I love Patton, but I think that shows just what a vocalist Freddie Mercury was that even Mike struggles a bit at :10. I know it's just one performance, but just saying. Also, I always get a kick out of hearing Bungle cover Motley Crue.
That's not quite true. In the original Queen track, Freddie does do it in falsetto during the first chorus, but if you listen to the second chorus, he doesn't (at about the 2:00 mark). Anyhow, not knocking Patton as he's probably my all-around favorite singer ever, but there's no denying Freddie Mercury is a tough act to follow.
❤
Love to hear Mike sing Freddie and Elton
i always loved the way that would happen at a BUNGLE show when they spun those 3 turds of music into 1 great song, done very, very tounge in the Cheecka
Listen to the rest of the concert. His voice seemed pretty shot.

No, you're right though. Freddy was so good even Mike Fucking Patton could barely hang. Tremendous

i think mike´s voice peaked around 1992-1993, but i agree about mercury´s talent
I think if he did that song years later he would hit that note. His voice/range got better a couple of years later
