Look at this anchor she is playing political. Respect to China. I would appreciate hard work for china. They should make more dams so the water dont get to India same way they treat to Pakistan and Bangladesh
For people in comment section, i am saddened by the lack of research or information gathering not done. The threat of dam is purely geographical and not water borne. Also, there is a opposite dam being constructed in Arunachal Pradesh that will balance overflow of water. The water to our nation will decrease but the decrease of water is minuscule due to how this river generates water less from glaciers and more from rain. Also, its been proven and confirmed that at the U belt of the river where this dam is being built, a reservoir type dam cannot be built due to terrain shape (which does not support water holding) And another factor being, the ferocious nature of water flow at the U-belt due to sudden drop of altitude. Hence a runoff type dam is only possible. Even if they try to build a reservoir type dam the issue is they need more terrain removal and more concrete then the 3 gorges dam to try and hold the water speed and pressure. The govt has taken not of this hence, the opposite dam is what they are building. If there is any error in my statement do, correct me with links or references to material for proof. Thank you.

Feeling vexed when rubbish is dumped over from the other side or exasperating when siblings from both sides provoke and engage in confrontation. Before uttering four letter words, examine the fault lines first. A shift in outlook with courtesy will result in tolerance and more positive atmosphere. Within the tension and complexities of contemporary society, most times, neighbours are strangers and can't be bothered about what happened next door. As an afterthought; Indian Ocean is so big. Learn from Singapore and desert kingdom, Saudi Arabia about how sea water desalination can be suitable for drinking and support industries and agriculture. After easing monetary policy, up to owners to secure funding and if can't succeed, then go bust. Govt step in later. It is easy to point out problem, what difficult is to solve it.
India is doing against Nepal same game plan
Nepal is above india geographically
Now nepal get all river right power
from India we also made such biggest dam to overtake India 😅😅😅😅😅😅
India did the same Farakka. They floded Bangladesh during the war.
I agree India must breakup to allow indigenous nations to emerge. India is still no different from British India.
So should China since they have illegally occupied Tibet, parts of Russia. I mean the state that China is now I wouldn't be surprised if it does in the future.
Tukde Tukde inshallah
So your first reaction to China taking advantage of the unique geography of the river is that they are "weaponising" the river? Not that China could be using the river to generate electricity to use for its people?
Not only is India inciting Tibetan separatism. India is also actively building up a separatist Tibetan army against China. China has every reason to deal with India as an enemy. Yet with a pretentious aggrieved look, we self-righteously ask why China should be so hostile against India!
It's like for years your neighbor sends your son to school in their car because their kid goes to the same school. But one day, you and your son decide to ill-treat his kid. Your neighbor stops offering his free service. Now you don't have a car and the school is a long way off. You're caught high and dry and cannot help being raving mad. But really, you have no right to be angry with your neighbor. He does not owe you a living.
Except, this neighbour has not done anything for us and backstabbed time and again. Also this neighbour is bound by international laws.
@@meghasanyal4861 Not done anything? By virtue of their physical geography, your neighbour has been supplying you fresh water all along for free! Never take it for granted - they don't owe it to you to have to continue supplying it to you. Backstab? This is a strong word but who's been backstabbing who? Pretending to feel aggrieved doesn't elevate your false claims. You've been sitting on their historical lands thanks to your old British master stealing their territories by illegally redrawing borders. Cry and whinge all you may about your criminal Father England enslaving you and looting on the subcontinent in the recent past. Yet when it comes to their stolen lands, you pretend all is in order and claim the stolen lands are nevertheless your "sacred soil" in a most cringeworthy manner! International laws? Whose laws? Remember the northern fringes and the northeast have had always been inhabited by Mongoloid people since time immemorial and they were never even part of your overhyped ancient Bharat that is already fantastically predicated on cooked up fairy tales and mythologies.
China has also the right to use its resources. The same applies to its neighbors. the best option is to share the existing resources. objections will not help.

Chinese hydroelectric power generation, 1.35 trillion kilo watt-hours, accouted for 15% of China electric power in 2022 . We will use more renewable energy to reduce CO2 emission to save the world from Global warmming by building more hydro power plant and solar electric plant. Indian hydroelectric power generation was only 0.152 trillion kilo watt-hours in 2022. I suggest that India should build more hydro electric plant, instead of envying other's progress.
There is local opposition on every Hydro scheme.

India exists today only because of British India. It is not a natural nation. Natural nations can revert to names that attest to their own authentic origins. So Sri Lanka supplants Ceylon, Myanmar is the proud name in place of Burma. Even Bangladesh flag flies gloriously over what was East Pakistan. But India? Without father England who ran away exhausted by WW2, there's no India an illegitimate empire put together by England with lands stolen from various peoples. There is simply no legitimate name to fall back on. And we avariciously cling to borders and territories stolen by England as our own.
just check a 3-D map, China is like a huge roster sitting on the heads of India, with the tops of Himalaya in China, 4000 meters above the Indian plain, water flows down, it is just natural law.

If anything, it is age-old Nepal that has the closest claims to a relationship with ancient Ashoka civilization. Present-day India is foreigner-created nation with only 70 odd years of history. It should not fabricate the notion of an ancient bharat as a fig leaf to mask its dubious political origins, and as an excuse for its ill-concealed expansionist ambition inherited from Father England.

I wanted to talk about what's been going on at the Nepalese border with India. It's been frustrating to see the repeated blockades causing trouble for our people when they're traveling.

Also, its been proven and confirmed that at the U belt of the river where this dam is being built, a reservoir type dam cannot be built due to terrain shape (which does not support water holding)
And another factor being, the ferocious nature of water flow at the U-belt due to sudden drop of altitude.
Thank you.
