  • A weekend with a friend of riding and visiting with one another. Scotty Kerekes (AKA Scooter Tramp Scotty) is a man who has been living the last 24 years as a motorcycle drifter. He has been all over North America traveling on his Harley seeing the things and going places that those incarcerated by the American "Dream" only dream about doing. It was a priceless time to say the least. Check out the links below of his youtube, facebook, and website.

My Harley and the open road saved my life from suicide . A broken soul and heart cannot be healed but my bike free me from those chains . I got into a accident car pulled in front of me in 2018 still recovering , I have no bike now . I enjoy your videos thank you

@Tom ten, don't give up living! I seriously considered taking my life several times. I still have the last note I wrote for my then wife just to remind me how wrong it would have been. That was back in 09', about four years after I stopped riding. Was never happy afterwards. Being alone on a bike listening to that motor talk to you and eating up miles is good for a man's soul. When you heal enough, get a trike if you can and get back with it! You are no doubt a Broken Bones Club member and you have bragging rights. Good luck to you friend!

I hear the road calling me back. I hear the sound of a Harley dresser running about 65 m.p.h. for hours before lying down on my sleeping bag in some park in some state for an hour or two, then on I go for some hours before stopping for the night. It's been a joyful 5 to 8 hundred mile ride!

@@carmineredd1198 Yeah but only if your trip lasts for a single day because after those 800 miles on a hayabusa, your wrists and back are done for the next week lol. Dont get me wrong man i love all bikes but harleys and goldwings have their purpose. You can do 500 miles every day for 3 weeks and your not gonna have any issues.

Thanks for opening up with Ecclesiastes brother!!!!!! You have truly used the Lord's blessing for his glory. You also pointed out the futility of the world and humanised the tramp lifestyle by adding depth and an appreciation of life experience which they is not taught in any textbook. Keep on keeping on brother and thanks heaps for the bible opening (also goes with the scenery).

Scotty is a solid dude. Met him and a bunch of his friends at Sturgis this year. I have a vacation home there. Let them use the place for laundry, showers etc. There were a great bunch of guys. They'd stop by every few days and invite me to ride and hang out. Really made the rally great for me as I'd traveled solo from north jersey this year.

The American dream is indeed often just chasing the wind.
In many ways it may really be better to stop chasing and simply ride with it side by side.
I too have that ramblin' bone, but for now my obligations hold me.
That won't always be the case.
One day my daughter may tire of us moving about every few years, as the spouse and I do.
Our last jaunt took us from Kansas City Missouri, to the Arizona Valley.
Might be here a little while. I like the valley a lot.
I do think it's funny that most of us I encounter are in fact military vets.
Spouse and I both are too.
We're too old to fight now.
But that don't mean the adventure stops.
You both are lookin' great by the way.
Take care of yourselves out there.

No U-Haul will follow your hearse to the cemetery. I never heard of a man on his death bead saying that he had spent more time at work. At the end of your life, your score is not a bunch of numbers with a $ in front of them. The wealthiest people I've known had the largest funerals with the people who loved them. Time with my family has always been more important to me than the size of my paycheck.
I fell in love with motorcycles when I was a kid and started riding when I was 14 years old. I haven't stopped riding and now that I'm retired, I'm riding more than ever. I'm fortunate that I can go in any direction from my house and ride two-lane roads in the mountain twisties without ever having to get on the interstate, even though I live within 5 minutes of it. No two rides are ever alike. These videos only reinforce my feelings for riding. Thanks! Keep them coming. The music is great. You make me smile!

Great vid. This man looks in peace and at ease. And non judging of people who live the "standard" life style. And the latest shows that he is truly at comfort.

Excellent video brother, so much truth spoken, nothing like being a freebird, roaming the countryside as a free human being, so many people get locked into the worldly ways of life, there's no other feeling than riding a bike around the countryside to feel that feeling of a freebird,✌️ N ❤️ brother 💯

I lived genuinely on the road - with no home - for 2 years... such a beautiful time with different challenges.
I made a bunch of videos about it on my channel. I hope to do it again.
It grows you more than you realize at the time. You have no choice but to be always present where you are because that's all you have.
Really, that's all that we all have. Living on the road takes away some distractions from that.
And you're always going forward instead of looping back to home, just like time.
If you dream of it, make a plan and make it happen. Happy days to everyone.
