- So we say goodbye to the legend, the Fendt 1167 two track and it's definitely bittersweet one at that!.. It was a fun tractor to oporate and it was one of the main reasons I was able to seed my crop at the north farm in 2022 due to the 15in of rain we had during seeding. But I try not get attached to "equipment" and so I look forward to the replacement.
NOBODY describes a tractor noise better than Mike. Thank you Mike.

I sure hope there is a group of young engineers at one of the tractor companies that watch Mike's videos. Maybe they'll learn a few things like we get to.

I can tell you straight away why the wheels slip during a turn. You definitely have a flat tyre on that side!

I 2nd this motion. A separate north and south farm tour in the spring would be 👌🏼. A lot of work, though.

We ran the 715 for a day this fall on the protill and put it through its paces. It is a beast nothing compares to it when the 620 would shift down the 715 pulls through it’s amazing. I have a video on my Chanel of the 715 harrowing. Way over kill but it’s cool. You need to try it once you have it you’ll never go back
Great review good too know what you think. I don't think the claas is suitable as has less power and a small fuel tank. Can't quite understand how you can afford too be getting rid of it after only 2 years just too try something else. Gavin

In the vid about the 580 Mike said that a 715 can't be had until way after seeding so I am guessing thats not an option
Would be going backwards with Xerion less power and not enough hydraulics

Never coukd figure why they dont have the lug drive 24:38 system on thr 2 tracks so would eliminate the slippage or is it needed for turning
It's not really possible. The first 2 tracks were lug driven, they were ripping the lugs right off the tracks. Can't really have it with them.
My guess is Mike gets another Case and has a pair with his wife… Maybe a 645 but not a 715.
I bet he’ll either get another Deere or a xerion. Mike seems to always have 1 more untraditional “big” tractor (1050, 1167, maybe xerion now?)

Didnt mention the ride you said before it rode better than the quads i believe and your other 2 tracks. Hope you swapped to a better choice for your operation only you can determine that. Nothing is perfect.

I figured Mike wouldn't be as crazy about a new tractor with an older cab. Especially with that 724 Gen 6 on the farm too. That Gen 6 cab is one heck of a machine. My dad's been running late-model 8R Deeres and he's jealous of the Fendt Gen 6 cab. We just don't have much Agco down here in the Texas Panhandle in spite of the presence Ag Chem had back in the 90's before they got acquired.
So everyone has their own opinion. I'm from Germany and have been driving various John Deere and Fendt for a long time.
I really like our Fendt 724 Gen 6. The operation and software in particular offer so many options. But the John Deere cab, since the first 8000 series, is for me the most beautiful and comfortable cab. That's why my favorite so far has been our 8370R. We recently had an 8RX 410 on the farm. This tractor is an absolute dream... especially the cab 😍
You can change that.!!! Next time you need a new tractor buy one and give it a go.!!! It's a BEAST.!!!

Never been a fan of tracks. Even though they less compaction and are fine in dry conditions they soon become a pain in the wet. Even the lug drive tracks like Case have are horrendous to clean after being in mud. Tyres are the only way to go.
You need the 80's Bruce Banner walking into the distance music.
Would you ever consider a versatile? we have them and love the large cab and just like the tractor over all.

Gonna be interesting to see the 1167 replacement. It will have some big shoes to fill with it pulling power. Sad to see it go, but i dont think its the right tractor for the north farm. Seems like a quad tracked or wheels is the way to go up north. Fendt seriously needs to make a quad trac version of this tractor.

The new ones have the Genesis 6 Series Fendt ONE Cabs.... you got that one a year to early!!!! Starting in 2020 AGCO is phasing out "Challenger"... Even though "CAT" hasn't been in the business since 2012 AGCO has still had to pay them royalties for the name "Challenger"... Just keep buying CaseIH, you'll be better off.... You'll never get a 715 until next fall, but a 620 is still better... JD finally dumped that POS 13.5L and the Cummins 15L for their new 13.6L.... Even you admitted two years ago when you had that loaner 620 Quad, pulled better than anything!!!!
The Fendt MT 900-1000 series don't come with Fendt One cabs, all (new) wheeled Fendt tractors have them, 200 series to 1000 series have Fendt One cabs.
Still a Case IH 645 model 2024 is an option.
Did you have the opportunity to take in the Agritechnica this year and see some new developments in larger equipment ?
You crazy people and your use of Centigrade is confusing. When you said warm and zero degrees in the same sentence I thought you had finally lost your mind but then I realized you were using the devils degrees and all made sense. I have to admit it would be difficult for me to switch to Centigrade but it would be nice if the whole world used the same system. At least we can both agree that -40 is freaking cold unless you're talking Kelvin and then it's just impossible.
A CVT Transmission in a Passenger Car is terrible and some (maybe all?) are non-serviceable. In Heavy Equipment they are ok and a lot more beefed up.
Someone should make a time mark on every video of Mike being iconic, just like at 10:42 😂

Pretty sure it was a 2 year lease. I think I remember him saying last year that he put too many hours on it for the lease, and needed to limit them this year.

I've not driven an 1167, but have a few hours in the 1050 now. I can only imagine how nice the big 2-track is. The reason I'm commenting today is to say I noticed your "Faith Hope Farms" plate is still on the back of the 1167. I just want to make sure you get that off so you can reuse it somewhere else. I'm running a John Deere 8r410 with the evt transmission I love it I have put 292 hours on it so far it has been awesome it is suppose to be Deere's version of the cvt in the high hp tractors we have we have four tractors with the e23 transmission I have been watching you for a while complain how bad it's sucks on you 9620s I'm a John Deere fan 100% but that transmission absolutely sucks give me a powershift ivt or the evt transmissions

Claas XERION 12.650 Terra Trac Quadtrac would be interesting, but it's a very new mashine so I guess not. Case or John deere quadtrac we will see. A Versatile would be funny.
Whats so funny about a Versatile? The World dont Revolve around Deere? To many of you are so far up deeres Rearend you cant see past color & name. I think the Germany Equipment is Better then the Deeres by far.
@@chadshafer8095 oh sorry. This was not my intention. Versitile is kind of exotic in some areas. Might be more common in Kanada. Funny was the wrong word for it. They all have there pro and cons and reasons of existance. Versatile would definitely have been interesting.
