BEGINNER'S Guide To REPOSING Miniatures With Amazing Results! Sometimes we make mistakes but often these mistakes open up opportunities to try something new. In this case, I tired to repose part of this Warhammer 40k Space Marine from Games Workshop/Citadel. There's no sculpting involved and was surprisingly easy to pull off. All I can say is that this trick changed EVERYTHING! This is a shorter video than normal, I'm practising my scriptwriting and trying to be more concise with my words. Probably would have scratched abit less and added a few spikes , to show they have spent abit "too much" time in the warp or placing a corpse below him to show he has just concquered a foe and has to move on to the next
@@mrsituation1000 That's a good idea. I didn't want these guys to have too many spikes, but I might do that on some of the other members of the squad. Having a vanquished foe is pretty cool and would add a lot of character to him. I've not made their bases yet so it's still an idea to use.
I am relatively new to making these videos, sometimes I find it difficult to convey my thoughts properly. In what ways does this not change anything, considering this is from the viewpoint of someone who has never reposed a limb before. I am always striving to improve, so if you could provide any specific information then I would be very grateful. Thanks
@@CursedCrusaderArts It's a well-made video and a really cool conversion! The issue is that the thumbnail is a bit click-baity. It implies that it changes things for the *viewer,* as if it were a new conversion technique, when in fact your process is pretty normal. It's a solid tutorial and the end results look great, so you're doing pretty well on that front!
Thank you for the feedback. When I made the thumbnail, I did not consider how it would read to someone else, instead I was caught up in my own excitement. As I said before, I'd not successfully reposed a limb before so it changed everything from my perspective. I can see now how this comes across differently to the viewer as opposed to my own view so I'll work to put more thought into it and do better in the future. Thanks for watching the video and for taking the time to explain to me how to do better. Really appreciate it. 😎

Fantastic advice as always! Your videos give some unorthodox but highly useful tips for the hobby. Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you, I try to think inside the box and use what is right under my nose.
Glad you enjoyed it. 😎
