawn to the switch. This would be FCKN AMAZING!!!

First I wanna say that there are a lot of good JRPGs out there but It's nice to actually be able to watch a recommendation video where every game on the list isn't a JRPG.
Kingdoms of Amalur is in my opinion also a masterpiece that should be added to the list. It is a bit overwhelming at first to get into, but it is truly amazing!
First minute in to the game you were naked.
Comes out full badass armor outside that dungeon.

Sorry, bought the Collectors Edition, got about 10hrs in and just didn't like it. I'm thinking about picking up iX and giving the series another shot.

@@trashinGame Believe me, man, I wanted to love it. I loved the Y's games back in the day and really wanted to get back into the series. Maybe it just wasn't the right time. I'll give VIII another shot someday. Btw, I did dig the characters.

Masterpiece is a lightly used word. I would say it's ok. I played it myself and it isn't that great. Ys Origins was much better imo

Transistor and Hades are amazing games. You can’t go wrong with any of Super Giant’s games
I agree they are awesome games but they're not arpg they might have some elements but i wouldnt put them in the category

The problem is that at least a couple of these games are not Switch exclusive, and are much better off being played on more capable consoles. Ys 8 and Dark Souls Remastered fall into that category. Just try playing 10 seconds of DS on Switch and then 10 seconds with its PS4 version. You won't want to go back to the Switch version, LOL. Besides the visuals beings scaled back, even the audio of DS on Switch is compressed and muffled-sounding. It's a fantastic game, but Switch is probably the worst console you could play it on. Worse than PS3 in audio.
This illustrates a major problem for Switch: it lacks a really good selection of exclusive games that were optimized for it. Inferior ports are like worn hand-me-downs.
Portable
Yeah its a great rpg machine but not for action, fps and such.
Its portable however and enjoyment is something up to the player.
So you do you if you dont own anything else

As great as Monster Hunter and Hades are, they do not belong anywhere near this list.
you left out so many rpg games did you forget them no dragon quest final fantasy games both xenoblade games and a bunch of otehrs
