Thanks you very much for this tutorial and also HUGE RESPECT for playing persona 5, 4 and 3 OST in background (also Aigis and Nanako and Fiora all have same VA)
hey thank you so much! I learned so much from this guide. Watching you discuss the items and her play style, how positioning was crucial and how to position in the first place really helped up a lot. Especially talking about items, I thought you usually only went Goredrinker/Trinity Force, which I’m glad I saw this video then. I played fiora because I picked up her prestige version and tried her out, and had a great first game. She’s super fun but I actually want to be really good at her mechanics so thank you again
Make sure to check out my guide in the description and also subscribe for more content! I also stream on twitch frequently so make sure to check me out there as well! Edit for items not mentioned in the video: Essence reaver: In my current build I have been using essence as it is really strong at the moment. The sheen gives a ton of damage which is almost as close to the damage from manamune. Again, if you would like to see how I am using this item, I would check out my mobafire guide, link in the description. Shieldbow: as mentioned above, it's not really that good. A lot of people took it for its lifesteal but it really isn't that significant and won't change the game for you. Titanic Hydra: This item looks good for stats, but it doesn't play well for Fiora. It feels like you become a "healthier assassin" as the damage is good and you get a bit more hp, but it doesn't make you tankier. You essentially trade 500hp for infinite sustain with lifesteal from Ravenous hydra.
Do you think you could do a video covering the combos and how to improve on them? I've gone in the practice tool but I'm not getting better with her quick ult combo or the flash+aa combo
As someone who plays fiora at a decent level, I think early on combos aren’t as important? Really all you have to do is try to get off a q+ auto burst sometimes giving it a q+e1+e2. But I’m not a professional
Gotta love the shin megami tensei music in the background. ❤❤ (For you persona brothers and sisters who don't know, Shin Megami Tensei is the precursor to Persona. I remember this song being the Kinshico Underground Shopping Center theme from SMT IV) 7:25
Hey, I'm not rly able to catch streams, but it's interesting to see other build options you have suggested. because most of the times I'm going for stride, manamune or ER( it depends if I am in harder matchup and can't stack tear I am going for ER first), steraks, titanic and any other optional item with best situational boots. now I think I should change the build back a bit to the glass cannon again.
it looks for champions first. if it finds champions it prioritizes in the following order: Vitals, kills, proximity. if there are no champions, it looks for minions and prioritizes as follows: kills, then proximity.
Great guide! What is your opinion on black cleaver and bork on Fiora atm? I personally feel like cleaver can be strong sometimes if you are playing against malphite or something tanky. I like bork but I don''t think it is better than other items.
Both are really weak. There is no need for either. Fiora shouldn't be focusing down tanks, and even when she is you do true damage based on %hp. As for Bork, you don't need the extra life steal or the ability to stick to an opponent since she already has a lot of movement speed and slows from E and W.
Just little mention. You can proc R as fast even without flash by just positioning urself on the edge between vitals to make move range negligible and then you Q to other side for other 2 vitals with the same thing in mind. Also grasp isnt that bad scaling rune as it with whole tree provides good round up for Fiora to cover some of her weakness like being too squishy with the best scaling itemization, which is way more valuable than "win more" option that is whole precision tree. I'd rather win every match by little than hardwin some and some got completely crushed because of some weakness exploit. Its right away better combo with sorcery than is precision with resolve as second. By 30th minute you have the same amount of AD with bonus that you dont need to stack anything and you get full advantage of resolve runes.
exactly, and grasp increases the facility of a lot of matchups, you cant all-in as much, but your level 1 aswell as your short-trading in general is greatly increased. It makes some match-ups way easier aswell, it's a playstyle you need to adapt to, as you can't all-in or 1v2 as much, but you still can. HAHAHAHAH I JUST REALISED WHAT YOUR NAME WAS LMAOOOO.
In my opinion, i think stridebreaker works a little better against squishy champs. You will definitely need it against an adcarry in the toplane such as a vayne or lucian counterpick, gnar, teemo, etc. But against any tank or bruisier, goredrinker gives all fiora needs as its active is more fast (instant trigger), heals you more if you have to give your team frontlane and get inside team fight, and that cdr scaling it gives u helps so much at the end. About building stridebreaker as first item, i also think it doesnt work so well cause, hydra gives you more AD, gives you the wave clear (is hard to farm with fiora when you are against a lane abuser and you have your wave under tower) and gives you enough sustain. When i play against a darius/sett/illaoi etc, i know that once i build my hydra, and reach lvl 11, i can go all in and kill them.
keep your eyes out for the Immortal shieldbow plus Essence Reaver build that is going on in korean high elo right now I am not even joking I just saw a match today and checked probuilds right now
Ey duude what do you think about the new build with essence reaver and Immortal Shieldbow ? It gives you sustain, damage and armor. And you never run out of mana!
I'm still getting used to playing Fiora and I've seen that most people say just to permaban malphite so I plan to do that, but once I bring her into ranked is there any other characters I should watch out for? even dodge worthy lane opponents for her? I will say I'm only in bronze 2 so I don't often dodge unless it's a champ I really dislike playing against like Darius
I would suggest getting used to match-ups rather than dodge them. Each match up you will have different objectives but you have to make sure to play for them. I would suggest taking a look at my guide as I explain what you should look for in certain matchups (link in description). I also rank the difficulty of match-ups there as well such as lissandra, gangplank, kennen, etc.
For Fiora's ult, during a team fight, does it apply to all enemy champions? And if it does, if you kill one champion, will the ult still be on the rest of the champions? Thanks
nice guide but im having trouble trying to know how to deal with mana, like i just burn it down so quickly , and dont know if/when is viable to build tear into manamune
Depends on when you are running out of mana. If you are runnng out in lane, you are probably using your mana on the wave a lot which is not necessary and you should try to stray from that habit. But if you are having mana issues then sit on tear and if you complete tear and your opponents are squishy then manamune would be a good idea
ER is really strong right now. I’ve started using it more. As for shieldbow, the mythic isn’t the best. You get a lot of life steal but you easily get one shot if you are cc. The utility from stride feels really nice with ER.
I tried the recommended build of essence reaver and i couldnt get used to it, so seeing that this was another path was great cause i think this build suits me way more
Same you sacrifice some healing that wont be noticeable when enemy has bramble and you miss 10 ad but you get 500 hp extra i take it with domination runes secondary so i have a bit of healing
Since I didn't address Titanic in the video I will use this reply to give my thoughts on the item. Yes, the bonus ad is nice with having large amounts of hp, but the base stats of ad on the item are also lower so it really isn't a huge difference. I know a lot of people don't like that ravenous doesn't heal as much as it used to, but that doesn't mean the healing is useless. The healing is still really good, and you still get vampiric scepter which again helps in early sustain. That brings me to the next point, which the build path of Titanic is really bad. Tiamat is the only real beneficial item to continue Fiora snowballing which is really bad if you are trying to complete the full item which again, wouldn't give you as much ad considering the base ad is lower than Ravenous. The trade-off does not feel worth it, but that is up to the preference of the player how what playstyle they want. I believe Ravenous is still the better of the two.
I mean the combos and stuff are useful but I'm pretty sure theres a new korean build with a huge winrate with essence reaver and shieldbow, correct me if I'm wrong tho. Also me saying this does take away from that fact that I like your vid so much I subbed ;)

Does fiora’ Q prioritize vitals? If I Q a bit far from the champ or there’s a minion in the way would it still hit the vital?

Nope. Single target.
Dont wanna be that guy but u misspelled "recommended" at 10:25
Does the strength of the ultimate heal depend on number of vitals hit? I thought hitting more vitals only changes the duration of heal zone
No you are correct. The strength gets better depending on the level of your ultimate. The duration is affected by how many vitals hit

I think a good Tip To point is when vital is in bad position You can lose vision of your laner so a new vital comes Up

it should be pinned now. UA-cam was having an issue earlier when the video was being posted of unpinning messages.
Wdym Night harvester and Essence reaver, can u link something ?
yeah im trynna see some gameplay of that

Did you know that Sterak's gage Is item actually designed by Czech streamer And youtuber Sterakdary ?
Finally the right item
awsome guide man
