Another great lesson Brian. The intro was easy for me as I'm familiar with those chords. However the other part of the tune will be hard to ram into my old skull.
This is definitely the best way to learn guitar. I've taken many in-person guitar lessons before and walked away with very little. I've recently become a premium member, and I am actually retaining the massive amount of information. Thank you, Brian.
I'm glad you mentioned Duke Robillard, he's a great player. I learned the most from these two videos: Uptown Blues, Jazz, Rock & Swing Guitar by Duke Robillard and Blues Guitar With Soul by Ronnie Earl, Ronnie is great too! 🎸
Hitting up my Friday guitar fest with my fav weekly guitar guru and extraordinare! Thanks Brian you have a way of having something fresh and new even if it's 3 day old leftovers. Never a run on sentence keep it up!
Wonderful lesson Brian. Thank you! Duke is one of my favorite guitarists. He plays in our area often. Love learning this style of the blues. In Gratitude!
Really good lesson! The people I jam with have noticed that I'm playing more interesting parts since I've been learning from your videos. Thanks Brian !
Great, I love Robillard, too! ... Thanks man, very interesting material, as usual🥇There's also a taste of Les Paul, in the second chorus..(Vaughan is virtually everywhere, talking about blues...)
Do you think this would sound decent on a 69 Gretsch Country Genleman guitar. Also what effects are you using. I usually just use a bit of reverb and echo. Thanks for all you course material.
Hello Brian, Cool song, well done, like it a lot. My problem is: I ´ve been always (since a few weeks) asked to „lock in“ or something like „melde dich an“ to make sure i am not a bot!? That kills my nerves, so what the f… wants this from me to know? Anyway you did a great job again, this is just an IT problem. Greetings from Germany and just for shure, I am a premium member
Hey Brian, did you know that Jimmy Page played guitar on every single Led Zeppelin album? He also produced every album. Did you not know that? I'm sorry you're so ignorant. LOL
"I play Mandolin, so it's a little easier" ... Oh, of course you do. These uber talented people and their multi instrumental prowess. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You're amazing as always, brother.
Few things these days get me more hyped to play some blues music than your videos. Well done, man!
Hints of Stormy Monday and Riviera Paradise there, Brian. Beautiful.
so true. Good ear
Another great lesson Brian. The intro was easy for me as I'm familiar with those chords. However the other part of the tune will be hard to ram into my old skull.
Every week something really cool...Brian . Active melody is easily the best thing online
You just keep getting better and better as a player and a teacher! Inspiring to watch year after year.
Love the rhythmic ideas for slow blues like that! 🎸💕
The slow blues is always a crowd pleaser !!!! Love the jazzy/blues D diminished-ish chord run !!!!! Really Excellent !!!!!!!
Great stuff. I’ve been listening to and playing blues for over fifty years and, as often happens with your channel, I learned something new. Thanks.
We never stop learning do we brother?… 👍
This is definitely the best way to learn guitar. I've taken many in-person guitar lessons before and walked away with very little. I've recently become a premium member, and I am actually retaining the massive amount of information. Thank you, Brian.
So good! Thank you, Brian!

your playing skills leapfrogged, teaching skills even more. i am catching on to this thanks to you. very much appreciated.
Tasty Playing! That's exactly why I joined your site a few months ago! Thank you for all you do!
Man this is easily one of the best things you’ve ever written. Just lovely.
He's not writing anything. He's just copying it from others. This is a dude who thinks that Jimmy Page never played guitar on Led Zeppelin albums.
Such a fantastic teacher! Great examples and explanations! Love it
Your favorite Brian and mine, sounds fantastic.
Hitting up my Friday guitar fest with my fav weekly guitar guru and extraordinare! Thanks Brian you have a way of having something fresh and new even if it's 3 day old leftovers.
Never a run on sentence keep it up!
plenty of run on sentences! i just edit them out ;) or try to anyway.
That is so great! I was hearing this things, didn't know what they were and now it's crystal clear. Thanks so much.
Love the rhythmic ideas. also the 6 and 9 chords. Thx Brian
Nice jazzy blues, great lesson thanks
Thank you, great lesson !
Wonderful lesson Brian. Thank you!
Duke is one of my favorite guitarists.
He plays in our area often.
Love learning this style of the blues.
In Gratitude!
Loved this. Thank you for sharing.
Tasty blues/jazz licks ideas 👍🎵🎸🙏
Thanks man , one of your best , just love this❤
Really good lesson! The people I jam with have noticed that I'm playing more interesting parts since I've been learning from your videos. Thanks Brian !
Fantastic lesson sir.
Have recently been getting into jump blues.
Think I've found my blues home.
This lesson is perfect.
Thankyou fella.
👍
Reminds me of a chord melody approach to blues which I don’t hear often. Thanks Brian
That last was also T-Bone inspired as well as the walk-up LOVE it
Terrific lesson... thanks!
Great stuff! I love it! Thank you!!!
As always. Love the content brian thank you
Excellent lesson slow Blues... hopefully I can learn to play it 😉
Great lesson. I’ve been a premium member for several years. I’ve learned most guitar playing from you as opposed to many other UA-cam guitar teachers.
Nobody cares
@@smwallace2368 maybe you don’t but his subscribers do
Pure taste. As always.
Several light-bulbs for me this time. Connecting the dots is getting easier. Thanks Brian.
Well done!! Can't go wrong borrowing some Duke!
Great, I love Robillard, too!
... Thanks man, very interesting material, as usual🥇There's also a taste of Les Paul, in the second chorus..(Vaughan is virtually everywhere, talking about blues...)
That green strat❤
Thanks man I love to borrow licks that you borrow keep it uo
Great! Sue Foley also does this moves up between chord inversions. Chords seem to help to break up playing single line riffs
Beautiful tone / song
Hello guitarist. Hello Brain. Thanks 🙏❤️🍀👌🎵🎶🎼🌹✌️🎸. Love blues.
Thanks, was informative.
That put me in mind of T Bone Walker’s, Stormy Monday! Beautiful stuff man, thank you..
Great lesson, thanks a lot. The on run on 4th chord: DmajMaj7b5 -> dminMaj7b5 -> dminb5Add2 (formally I guess, interesting).
Sounds like you’ve been tapping into your inner “Ronnie Earl”. Excellent stuff!
Excellent, thanks!
sick dano! 🔥
Great song. Love slow blues
Very cool intro, Brian
Robben Ford / Kirk Fletcher / Josh Smith esque. Excellent!
Ooooh I like this already
That sounds nice.
Funky and a little hard for me - so that’s great!
Legend!!! Thanks.
Beauuuuuuuutiful intro, bro
I don't usually be on green guitars but that one I super slick
Light bulb moments on the E6-E9 chords ( i like the Hendrix chord progression too):)
Needed this!
Would love a quick lesson on tremolo picking ... !
Ridiculous, so GOOD😮
Love it!
nice !
Do you think this would sound decent on a 69 Gretsch Country Genleman guitar. Also what effects are you using. I usually just use a bit of reverb and echo.
Thanks for all you course material.
Yes absolutely! Reverb and a tiny bit of overdrive is all I’m using
Love it. Note could you make the SLICE tab thingy work on the member page please
thank you
It’s working
Nice !
Riviera Paradise SRV with train wreck bends. Very nice.
definitely hear some Riviera Paradise!!
Super !
NICE!!!
Love that color green. I can't make out the name on the headstock. What brand is it?
Brian doesn't care to answer you. He's too busy obfuscating the fact that Jimmy Page played guitar on every single Led Zeppelin album.
T-Bone Walker was the King back in the 40sand 50s
Is that strat mystic pine?
One thing from SRV has the same beginning, I forgot what it's called.
What's your signal chain for this?
Hey Brian, slundslice embedding isn’t currently working
A little Otis Rush too.👍
allman brothers dickie betts duane allman etc - stormy monday
The very beginning is the same way Riviera Paradise starts (by SRV)
Superb
Great..
What is the make on that Strat? Is the fingerboard bound?
@@davidhall8086 yes - bound. It’s a Danocaster

this happens lately if you're using a VPN - you might try using a different location in your VPN, otherwise disable...
Zzzzz...
@@smwallace2368 I ´am sorry but its not a problem with the VPN course i do not use one. But i will find out why this problem exits
But what do this „Zzzzz…“ mean
@@activemelody Hello No I don’t use VPN! What can I try next?
❤❤❤
Anybody know the brand of the guitar neck? Can't read it in the video.
Danocaster
Thank you Brian!
is that an oswald ?
Hint of Ronnie Earl 🙂
Slow good!
How about a mandolin LESSON?
Need easier version of this😂
JUNK - Paul McCartney
Hey Brian, did you know that Jimmy Page played guitar on every single Led Zeppelin album? He also produced every album. Did you not know that? I'm sorry you're so ignorant. LOL
do you mind explaining what this is in reference to?
"I play Mandolin, so it's a little easier" ...
