  • In today's video, we’re diving into KPeppers Korean restaurant located between Middleton and Madison. This spot offers a unique fusion of traditional Korean and Asian flavors, but how does it really stack up? Let’s find out! 👇
    Overview:
KPeppers is an open-concept restaurant with several tables and a menu displayed on large signage on the wall. You can also scan a QR code at your table to view the menu online. You have the flexibility to order with the staff or online if you’re in a rush.
    Our Experience:
KPep Signature Chicken Wings $14.00: We tried the KPep signature chicken wings. They were tasty, but at $14 for 6 wings, we felt they were a bit overpriced for what you get.
Beef Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap $20.00: Teai ordered the Beef Bulgogi dolsot bibimbap, which included fusion ingredients like kale, brussels sprouts, and collard greens. Unfortunately, these additions didn’t quite work for us, and we found the dish lacking the traditional flavors we were hoping for.
Can't Decide Which Bulgogi Japchae $21.00: John went for the "Can't Decide Which Bulgogi Japchae." While it didn’t list any unique ingredients, it just wasn’t the Japchae we’re used to, missing that classic taste we love.
    Final Verdict:
Fusion Aspect: If you’re a fan of strictly traditional Korean food, the fusion elements might not be to your taste.
Price: A bit on the pricier side, especially considering portion sizes.
Overall, KPeppers offers a unique take on Korean cuisine with some hits and misses. While the fusion elements didn’t work for us, it might be worth a try if you’re in the area and open to something different. However, we won’t be driving out of our way to visit again.

In the Madison area, we really like 5 Star on E. Washington/Blair Street. We haven’t tried the tabletop grill there, just the normal menu. We also enjoyed New Seoul, though it's been a while since we last visited. We went to Sol on the Square when it first opened, but it’s been quite some time since then.
