Stafford is not that far from where I live in Cheshire. It's 31 miles away. Another great video. I like these range tests as it shows what the bike is really like and what its capable of doing.
Liked that. Especially the double suspension. Just needs puncture proof tyres and to be able to pull 250kg and it’s pretty much as good as you’d ever need

Yes these are certainly not country lanes. He should come to the Forest of Dean if he wants to see some real ones. Barely enough room to get a small car through some of the ones near my house and they are rammed full of potholes.

That was an epic road trip! Question: with heavier ebikes like this, do you know of a maintenance stand that can cope with the weight or do you just old school it and put the bike on its handle bars?
I bought a 2nd battery for my self-built bike ( bafang mid drive ) for longer trips. I steyggle with my arse too. I've got a wide old man saddle & padded shorts I wear under my trousers, but tte best thing I've found is numbing cream. Rub it into the area around your sit bones. Someone suggested buying padded bib shorts as the padded bit stays put. I'm gonna give thrm a try. I can't hack anything more than 30 miles at the mo.
Yeah long trips are a nightmare no matter what. I think I'd need a full bucket seat. Weirdly I've always been more uncomfortable with a bit of padding than no padding 🤦🤷
You can use heat cream as well, anything that gets flowing to those areas, i stand on the pedals and flex my legs out to the side to help get circulation back around those areas, also try a tens machine with heat function. For me its my hand numbing that annoys me most lol
On the website they make no 250w claims as other brands do. Yeah I think if I could choose I'd go for the X5 pro as the drop frame helps with the rear seat.

Brill. Loved it, the usual mix of interesting, engaging and hilarious. I ride my 500w etrike (I'm an old, fat bastard) on the short section of dual carriageway between our house and the supermarket, ridden past/next to/behind the coppers loads of times and theyve never said zip about it, so have always assumed that, either its legal, or the police are far too busy investigating non crime hate incidents. I really fancy one of these monster battery bikes, but got no balance, so trike. Enjoyed the vid mate thanks for sharing

@e-VRC Excellent that you're thinking about a trike, but, because you are you, and you'll probably start with a monster powerful one, just be careful, practice slowly, off road if you can. I said to my Daughters, "Behave! I've been cycling for 6 decades!" and promptly fell off in front of the whole street. Turning is weird. You're a far healthier and more experienced cyclist than what I am, so you will be okay, but take it easy before you engage warp drive 👍🏻

Was i ripped off paying 4k for my Cannondale e mtb in 2018. It's still using the same motor and battery , averaging 60 miles on full charge . I wonder , will this Tesway still be on a the road in 2032 ?

You are allowed to cycle on a dual carriageway in the uk despite someone in the comments saying your Not but where you are riding on the A 449 stafford road the fway on the opposite side to you is a shared cycle lane and pedestrian footpath.
If you think those are country lanes, you don't want to come down to Devon, most of our roads are country lanes or as i call them " farmer lanes " lol, my arse is ruined on my e-bike rides on them.

If you actually look closer at the stats though, you will realise 95% of electric vehicle seizures are electric scooters not bikes. My local force will take your e-scooter away but they leave bikes alone.
Your not allowed on a dual carriage way on a pedal bike also if your going over 15.5 mph and with a throttle your going to get nicked.they are clamping down on it recently e-bikes and escooters they take them of you and crush them you carnt get it back. I have 52v ebike w/60ah batteries. My long rides are between 40 and 80 miles. And still have 20 miles left in tank. All in pas1.

I was using push bike rules (or rather guidance). If the light goes green then they'll be trying to undertake me which is much worse.
