Probably not. I've got the GW4 Classic 4G LTE. It is unclear to me from you the BIPR website whether I can connect an external BLE HRM sensor to Samsung smartwatches, and not just Wear OS watches in general. I've seen reports where even with an external sensor being reported, it's still the Samsung sensor on the watch which is actually taking the measurement. I want to use BIPR with a Polar chest strap for interval running shorter than 30 seconds and with higher accuracy than the built in optical sensor of the watch.
@@GadgetyMV It is not possible to do it natively but with the app HR2VP Watch Bike Computer you can do it. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bipr.bike.hr2vpwatch
@@bipr Does your app also cover interval running? Tests I've seen prior with Polar's software initiating the session with Galaxy Watch 4 and then running through Google Fit (as Samsung Health natively blocks it) reported the HRM as if coming from the Polar strap, but in fact it was still the watch sensor. Since I don't do biking a lot of the HR2VP features will go unused. It looks like a one time purchase of USD 11.99, but there's a suggestion of "in-app purchases" which aren't transparent prior to downloading. Is there any fee in addition to the initial $11.99?
@@GadgetyMV Yes the app covers running, you have a running mode inside with upload to Strava as running. It is one time fee no additional in app purchase.
@@iphunkz It depends on what you prefer, if you don't care about battery life, then I think it might be the best choice. Otherwise if you prefer a bit more battery and a bigger display get the 47mm...
Yes I got 43mm classic. Not sure to understand what a no gap strap is but the band is a S/M band and I am right in the middle. Often I use the very first holes of the band on other models. I have a 17 cm round wrist.
@bipr I have about the exact same size wrist. Do you think 47mm is too big? And do you trust samaung that the batteries last the same on the 47mm vs the 43mm? @@kellenrhoda9271 It is a matter of taste... I think for me it would be possible to get a 47mm but I don't need such a big screen for what I do: bigger also means more exposed to impacts and I think it also have an influence about HR accuracy. For all these reasons I choose the small one (and I don't care having to charge it...). If I make a small calculation: the screen is 19.5% bigger (surface) on the 47mm, the battery is 41.7% bigger. This means the 47mm battery life will be higher by around 20% from what I estimate. In your case, if you care about battery, get the 47mm!
47mm may be big but it depends on your taste... And on how much credit you give to a bigger battery... The 43mm seems the right size on wrist but if you prefer something bigger, it is possible as well...

Hi,can you test the battery? With aod on, notification on, etc. Can it last for 24 hours? Thanks
After a few more days, still the same, expect between 24 h and 30 hours battery... Depending on how much you use the watch. For me it is around 30h.
