I'm done with lead batteries , I'm buying a Dakota lithium 100ah and I don't have to turn around because my battery is low on juice !! Better battery better fishing day

If you have a page that helps pick batterys you would think you would put a link to the page up to help people find it.

I was hoping that you would have talked about lithium batteries. I have an ulterra 36v and I am looking for the best option. I was told by a local installer that I can't use a 100ah battery because it could damage my motor.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I am on 15 months with my old terrova and my 24 volt 100ah lithium battery. I love it and have no issues... I did switch to a lithium-compatible charger and refreshed my system(connection, switches, plug)

The Dumb guy, Smart guy routine is totally unnecessary...the smart guy could easily do this alone!

The amp hour rating is what matters not battery size.

What is the ah batteries for ulterra 80 thrust? Thw formula 85% times ah divided by 56 means that even a 110ah would only run motor 1.6 hours. Surely this cannot be correct.

I bought a 55lb bow mount edge trolling motor, but the end of the cables are to tiny to fit on any battery terminal, I’m very confused and not sure what to do

Hi Rocky! The battery terminal rings are there just for the manufacturing process. They are intended to be cut off, and then the battery leads wired into your application for the boat. We do this because every rigging is different for every user and boat set up.

@@cr250FoLife I ended up cutting off the ends, and stripping the cable then wrapping the wire around the terminal, and I put a fitting of the terminal so it won’t come off lol

@@rockytoptwizzy4226 I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve gotta splice some more wire on though to reach my battery

If it's not a LiFePO4 battery, you've got the wrong thing.
