    Yes, that's awesome that you're paying attention to organizational methods at a young age. Have fun organizing! Wish I had a binder planner when I was your age. Thank you so much!

    Funny how having a Filo just makes things much more fun to work on. It has taken so many tweaks to get the system to a point of true efficiency, but that's one of the cool parts... being able to tweak as much as ya like! Thank goodness for binder planners. 2Do is actually launching a Mac version pretty soon. Ha I love these organize-my-filo offers. Thanks so much!

    I HAVE to tell you how much I enjoyed ALL THREE OF YOUR VIDEOS!! It's rare to find videos that not only catch my attention AND keep my attention....however...I am sincere when I say that you have a very magnetic way of expressing yourself!! It's refreshing to know that my love for such things like post its and little paperclips is shared!!! I can't help it and I am teased (playfully) and misunderstood!!! I encourage you to post more videos! Blessed to have come across your channel! Lizz

    Your videos about filofax are the best. I enjoyed watching them very much! I hope you will continue and answer my questions.

    And not even as busy as it's about to get this semester. One life, one Filofax is the motto. Something that doesn't fit in one area can be simplified in that section and expanded on in another section. Using symbols and abbreviations instead of writing word for word helps too. Always a workaround.

    Love your filofax!! Love all the colour,that really caught my eye.I have a little binder with a zipper that I started using again.So far I made a list of 31 projects I want to do around the house. I took 31 pages and at the top put the tiltle of the project and then I make a list of what I need to do to complete it.I used highlighters to frame the title,and a paper clip to match the highlighter to hold little notes,I never thought to use post its! Thank you for the inspiration!! Love the videos!

    Lol this week definitely. How awesome. I know what you mean, when you've found your insert match, you've found your match! I had my eyes on the FC Monticello one-page-per-day at one point regardless of its wider compact size and clashing dark blue. Sounds like you have a setup vid in store perhaps? ;)

    I do take my filo with me almost everywhere. It's very lightweight so the only thing that may get in the way once in a while is the thickness of it. I use Filofax paper for the notes. All my ruled/white paper is by Filofax. On the site it says the Malden personal organizer ring size is: 7/8". My calendar sections combined have about 70 pages, each of my essential sections has about 5-7 pages and my notes/extras section has about 20 pages.

    I see you've tried so many fun varieties. Hands-down the most i've seen. I'm guessing you've found your fave? It seems when it comes to stylish dividers most people make their own. I haven't seen any pre-made solid color ones yet.

    Wow! Your videos are absolutely a hoot! They're fun, informative and really well done! I love to see what folks do with their Filofaxes and your system is great. Thanks for detailing what you use (stickers, etc) and giving info on where to find them (from Target or Kcompany). I got "2Do" on your recommendation and I think it's going to be just what I need. So will you come organize my crimson Malden, lol????

    Once a week I'll process tasks for the next week: at this time I look through the reoccurring tasks on my phone / notes in my inbox area / lists in my essential sections. Everything that gets a specific date is put in my weekly section, anything that's given a specific time frame is put in my monthly planning section and items that don't have a date assigned yet (aka "someday items") are written in my essential sections.

    So, I ordered a Filofax because it's that time of year again and every single planner I found was totally disappointing in some way and they're getting really expensive anyways. I figured a Filofax would let me break even in a couple years and they're much nicer to use. Anyways, I've been watching tons of the UA-cam videos and yours are my absolute favorite. I think because you nerd out the same way I do! Thanks for showing your system. It's given me tons of ideas.

    Personal Maldens have 23-mm rings, as do Dominos. However, as the Malden (especially in ochre) is made of exceptionally floppy leather, it's much more 'stuffable' than the Domino.

  • @IxiaRayne
    @IxiaRayne 11 років тому

    I just got my first filofax last week. It's a black A5 domino - SO cool.
    I'll definitely use some of your tips! I'm currently getting used to my filofax, but even if I got James (yes, he has a name - I'm a dork, I know, haha) just a week or so, it helped me SO much.
    Being at college makes it really difficult to stay on top of things. :)
    So thank you for your videos! :D

    Filofax Personal pages are 95 mm wide by 171 mm tall, or 3.74" wide by 6.73" tall.
    The Personal Malden is 140 mm wide by 192 mm tall, or 5.5" wide by 7.56" tall.

  • @enjoyette

    Anytime! I made a color map page in my filo where I labeled which color stands for what category (which you can see in the part 1 video). Ex:
    Green reminds me of money: dark green = work / light green = bills
    Blue reminds me of home: dark blue = chores & actions / light blue = recreation
    I love pink and I love my projects: light pink = editing phase / dark pink = posting phase
    Orange is bright and reminds me of the outdoors: orange = errands & events
    Yellow/brown = school and purple = fitness.

  • @enjoyette
    @enjoyette  12 років тому +1

    I bring it with me almost everywhere. It feels pretty lightweight to me, it's just on the thick side.

  • @enjoyette
    @enjoyette  12 років тому +1

    Okay I gotta split this response into three parts because of the character limit. I use my tabs to organize my lists. If they're unorganized, everything becomes overwhelmingly long and cluttered and i'll hardly look at it. I like to look at certain parts of my essential sections almost everyday though I don't have to because everything that needs to be done on a specific day or time frame is already written in my actual planning sections...

    I sure wish they were double sided. They are single sided and I taped them together. Could use double sided tape, but I went for regular since I wanted to be able to adjust them right. I didn't have a filofax hole punch at the time so my standard punches were a bit on the wonky side. Thanks! I plan on it :-)

    Hi! Any new ideas for the coming months?? Year? I finally rec'd my personal Vintage Pink Malden, and I'm soooo in love with her!! I'm using the FC daily planning pages, and even tho they stick out (FC is wider), it doesn't bother me, I'm sooo in love! Lol! I have to admit, I've used some of your ideas, color coding etc!! I love looking at other folks to see how their setup is! Keep the vids coming!!!

  • @enjoyette
    @enjoyette  12 років тому +1

    Hi! Thank you. Do correct me if i'm wrong, are you asking where else do I write everything down? I know all my colors and divisions by heart so it doesn't take up time. Each main section also has an empty page for it's own random notes. If I want to do serious writing for my projects I will use my computer because these here are basically just organized lists of what to get started on.

    How do you use all those tabs (subjects, projects, health etc)? Do you look at every tab every day at the evening?
    Do you carry your filofax with you everywhere? How much does it weight?
    What paper do you use for notes?
    What circumference of rings does your filofax have? How many pages do you have there ( about)?

  • @TheGLOSSette
    @TheGLOSSette 12 років тому

    I have a binder style agenda from Franklin Covey. I like how you made your own dividers I got some scrapbook paper from the same brand you showed (not solid colors) and maybe I can use then as dividers but there is something about filofax inserts or ones of similar brands soo expensive. I don't like making my own cuz I like the premade ones cuz the paper quality is better etc.
