Ive been a huge Xenogears fan since my first playthrough back in 1998. I playd Xenosaga Episode 1 and half of episode 2. It have been in my mind that one day i will play through all of them from episode 1 to 3. To day is that day, completed them all, and just....wow... Episode 3 just blew me away, the feeling and emotions i felt, havent felt like this since i was a kid. When this song was playd during a scene at the end, i had to shed some tears :( What an absolute masterpiece of a game!
Hundreds of tears shed during the 8 minutes this song plays in game. Will likely never experience something that painful from a video game ever again, don't know if I want to. Gonna be hard to recover from tonight... Good night, KOS-MOS...
That part of the ending got to me most of all. Used him in 2 and 3 in my party and now he's gone. But if there was ever a Xenosaga 4 I would hope he comes back as a force ghost at the very least or something like that.
There is a solemnity to these notes, this arrangement; there is a quiet, gentle sadness through every refrain. This is the melody of a glad kind of sorrow, of hard work having been done well. This is the shout of triumph and the whimper of defeat, in just under eight minutes. This is a caliber of composition uncommon to any medium, let alone a video game, and we are the beneficiaries of the genius which produced it.
Theses games are really overlooked nowadays, they get a lot of bad rep, and while I understand some of it, it was way better than I was expecting when I actually got to play them, damn what a ride theses last 3 hours were I think the overall view of them would change with a rerelease and the goodwill the Xenoblade series brought
You know you have a good game when all you do is listen to the soundtrack BEFORE playing the game. Seriously though, this song is very beautiful, and Xenosaga had better bet an HD remake soon so a lot of people can experience it for the first time.
@@niveknorac4130 Its a nice touch. Playing the OG then the remade version if made that is. Wonder what it would look like in 4K HDR Ultra with Present GEN Graphics of today
Jin's dead. KOS-MOS and chaos are gone. The party's split up, Ziggy and MOMO stay on another ship while Jr., Shion, and Allen board the Elsa to find Lost Jerusalem/Earth.
@@dandybus1582 Honestly. Even though Xenosaga isn't without its flaws, it really is a good series. Like, really good. It just was delt a terrible hand, ranging from Monolith being too ambitious, to Episode II being a less than stellar product, and even some people gave it a bad rep when it clearly didn't deserve it.
Sleep well, KOS-MOS…
See you soon!
The saddest song at the most poignant moment in any RPG I've ever played. Even after so many years, nothing compares.
''Good Night''
-Kos Mos
The final words spoken in the Xenosaga Franchise
Very fitting since the first words spoken outside the prologue are “Good Morning”. It all comes full circle in the end.
“And now i long for the noise of the past.. but this too is pleasant in an odd sort of way..”
Oh Jin😭
one of the most heartbreaking video game moment ...
''Thank you Jin''
-Chaos
That one moment just hit so damn hard :(
RiP Jin, you did a great job as her elder brother, one last time...

Sorry, as much as I would love a remake: www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/bandai-namco-shoots-down-xenosaga-hd-collection/
@@Sealed14X Best way to go is support Xenoblade DE, maybe they'll listen then...Or just add more fanservice in XB3 lol
even with a remake i would rather play my original version on my ps2

Goodnight, Kos-Mos 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔 the best game rpg and soundtrack 💗💖💖❤️
This music is so beautiful. I loved the Xenosaga series. T__T
Just lost a character I played for 3 months in my friend's DnD session, and this was the only fitting farewell song I could think of 😭
the best song RPG, chrono cross, xenogears, xenosaga III
Good night Kos-Mos, maybe one day Shion will be able to find you floating in space, but until then have a good rest. T_T
Soon TM
Never giving up hope that they will meet each other again.
After all, they‘re bound by fate

Yeah. I remember losing all three of my favorites in the series right at the end. What a difficult ending to a wonderful series.

Kos mos and chaos are still around, says so in the ending credits "looks like the universe still needs us" I think is the line
@@williamlongstaff6638 I guess in that case, MIA would be more accurate.

@sinnad07 You're welcome!! ^^
It's missing an couple of tracks. And it's the best two in my case
Not even my own father's death was sadder than Jin's ahhahahahahaa
