Ah, the leaking foil packet. A cosmetologist's nightmare. I recently saw a vid of someone using baking soda in lieu of lightener. She mixed it with 40 vol and it actually worked decently. Do you think you could try it out and see if it wrecks the cuticle layer or is a possible alternative to bleach powder for those that fear it?
