Wow, wow, wow. I own a few Festoon pieces but moving to the platform is just so expensive, BUT, this demo with Wolfgang (wearing a *killer* Festool shirt) helped convince me to invest in a Domino tool, and that table saw is one helluva weapon. Outstanding.
I love these new tools with digital readouts, the precision is outstanding and easy to achieve. Wouldn’t mind getting a production cnc now as the next step, and then making all the plans on the computer to get ready for production!
Fantastic work, beautiful in its simplicity and cleverness! I’m only a DIYer and enthusiast, love tools… and just got known to that Festool table saw… all my gaming gear went for sale the same day, gotta raise some funds
Update: gaming gear gone! Seriously. Form and function I think this table saw is aimed at a very wide range of public, namely people like me with constraints in space, noise and cleaness … the price could bi nicer, but I think it’s worth every cent
As an American I’m very used to working with Germans. Love their accents when speaking English. They are very skilled, knowledgeable and practical. No BS.
What a great video! I felt like I was learning something along with you who already is a master craftsman. Great job on the editing and speeding up the slower parts!
You're should never be above learning. A mastercraftsman handing down his knowledge like it should be. You're a sponge, buddy. Looking forward to the video when you get home.
Ok The new light short video did it. I have had it! My kid is not going to college. I am tapping the fund. You got kids, tools, tractors, did I mention tools? And a wife! She is probably a knock out. What did I do wrong? I hold my masters is technical woodcraft and an Oxford Doctorate in Theology. I thought for sure I had things nailed down. I even LIVED in Germany for TWO YEARS! I used Festool. That’s all there was. This is so unfair. Now I am in a wheelchair with every tool in the book. Not one is red and not one is Festool. Can you call your pals over in Germany and have them send me some free stuff? PLEASE! Good Grief. Plus my dog now has cancer. I don’t ask for much just say 3 routers, a couple of drills, maybe the Kpax saw? Just tell them our families spend Thanksgiving together. Can I drive the track hoe? I need a ramp to get into it. I bet your son is cool. Tell him to go to college and get an Oxford MBA then go to College Of the Sequoias. Then ride on your good name. MAN…. That light pushed me over the edge! Do you even speak German? This is just wrongness. I need a Xanax….
I started with only a few Ryobi tools and a used $200 table saw in my garage and no real knowledge of joinery or furniture making other than what I learned in a high school shop class. I started the business in my garage and had to find ways to build and sell things and try to make a profit. The profit I finally did make I reinvested in better tools and just kept at it for the next 8 years. Now I do have a shop with lots of tools that I love and I love what I do but 8 years ago I had none of these tools and only the very beginning of an understanding of woodwork. So I think it can be relatable to anyone who has a dream and will work towards it.
@@dustylumberco Same here. I'm a pretty old and worn out bloke. I'm starting this as a side activity as a mental healt support. I bought a couple of old worshop leftover machines, restored them, and now I'm trying to figure out how to use them. I don't care where this is going as long as I have my main job running. I find yours and other pro videos a godsend to learn stuff and turn it in actual work. Thanks.
Very impressive! And also it was a pleasure to see two professionals from different parts of the world work together
I enjoyed my trip to Germany and this amazing opportunity

Fascinating! 👋👋👋 And those joints are NEVER coming apart ... totally brilliant!!!🏆

That table saw is so cute. I might get one for my 9 month old niece for Christmas.
