Hey great content man keep it up. I love dinosaurs and Jurassic park as well I thoroughly enjoyed the sequel trilogy. I just wish they would do a spin off or a completely new Dino franchise where we could see some better Dino action. I would like to have seen giga hunt Argentinasarus or trex hunt a trike. The Hollywood pazazz is cool and all but an accurate depiction of dinosaurs back in the day would be cooler to me. A time traveler movie would be cool. I just need the super high quality special effects that Legendary brings to the table, to be put towards the most accurate depictions of what we know about Dinosaurs

I actually wouldn’t mind a Primeval style show with a “monster of the week” format where characters have to deal with a new dinosaur threat in a post-Dominion world. I do agree, dinosaurs in our world were sort of squandered in the film and this would give us an opportunity to see characters having to cope with those ramifications on an episodic basis. There would also be plenty of room to introduce new characters and include the old ones; Kayla could come back as transport, Maisie could take up the mantle of rescuing the dinosaurs for Claire, and you could even bring back old legacy characters like Tim as a now grown paleontological advisor following in the footsteps of Alan Grant. Although I do agree that I would love to see prequels and stories that take place between the films, I still think there’s a lot of potential to be mined from the direction Trevorrow took his trilogy.
A new Primeval-esque series is something I've wanted for a long time and a post-Dominion/midquel between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion would be the perfect opportunity for streaming series akin to The Mandalorian.
Again, a prequel that just focus on the Dinosaurs in the past, 65 million years ago and not such so much of the humans other than telling a flashback story in a life of pi green mile kinda style.
I don't think that the lack of threat in Dominion means that they shouldn't make any post-Dominion films. I think that the issue with Dominion was execution and premise. Battle at Big Rock showed that a post Dominion world can still be threatening if done right. I think that in order to do so though, they ironically have to scale things down and focus on a few characters in a limited setting again and not be afraid to kill them off. This formula has worked well in the past and should continue to work well if done properly. Expand the general premise and atmosphere of Battle at Big Rock out to a feature length film or streaming series, and I think that there's real promise there, especially since a feature length version of Battle at Big Rock is probably what most people originally expected to get after Fallen Kingdom. The one bonus with an anthology style streaming series is that they can kill characters off without worrying about how to continue their stories in later installments.
They just need to scale back stuff. Every scene doesn't need to be a fast paced action sequence or a massive exposition dump. One my favourite scenes in the saga is Alan and Eric in the abandoned trailer and Alan's astronauts and astronomers dialogue on the boat.

Mosasaur should be first. We saw her footages in the promo all the time and it turns up to be her whole screentime in FK+Dominion. So much potential but so underused

I can imagine that Sarah Harding would absolutely be apart of the DFW. Same goes for Nick considering how much he opposed dinosaurs being taken off the mainland. I could see Lex and Tim also being there, Lex being logistics and Tim just being a dinosaur expert mirroring Grant

If we get anymore live action Jurassic Park installments. I want it to be it’s own thing. You can do it like a mini series that faithfully follows the novel. Make it rated R.
Prequels would be great to plug in the gaps, but I would also love to see a 'Dinosaur Dundee' type idea; someone who, for one reason or another, has had to survive in the wilderness on their own with dinosaur danger all around and has got to know how dinos behave and stuff, up close...Granted, Camp Cretaceous touched on that with Ben, and we have a 'practical case study' with Owen and the Velociraptors, but I'm thinking more Mick Dundee level with a wider knowledge of these creatures; being able to tell the time just be where the sun is; that kind of level...I know it may be a silly idea, but just something fun to throw out there. ^^ Regardless, whatever they do, making (a) dinosaur(s) the driving force of the narrative is imperative XD
It would be nice to see a 1-to-1 adaptation of the novel with all the dark elements, plus the blood and guts: compies eating babies; Nedry grabbing his own intestines; Muldoon using a rocket launcher to turn raptors into ropa vieja; the contusions on Malcolm's torso showing how the T. rex picked him up and shook him but didn't bite down; etc. I want to see all that grit that gave me nightmares as a kid from reading the book.
There's very little probability that there could be a netflix live action show on Jurassic.. but just look at Stranger Things, if there's a way to make people appreciate this franchise in this age it's only possible through a long detailed episodic show with great characters and strong material
Honestly, I would love to see an anthology series with shorter movies like Battle at Big Rock. Give us scary herbivores, maybe more feathers or a Jaws like movie with the Mosasaur. There is so much potential, it would be a shame to just get another movie trilogy.
I really appreciated that 'Dominion' ended with a full stop, cause that's not how franchises operate these days. Every Marvel movie feels like a set up for something else. Even 'Endgame' ended with sequel bait. The 'Jurassic World' trilogy told a three act story from beginning to end. Dinosaurs returned to planet earth and life found a way to make to all work in harmony. The End. The only problem is, that's the end of the story and any further sequels would just be going against the point. Dinosaurs would have to be a threat again, and there goes the harmony out the window. It would also show the limits of Jurassic as a franchise. It'd feel like the same thing over & over & over. I don't know how you'd write a sequel to 'Dominion'. I suppose there could be a plot about people exterminating dinosaurs worldwide and our heroes trying to stop them, but that's just rehashing past material (and the last two Transformers movies already did that plot). Prequels would be kinda pointless and while they'd appeal to hardcore fans, I can't see the mainstream lining up for it. If it were up to me, we'd be getting 'Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park' - a 10 episode R-rated adaptation of the novel on HBO Max, which would then lead to 'Michael Crichton's The Lost World'. That'd be my dream. Not gonna happen though cause they need to sell toys and an R-rated show wouldn't fit that. I really have no clue what they're gonna do next but am anxious to see...
For me personally, here’s what I wanted for the future Jurassic franchise: 1. A live action spin-off series with a semi-futuristic setting where cities with renewable energy merged with nature without disturbing the local wildlife showing how humans became part of the world’s ecosystem helping modern-day and prehistoric animals, including the T-Rexes as apex predators, while the story heavily inspired Cadillacs and Dinosaurs where the DPW hire a protagonist to hunt down poachers and eco-terrorists disrupting ecosystems due to their own beliefs, while protecting the wildlife. 2. On-screen adaptations of Evolution of Claire and Maisie Lockwood’s Adventures to show more of the lore to the general audience similar to Camp Cretaceous, possibly an anime or 2D animated spin-off series, first time in the franchise. 3. And lastly a Trespasser remake where it’s an open world game where Anne stranded on Sorna, encountering dinosaurs accurate to InGen’s list and treated like animals, hostile mercenaries from illegal genetics company, and secrets of InGen, including Hammond’s relationship with Lockwood, and the Amalgam Testing breeding four new species you’ve seen in JP3, the quilled animalistic Velociraptors, and a Super-Raptor acted out as the final boss.
Honestly, who wouldn’t wanna see more from this awesome million-making franchise after Jurassic World Dominion and Camp Cretaceous Season 5? I’d wanna see a new series or short/spinoff film of dinosaurs that are on InGen’s List but were not seen (like Suchomimus, Metriacanthosaurus and Edmontosaurus). Also nice new animations!

It’s gonna be interesting to see how the franchise will expand and go after Dominion; in terms of spin-off, sequels, prequels or whatever they have planning. The one thing I want to see come out from the franchise is an adaptation of the original Jurassic Park and Lost World novels by Michael Crichton and make it into a series or something for Netflix or whichever streaming service is willing to adapt it; I think it would be very cool to see something much, much darker and more gruesome in its depictions of animal violence, the idea of control, paleontology, theory on chaos and idealistic view of hubris than what we have been able to see so far on screen.
I wish we could get an animated series that covers the novels without cutting any content. Having every chapter of the books, being and episode of the series. Animation would be the best for it, instead of the live action. Not 3D animation of course
I would love an adaptation of “The Evolution of Claire” book. Its set before the opening of Jurassic world and has a good cover up, espionage type vibe. At least for me a Jurassic film centered around the secrecy of the cloning technology would be great.

i think the best way for the prequels to be successful is with a live action show with multiple seasons! We definitely need prequels, however i fee the general public is currently burnt out on Jurassic movies for now. universal should take Disney’s approach on Star Wars by adding TV shows. And hold off on any new movie for many years…
With Dominion, it really feels like the studio has clipped the flaws and fangs of the franchise by keeping the dinosaur violence and human kill count so limited. Whether they were afraid of some kind of backlash over the whole Zara BS, or were so afraid to take any risks that they made something TOO SAFE to succeed as a high stakes finale. I think the chances of Universal putting this franchsie to bed is almost nonexistant, even if they have run themselves into a rough patch with Dominion's critical reception. Its hard to tell if that's on the studio being craven or Trevorrow really losing his energy from 2015. Standalone movies taking place in the movie universe with more modest scopes and a back to basics approach, with television series showing dinosaurs on the American mainland seems like a clear direction. DeWanda and Mamadou, and maybe Jake Johnson would be solid leads in either a movie of a series. Bayona brought a phenomenal vision to Fallen Kingdom, but with his hands tied up with Amazon's frankly disappointing looking Lord of the Rings series, who knows?
I think this could help, but I think Universal should at least give this franchise a few years of a break because I think the franchise is going through franchise fatigue at this point.
if jurassic were to ever have any spin off tv show, one idea that might be worth trying is something a bit like the mandolorian in tone but with the character of kayla watts. (which btw, i really love her character) Especially because her kind of character is exactly the kind who might travel around the world in her new plane, taking different jobs and such. Just now, she's maybe trying to shut down certain operations by people similar to Soyona Santos, remaining currpt indiduals of biosyn or even mantah corp (if they are still around) or heck, maybe other groups from other countries and regions we NEVER seen before. I mean with a WHOLE WORLD to explore and such, there's so many stories you could tell with this format

I personally think that they should do a prequel trilogy that gives us a look at, for example: Why Sorna was abandoned or a story about survivors left on the island after its abandonedment, a prequel to the the first Jurassic Park from a worker's POV that would show the different trials and errors to creating dinosaurs and give us a perspective different from the clean, white labs and decorative buildings and show a more rugged and unsanitary living standards that both the workers and dinosaurs were forced to live in, and/or the first steps of the construction of Jurassic World with showimg different worker stories throughout the movie with scenes such as retrieving dinosaurs from Sorna and recapturing/killing off the surviving dinosaurs that were left from Jurassic Park so many years ago.
Would be cool if they made a movie about dinosaurs being used in a war like they wanted with inominus rex and indoraptor, although I think I rex is too big for modern warfare but indoraptor would be useful
Here’s what I want to see in future Jurassic World movies: 1. More T-Rexes (Rexy, Buck & Doe, Big Eatie & Little Eatie, or a brand new T-Rex). 2. Bring the Spinosaurus back in live action. 3. Add some more aquatics (Plesiosaurus, Elasmosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Liopleurodon, Predator X, Tylosaurus, Opthalmosaurus, etc). 4. Go back to the islands in a sequel or prequel film. Bonus: Bring Back Nick Van Owen, Sarah Harding, Billy Brennan, and the Kirby’s.
I feel that something we really haven’t seen in a Dominion or any of the Jurassic films is how are the wild prehistoric species impacting or effecting the native ecosystems they’ve been unleashed upon. Like how are they literally changing the biological landscape (forests, plains, rural and suburban communities) both directly and indirectly? And how are these new environments effecting them in return? And of course what are people and corporations doing with the cloned species? Hunter reserves? Agriculture? Pharmaceuticals? We barely had that touched upon too. Those could easily be plots or subplot arcs for a TV series or film.
Since technology is what helped bring back the dinosaurs the people of that universe could also realize new technology to help protect them from the more dangerous ones. Think of gated in human communities such as the one in Terra Nova.
I want to see some prequels, either as movies or a tv series. I want to know how John Hammond created Jurassic Park or how Simon Masrani created Jurassic world, maybe some cameos from dinos we haven’t seen in the series before
That would be best, set films between The Lost World and Jurassic World. Tell the story of how InGen continued experimenting in secret and Masrani Global got the functioning park started.
Klayton you hit it on the nail re: JP1 & Lost World aesthetics. The movies have never looked or felt the same, since. I’d love to see the story get back into a real jungle full-time (no jungle backlots at Universal Studios, like in JP3). To further accomplish the feel of the first 2 movies, they should 1) slow down the characters’ dialogue to establish our investment in them, so that we genuinely care whether they survive a dinosaur attack. 2) build some actual anticipation before dino confrontations (like original t-rex scene).
They should make a spinoff show centered around Site B. Around JP3 & Lost world, explaining why everything is abandoned now and showing what went wrong. Could incorporate the spinosaurus as well.
Personally, I want for there to be a live-action miniseries that takes place after "Jurassic World 3: Dominion" and brings together all of the major surviving characters from the previous 6 films, and the Isla Nublar 6(AKA the Camp Fam) from "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous". What the story would be, I don't know, but it should start out with some sort of conference or event that involves all of the survivors of the Isla Nublar & Isla Sorna incidents talking about their experiences on said islands. That's the only way that I can think of for all of those characters to be brought together, but I really want to see it happen! It would be so awesome! And, with it being a miniseries instead of a movie, it would allow for more time to see all of these characters together in the same story.
I would love to see some in-between movies, similar to Rogue One and Solo (A Star Wars Story) as like a pre-main storyline side stories. Incorporate the Spinosaurus and its lore. Give the Mosasaurus a JAWS-like ocean movie like how they did The Meg film or a canon Netflix series with the focus on Blue and Beta. Camp Cretaceous I do not really consider canon, but I want to see something more serious than what we got.
To be fair, sequels can really only go one of three places from here: 1) people in the middle of nowhere have to deal with dinosaur(s) 2) a major city has to deal with dinosaur(s) 3) someone weaponizes dinosaurs in an armed conflict or assassination attempt I also find it hard to imagine them continuing this story in a realistic way without it being very plot heavy &, by proxy, less dino centric- basically, it turns into PG-13 The Walking Dead, but with dinosaurs. Who knows what those people are plotting, though.
I would honestly like to see a movie or project showing what happened to the dinosaurs on Isla Sorna. They could bring back Henry Wu and Hoskins and just show what happened. Maybe just a show showing them bringing all the dinosaurs into the JW theme park. They could show the beginning of the I-rex and her sister as well as the start of the Scorpius Rex. Isla Sorna is just the biggest mystery in the JP franchise and I've wanted answers for so long. Maybe even show something about Cite C. I also would like to see more of how the dinosaurs r reacting and living in today's ecosystems. Like how they react to other animals and stuff. We saw some of this in Dominion but not much. I think it'd be cool as like a documentary series. Like one episode could be with Rexy, another about Blue and Beta, another about the Mosasaurus in the ocean, etc. Something else I think I would enjoy personally would be something to expand on the forest surrounding Biosyn. The animals and the dinosaurs co-existing, how they got rexy there, how they got the Bull and Doe T-Rexes from JP2 their, and just the other dinosaurs their. I have alot of ideas lol
Id love to see a remake of trespasser, think with today's tech I do believe the can capture the games original concept and improve it. Hell a survior horror game for JP is still a must for me. Tired of park builders, I want a game where they cover older lore or newer where we are forced to fight or flight from the dinosaurs. Id love it if they made games in the original JP era like that, the tell tale game was good but was a tease for what it could of been.
This just kind of hit me but I love the idea! "Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park", a R rated miniseries true to the book. I've wanted this for awhile but as movie. I realize that as a movie people would hate it, it would ruin the wonder of the original, but as a show I think it could pull huge interest and wide appeal for adult fans familiar and unfamiliar with the book. Netflix is in tremendous need of original shows with Ozark ending and Stranger Things wrapping up. Everyone would subscribe for JP. Built in sequel as well, "Michael Crichton's, The Lost World." It would be cool if we could see a series about The creation of the Indoraptor. It could start with the hybrid hatching and they could even incorporate to the deleted electrician scene. Maybe even have the ending show the body and eggs sold at the Malta Market. Mills and Doctor Wu would return since the series would be set around early 2017 and a month before the events of Fallen Kingdom.
I'd would love to see a series take place between 2002 and 2015 showing the construction and development of Jurassic World. I also wouldn't mind seeing shows based of the Jurassic Park comics. Oooo how about one of a freelance journalist who snoopes around Sorna and Nublar during the construction of Jurassic World and the bad stuff they were doing on Site B. The journalist character can start off as money hungry but once he sees the beauty and mistreatment of the animals he becomes good and advocates against the opening of the park but is ultimately unsuccessful
Here’s my opinion on where they should go: - Wait 10-20 years and then reboot the franchise. - Instead of films they should make a mini series based on both novels, roughly 6-9 hour long episodes in length. - Have them follow the novels faithfully.

I would love for the TV series to look into any "accidents" that occurred while the original site was being built. Heck you could even include some Biosyn mercs or spies going to Site B only to end up as Dino lunch. And for the new movies, they need to pull a "Rogue One" to give a bit more momentum to the franchise
I think a lot of people, including me feels...tired of the franchise at least a bit, if they really want to keep the movies going, they need to have a plan, and maybe wait some years, I don't see Jurassic having the potential Marvel or Star Wars have... there's a limit at which the Jurassic franchise would start feeling more stale over time...
More or less where I'm at. I don't mind if they do side projects or series for the JP universe, but having more movies just seems like a waste for both the IP and budgets.
We need more books, novels and video games since the Jurassic franchise (in fact all franchises) continued making stories from those materials rather than just movies.
I'm so glad to see the Planet of the Apes trilogy mentioned, it's criminally underrated. I think a streaming series like with Star Wars holds a lot of potential but for now it would be good idea to let the franchise rest in terms of movies (as much as I was disappointed by Dominion I would be fine with it as the final installment). The only exception would be short films akin to Battle at Big Rock; one idea I've had for a while is a short spinoff focused on the Mosasaurus battling a Pliosaurus/Kronosaurus at an undersea research station for a dark underwater action sequence. The one area with the most untapped potential is video games beyond the park-simulator mold. A Warpath remake would be especially interesting now that dinosaurs like Indominus rex and Giganotosaurus have entered the canon.
Site B needs to be explored and looked at. It’s demise, mystery, and overall lack of coverage in the movies is so interesting! Also, Dominion shits all over Fallen Kingdom. FK is by far the worst of the 6, it brought nothing to the series and too much of it took place during the auction and mansion with another “man made Dino”. If the movie focused on getting Dino’s off the island, the cast having survive against its elements and Dino’s, and then having the island explode (maybe even killing off one of the main characters) at the end would have been so much better.
I disagree, I found ore enjoyment out of Fallen Kingdom. It’s horror vibes with a genius indoraptor was fascinating to me. This might sound dumb, but Dominion might be a better Jurassic Park addition, but Fallen Kingdom was a better… uhm… movie? Lol

There’s so much potential with Isla Sorna post JP3. We have a whole ass spinosaurus there after the movie ended. Perhaps a plot could be a flashback to exploring site B then Rexy gets relocated and encounters the spino and finally takes down that monster.

This was hardly touched in dominion, so to get to see modern animals coexisting with dinosaurs and explore the question of: “Can humans and dinosaurs Coexist” instead of just saying they can

I don’t think exploring beyond Dominion’s ending shouldn’t be ruled out completely. Jurassic Films have always found ways to tell new stories that we didn’t really consider at the conclusion of the previous movie. I do think Nostalgia is a good method but not the only one they can do. I’d actually like to see a series were Maisie is the lead someday. For right now I do think it’s best to let the main films series rest, maybe do a few prequel shows in the meantime and pick the movies up again later.
Here's what I think the next story should sort of be about. Soyona Santos who went to jail in Dominion breaks free by using the Atrociraptors, and then she starts over Biosyn on one of the 5 Death Islands(Site B would be best). Then, she captures dinosaurs under the amalgam testing like the Spinosaurus and creates more dinosaurs so that she can smuggle and sell them. But realizing the main cast would stop them eventually, she sort of masks Biosyn under another name and then invites Grant, Sattler, Malcolm, Owen, Claire, and Wu to visit the Island. She fakes the Island to them as a sanctuary as she has the chip that controls the dinosaurs' brains so that tourists won't get attacked by dinosaurs, but she uses the chip to get the dinosaurs closer to our cast and attacks them. The main dinosaur would be the Spinosaurus and since he knows there are some species found nowhere else on Earth, he would be skeptical of this Island but then santos and her team capture our cast. The cast's goal should be to break free from this trap and then leave the island to expose this fake sanctuary. Also, they should stop making the Trex look bad in these films and have it overpower at least one carnivorous dinosaur the same size or bigger than itself.
I hope they make another Jurassic Park movie sometime in the future after Dominion and I agree that some of the cast members probably won't return but all the other cast members that played the First Second Third Fourth and Fifth movies should return Sometime if they do come back
If I were able to make a Jurassic continuation, I’d make it a Netflix series called “Jurassic World: Species Division”, named after the CIA division seen in Dominion. The plot of the show would be based around Barry, Lowrey, Vivian, Franklin, Zia, and Kayla exploring the dinosaur black market around the world and stopping growing crime lords from building their dinosaur-controlled crime empire.
Plot idea for next. Kinda carrying on from Dominion. A giant fenced 'sanctuary' is built around the biosyn dinosaur area. Rich people pay to hunt dinosaurs which are just left to live as they would. Only one hunt every month is allowed and it's very expensive. One of these hunts goes wrong. Rest is survival while trying to escape. Basic plot but could be fleshed out to a decent storyline
I think the series could do something very smart around the consequences of animal abuse and the COVID-19 pandemic by using the DX disease from The Lost World and make it contagious to humans. Of course China would be furious about it, but it would be a great idea, all of this disaster was caused by the trade and consumption of exotic animals, so why wouldn't use that? The idea of combating the illegal dinosaur market sounds good. During the premiere of Dominion in Mexico there was a talk with Colin Trevorrow and part of the cast, and they mentioned the possibility of a film directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and a spin-off lead by DeWanda Wise. I think this is a good idea! I'd like to see Kayla Watts, Soyona Santos, or Barry Sembène back, or maybe some minor characters from previous movies, like Gray and Zach Mitchell. I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe we also need to reduce the number of dinosaurs to focus on a single conflict, and also reduce the conflict itself, which I think would have been a good thing for JP 3, that instead of going back to the island he would have sat on the dinosaurs escaping to Costa Rica like at the end of the first novel.
I personally have no problem with franchise continuing because Dominion left me satisfied and an open door, my only request is the possibility of having a tv series be set between JP3 and JW. Or to have it set between JW Fallen Kingdom and Dominion to make up for the lack of kills and to show the struggles of dinosaurs in our world.

I know what they could do! After the locusts story they could do one on bugs that killing trees and there could be some dinos in in the story to but mainly it's about saving trees from tree killing bugs.
I would like to see a post dominion movie with a lost world feel of a team getting put on a mission to make an extensive dossier of all the dinosaurs loose in the world. To catalog them and transport them to Biosyn valley or wherever. Having to save some separate places from some carnivores they end up capturing, etc. I don’t even need a big movie villain personally… Just good scenes with the right amount of tension from them being hunted, or encounters with angry herbivores and things like that would honestly be more interesting. With some grand plan for the valley, or the dinosaurs for future installment to aspire to. Giving it that first Jurassic Park, “John Hammond’s Dream” feel of something amazing you are waiting to see throughout the movie and/or for sequels. I think a grounded trilogy started off like that would be good if they decided to try and redeem themselves after this one.
I would really like to see Matt Reeves gives his own take on Jurassic,he’s more than proven himself as a director with both Dawn and War of the Planet of the Apes,as well The Batman.
If they ever make a Post- Dominion Jurassic movie, I think it should be a modern day western (Neo-western) with horror elements. Have it take place in one location similar to M. Night Shyamalan's Signs and make the dinosaurs scary.

It would be kinda interesting to see Bryce Dallas Howard take the role as director for the next jurassic movie. Although at that point I feel like a dark, gory, live-action TV show would work better for now. Maybe a new trilogy in a few years, but a TV show with a few seasons could give us the time and story telling that we NEED in order to get a proper sequel to dominion. I don't think a 2-3 hours movie can do that. Edit: if we do get prequels, I really, really REALLY hope they are Jurassic World sequels not Jurassic Park sequels, because they could mess up BIG TIME if they try to create a prequel story for the classic OG movie. I don't wanna see that. Something between JP3 and JW would be super cool tho.
A modern retelling of Moby Dick with the Mosasaur would be cool, using the ocean to give the film a sense of dread and loneliness, while also exploring themes such as greed, the folly of man, and vengeance!
my biggest wish would be a live action TV series set during the opening and running of Jurassic world. You could follow staff or dino vets as they deal with arguments about cloning, what DNA to use based on what they have witnessed in the current population of the park. You could have a few seasons of this where you become attached to the characters and watch as they run the park with the gradual build-up to the I-Rex where a few could object to the breeding of the I-Rex, this would allow us to see the I-Rex eating its sibling. I would want the tone of the series to be really grounded and play out like a Drama, alternatively I would like it to be a Sudo-Documentary where they are following the park workers and behind the scenes, a bit lit the Monkey Business TV show where the follow the day to day running of the Monkey Business Sanctuary. It would have a bitter sweet feel as you get attached to individual dinosaurs and the workers of the park knowing full well they are slowly heading for the I-Rex break out. I would Like them to take this even further and give it a haunting and dark ending to the series, maybe the Documentary types turn into documenting the fall of the park as they try to get to the evacuation point with them dying on main street, they drop the camera which continues to roll until the T-Rex bursts through the Spino skeleton, where the Spino Skull lands in front of the camera representing the death of the park and the last thing we see is that skull as we hear the Indo and T-Rex roar before the battery dies and the camera cuts to black
Man I gotta be honest. After this trilogy, I’m done. This last movie was a mess and they doubled down on what didn’t work. Also in the end, I thought it was funny as hell that 9 people were being crammed into a craft that only fits like 5 max
I would love to see something along the lines of trespasser. Start from there and move forward with the JP timeline. Hopefully they can get away with rewriting cannon that was madly butchered by the JW series. Or at least flush out the dark spots in the JW timeline with this series. I liked the idea of Billy being the first person to effectively bond with a raptor pack, that should definitely be explored. You can stay within the realm of both timelines since there is so much left open to interpretation. They've done a good job with that. The barbasol can is still sitting in the tunnels too. They never expanded on it which makes me think that's how they're going to revive the series again. I would also like if they went the complete opposite direction and built off Dominion by showing a world nearly overrun with Dinosaurs, showing the hubris of man thinking they could coexist with creatures that are separated by 66 million years of evolution. I would love to see that too. I guess it's kinda like the new planet of the apes. Heck they could even be trying to weaponize a virus to kill Dinos and that's why they are having such an easy time overtaking society. The virus could've broken out and only killed humans instead of dinosaurs which left tons of room for their populations to explode. It really is up in there imho, I have no clue where they plan on going with it. Just gonna have pay closer attention to trends in Hollywood as they usually is the indicator of how a series will reboot itself for a new generation
Possible idea: Revisit the Jurassic Park: The Game. You know, the one revolving around the embryo can, had the Tylosaurus, and the Troodons. Either make a movie version of that(there'd have to be some editing, like the ultimate fate of the Barbasol can) or carry those ideas(especially the troodons) into a prequal that involves the building of Jurassic World. Imagine you have the workers coming in, trying to clear land for the park and getting terrorized by Rexy, dilophosaurus, troodons, and more. What you guys think?

My list of things I'd like to see next: - John Hammond/Jurassic Park Creation prequel - Operational Jurassic World series - Dodgson/ Biosyn Tresspasser style film - Stand alone R rated horror - Stand alone Mosasaur film - Battle at Big Rock style mini series/ anthology series about post Fallen Kingdom world. I'd liked to see a far future Trilogy in the JP/JW universe. I want to see how having dinosaurs around shapes humanity's future. But I also think we need to see these other things first.
I'd like to see a prequel to Jurassic Park. The first attempts to clone dinosaurs, the first experiences with their behavior, the building of the park and Site B ... that would be enough material for either a new trilogy or a live-action TV series, starting in the 80s and going up to '93. Isabella Sermon (Maisie's actress) could return as Charlotte Lockwood, while characters like John Hammond, Benjamin Lockwood, and Henry Wu would have to be played by new, younger actors.
I would love for the franchise to go down a Planet of The Apes kind of route where humans gets infected with some dino virus that wipes out most of humanity and what is left has to live along side dinos, but without any modern amenities.
I love a good Jurassic movie, but I don’t want them to make more just for the sake of it. I honestly don’t want them to make any more movies, I think the series has concluded itself well enough and I really don’t want to see a whole new cast that just throws all the characters we know and love away. If they do make more, I would at least hope they continue to use the legacy cast and Owen and Claire or prequels
Here's the Prequel story I want to see; Set it in 1994. Focus on Dr. Richard Levine investigating "Aberrant forms" washing up on the beaches of Costa Rica, leading to the discovery of Isla Nublar. Have it at a time when Dodgeson is still trying to obtain InGen genetic material and use it to get the shaving cream back. Also use it to adapt all the stuff from the novel of The Lost World that was never otherwise adapted. End it with Levine barely escaping with his life and confronting Malcolm with what he discovered, convincing Malcolm to go public with what happened in the park.
I really keep hoping or a prequel series, wit a first season based before the opening of Jurassic Park, the beginnings with a young Lockwood and Hammond, and then Lockwood's daughter visiting the park before everything went to hell. And a second season based around the building and opening of Jurassic World, the hiring of Hoskins and Owen, capturing Rexy, and the park functioning and operating normally in the end.
I think a series about barry,nick van Owen and other jp characters not seen in fallen kingdom dealing with the events of fallen kingdom and how they will handle the dinosaurs would be really cool to see
In my mind there are 3 options: 1. Full scale reboot. To me this is the least likely option. 2. Full shutdown. No more jurassic movies. 3. A continuation with returning characters reduced to cameos.

Okay, hear me out. I believe a series set in the aftermath of Jurassic World: Dominion would work. Small stories of different people tackling the world with dinosaurs around I think would work just fine, with a variation of tone. I don't think it needs to be connected to the main plot of the movies, and The Mandalorian followed this (to my knowledge). Maybe have an episode where someone is hunting with raptors, one where illicit actions are done with them (similar to a certain scene in Dominion), some episode where a group worships them, etc. I think an episode where it's the JP Kitchen scene as the basis would be awesome, and any other ideas are welcomed.
I'd like to see more of the campers. Like maybe how they reacted to the dinosaurs coming on land. I know that not many people know about Camp Cretaceous, but seeing how people reacted to dinosaurs is pretty interesting.
I want them to make a movie like fallen kingdom style. Where people go on an expedition deep in the Brazilian rainforest looking for lost treasure while being hunted by an unknown creature(s). They run into other Dino all the while, but there is a creature unknown to them in the area. Make sorta like jaws. With the heightened music when it’s approaching but no one ever sees it. Like the night terror in the show PRIMAL. Have dewanda wise be the lead with a couple new characters. One knows about and researches Dinos and another ancient civilizations. Plus their crew. They can be followed by some tomb raiders and or that Evil company in dominion. Then they all have to work together at the end to save them selfs when the creature has picked everyone else off.
I use to think jurassic world fallen kingdom was to tame in its kills but someone pointed out during wheatley's death scene, they managed to fit into a few frames the indoraptor tearing his entire calf muscle off. It was in the background and q very far away shot which wasnt the main focus which i give props to is a very clever way to fit in something so brutal and gorey in a pg movie and the best kill to me in the entire franchise because of it.
Jurassic Park survive: a saw style horror movie where a billionaire got his hands on different gene sequences to populate his own reserve. He kidnaps people to be put all around and they have to survive by making their way to the center of the reserve but the whole thing is mostly populated by carnivores. I can imagine someone sneaking around raptors or something and then being swiped up by a rex. Would never be made because they try and keep it family friendly but holy crap a horror movie in this universe would be insane
Would be neat to see a series based directly off the two books. Scene for scene, word for word, including the animal violence. Call it "Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park" and "Michael Crichton's The Lost World". That way, you're not fighting to get a whole novel within a 2 hour movie. Just have maybe 12 episodes or so, each being a hour long per novel. As for future films, prequels and in-between films would be a great idea. To flesh out more of what happened before or after the main films would be nice.

I actually wouldn’t mind a Primeval style show with a “monster of the week” format where characters have to deal with a new dinosaur threat in a post-Dominion world. I do agree, dinosaurs in our world were sort of squandered in the film and this would give us an opportunity to see characters having to cope with those ramifications on an episodic basis. There would also be plenty of room to introduce new characters and include the old ones; Kayla could come back as transport, Maisie could take up the mantle of rescuing the dinosaurs for Claire, and you could even bring back old legacy characters like Tim as a now grown paleontological advisor following in the footsteps of Alan Grant. Although I do agree that I would love to see prequels and stories that take place between the films, I still think there’s a lot of potential to be mined from the direction Trevorrow took his trilogy.

A new Primeval-esque series is something I've wanted for a long time and a post-Dominion/midquel between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion would be the perfect opportunity for streaming series akin to The Mandalorian.
Again, a prequel that just focus on the Dinosaurs in the past, 65 million years ago and not such so much of the humans other than telling a flashback story in a life of pi green mile kinda style.
I don't think that the lack of threat in Dominion means that they shouldn't make any post-Dominion films. I think that the issue with Dominion was execution and premise. Battle at Big Rock showed that a post Dominion world can still be threatening if done right. I think that in order to do so though, they ironically have to scale things down and focus on a few characters in a limited setting again and not be afraid to kill them off. This formula has worked well in the past and should continue to work well if done properly. Expand the general premise and atmosphere of Battle at Big Rock out to a feature length film or streaming series, and I think that there's real promise there, especially since a feature length version of Battle at Big Rock is probably what most people originally expected to get after Fallen Kingdom. The one bonus with an anthology style streaming series is that they can kill characters off without worrying about how to continue their stories in later installments.

They just need to scale back stuff. Every scene doesn't need to be a fast paced action sequence or a massive exposition dump. One my favourite scenes in the saga is Alan and Eric in the abandoned trailer and Alan's astronauts and astronomers dialogue on the boat.

Prequels would be great to plug in the gaps, but I would also love to see a 'Dinosaur Dundee' type idea; someone who, for one reason or another, has had to survive in the wilderness on their own with dinosaur danger all around and has got to know how dinos behave and stuff, up close...Granted, Camp Cretaceous touched on that with Ben, and we have a 'practical case study' with Owen and the Velociraptors, but I'm thinking more Mick Dundee level with a wider knowledge of these creatures; being able to tell the time just be where the sun is; that kind of level...I know it may be a silly idea, but just something fun to throw out there. ^^
Regardless, whatever they do, making (a) dinosaur(s) the driving force of the narrative is imperative XD
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost World.
It would be nice to see a 1-to-1 adaptation of the novel with all the dark elements, plus the blood and guts: compies eating babies; Nedry grabbing his own intestines; Muldoon using a rocket launcher to turn raptors into ropa vieja; the contusions on Malcolm's torso showing how the T. rex picked him up and shook him but didn't bite down; etc. I want to see all that grit that gave me nightmares as a kid from reading the book.
There's very little probability that there could be a netflix live action show on Jurassic.. but just look at Stranger Things, if there's a way to make people appreciate this franchise in this age it's only possible through a long detailed episodic show with great characters and strong material

I really appreciated that 'Dominion' ended with a full stop, cause that's not how franchises operate these days. Every Marvel movie feels like a set up for something else. Even 'Endgame' ended with sequel bait. The 'Jurassic World' trilogy told a three act story from beginning to end. Dinosaurs returned to planet earth and life found a way to make to all work in harmony. The End.
The only problem is, that's the end of the story and any further sequels would just be going against the point. Dinosaurs would have to be a threat again, and there goes the harmony out the window. It would also show the limits of Jurassic as a franchise. It'd feel like the same thing over & over & over. I don't know how you'd write a sequel to 'Dominion'. I suppose there could be a plot about people exterminating dinosaurs worldwide and our heroes trying to stop them, but that's just rehashing past material (and the last two Transformers movies already did that plot). Prequels would be kinda pointless and while they'd appeal to hardcore fans, I can't see the mainstream lining up for it. If it were up to me, we'd be getting 'Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park' - a 10 episode R-rated adaptation of the novel on HBO Max, which would then lead to 'Michael Crichton's The Lost World'. That'd be my dream. Not gonna happen though cause they need to sell toys and an R-rated show wouldn't fit that. I really have no clue what they're gonna do next but am anxious to see...
For me personally, here’s what I wanted for the future Jurassic franchise:
1. A live action spin-off series with a semi-futuristic setting where cities with renewable energy merged with nature without disturbing the local wildlife showing how humans became part of the world’s ecosystem helping modern-day and prehistoric animals, including the T-Rexes as apex predators, while the story heavily inspired Cadillacs and Dinosaurs where the DPW hire a protagonist to hunt down poachers and eco-terrorists disrupting ecosystems due to their own beliefs, while protecting the wildlife.
2. On-screen adaptations of Evolution of Claire and Maisie Lockwood’s Adventures to show more of the lore to the general audience similar to Camp Cretaceous, possibly an anime or 2D animated spin-off series, first time in the franchise.
3. And lastly a Trespasser remake where it’s an open world game where Anne stranded on Sorna, encountering dinosaurs accurate to InGen’s list and treated like animals, hostile mercenaries from illegal genetics company, and secrets of InGen, including Hammond’s relationship with Lockwood, and the Amalgam Testing breeding four new species you’ve seen in JP3, the quilled animalistic Velociraptors, and a Super-Raptor acted out as the final boss.

Honestly, who wouldn’t wanna see more from this awesome million-making franchise after Jurassic World Dominion and Camp Cretaceous Season 5? I’d wanna see a new series or short/spinoff film of dinosaurs that are on InGen’s List but were not seen (like Suchomimus, Metriacanthosaurus and Edmontosaurus). Also nice new animations!
I think it's time to let it rest before it ends up like fast and furious. 3 movies where enough but JW was okay. Its time to bring out some R rated shows and games

It’s gonna be interesting to see how the franchise will expand and go after Dominion; in terms of spin-off, sequels, prequels or whatever they have planning. The one thing I want to see come out from the franchise is an adaptation of the original Jurassic Park and Lost World novels by Michael Crichton and make it into a series or something for Netflix or whichever streaming service is willing to adapt it; I think it would be very cool to see something much, much darker and
more gruesome in its depictions of animal violence, the idea of control, paleontology, theory on chaos and idealistic view of hubris than what we have been able to see so far on screen.
I wish we could get an animated series that covers the novels without cutting any content. Having every chapter of the books, being and episode of the series. Animation would be the best for it, instead of the live action. Not 3D animation of course

I would love an adaptation of “The Evolution of Claire” book. Its set before the opening of Jurassic world and has a good cover up, espionage type vibe. At least for me a Jurassic film centered around the secrecy of the cloning technology would be great.

I do hope that the franchise expands more in terms of prequels, and maybe even a bit in between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion.
i think the best way for the prequels to be successful is with a live action show with multiple seasons! We definitely need prequels, however i fee the general public is currently burnt out on Jurassic movies for now. universal should take Disney’s approach on Star Wars by adding TV shows. And hold off on any new movie for many years…
With Dominion, it really feels like the studio has clipped the flaws and fangs of the franchise by keeping the dinosaur violence and human kill count so limited. Whether they were afraid of some kind of backlash over the whole Zara BS, or were so afraid to take any risks that they made something TOO SAFE to succeed as a high stakes finale. I think the chances of Universal putting this franchsie to bed is almost nonexistant, even if they have run themselves into a rough patch with Dominion's critical reception. Its hard to tell if that's on the studio being craven or Trevorrow really losing his energy from 2015.
Standalone movies taking place in the movie universe with more modest scopes and a back to basics approach, with television series showing dinosaurs on the American mainland seems like a clear direction. DeWanda and Mamadou, and maybe Jake Johnson would be solid leads in either a movie of a series. Bayona brought a phenomenal vision to Fallen Kingdom, but with his hands tied up with Amazon's frankly disappointing looking Lord of the Rings series, who knows?
I think this could help, but I think Universal should at least give this franchise a few years of a break because I think the franchise is going through franchise fatigue at this point.
if jurassic were to ever have any spin off tv show, one idea that might be worth trying is something a bit like the mandolorian in tone but with the character of kayla watts.

Especially because her kind of character is exactly the kind who might travel around the world in her new plane, taking different jobs and such. Just now, she's maybe trying to shut down certain operations by people similar to Soyona Santos, remaining currpt indiduals of biosyn or even mantah corp (if they are still around) or heck, maybe other groups from other countries and regions we NEVER seen before.
I mean with a WHOLE WORLD to explore and such, there's so many stories you could tell with this format
This is what i hope to see for the future of the franchise:
-An R rated movie or an R rated live action series of the origins of jurassic park (basicaly the story of hammond and lockwood creating jurassic park and the first dinos)
-An R rated live action series or multiple short films about of alot of families and people coexisting with dinosaurus (this could be either before or after the events of jurassic world dominion)
-An R rated live action series or a R rated animated series about the people that are behind the black market (basicaly we see how dark the black market can be and also alot of dinosaur batlle rings and tournaments)
-An R rated live action series or a R rated animated series about a group of mercenaries that go to sorna and they basicaly go to capturate the dinos for then to send to mantha corp and biosyn and also other organizations (this is actualy a story im making XD)
-An R rated movie or a short film or an R rated live action series or even an R animated series about someone or a group of people that are in jurassic park or world trying to escape after the events of wich movie had
I personally think that they should do a prequel trilogy that gives us a look at, for example: Why Sorna was abandoned or a story about survivors left on the island after its abandonedment, a prequel to the the first Jurassic Park from a worker's POV that would show the different trials and errors to creating dinosaurs and give us a perspective different from the clean, white labs and decorative buildings and show a more rugged and unsanitary living standards that both the workers and dinosaurs were forced to live in, and/or the first steps of the construction of Jurassic World with showimg different worker stories throughout the movie with scenes such as retrieving dinosaurs from Sorna and recapturing/killing off the surviving dinosaurs that were left from Jurassic Park so many years ago.
Would be cool if they made a movie about dinosaurs being used in a war like they wanted with inominus rex and indoraptor, although I think I rex is too big for modern warfare but indoraptor would be useful
Here’s what I want to see in future Jurassic World movies:
1. More T-Rexes (Rexy, Buck & Doe, Big Eatie & Little Eatie, or a brand new T-Rex).
2. Bring the Spinosaurus back in live action.
3. Add some more aquatics (Plesiosaurus, Elasmosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Liopleurodon, Predator X, Tylosaurus, Opthalmosaurus, etc).
4. Go back to the islands in a sequel or prequel film.
Bonus: Bring Back Nick Van Owen, Sarah Harding, Billy Brennan, and the Kirby’s.
I feel that something we really haven’t seen in a Dominion or any of the Jurassic films is how are the wild prehistoric species impacting or effecting the native ecosystems they’ve been unleashed upon. Like how are they literally changing the biological landscape (forests, plains, rural and suburban communities) both directly and indirectly? And how are these new environments effecting them in return?
And of course what are people and corporations doing with the cloned species? Hunter reserves? Agriculture? Pharmaceuticals? We barely had that touched upon too.
Those could easily be plots or subplot arcs for a TV series or film.
Since technology is what helped bring back the dinosaurs the people of that universe could also realize new technology to help protect them from the more dangerous ones. Think of gated in human communities such as the one in Terra Nova.
I want to see some prequels, either as movies or a tv series. I want to know how John Hammond created Jurassic Park or how Simon Masrani created Jurassic world, maybe some cameos from dinos we haven’t seen in the series before
That would be best, set films between The Lost World and Jurassic World. Tell the story of how InGen continued experimenting in secret and Masrani Global got the functioning park started.

Klayton you hit it on the nail re: JP1 & Lost World aesthetics. The movies have never looked or felt the same, since. I’d love to see the story get back into a real jungle full-time (no jungle backlots at Universal Studios, like in JP3). To further accomplish the feel of the first 2 movies, they should 1) slow down the characters’ dialogue to establish our investment in them, so that we genuinely care whether they survive a dinosaur attack. 2) build some actual anticipation before dino confrontations (like original t-rex scene).
They should make a spinoff show centered around Site B. Around JP3 & Lost world, explaining why everything is abandoned now and showing what went wrong. Could incorporate the spinosaurus as well.
Personally, I want for there to be a live-action miniseries that takes place after "Jurassic World 3: Dominion" and brings together all of the major surviving characters from the previous 6 films, and the Isla Nublar 6(AKA the Camp Fam) from "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous". What the story would be, I don't know, but it should start out with some sort of conference or event that involves all of the survivors of the Isla Nublar & Isla Sorna incidents talking about their experiences on said islands. That's the only way that I can think of for all of those characters to be brought together, but I really want to see it happen! It would be so awesome! And, with it being a miniseries instead of a movie, it would allow for more time to see all of these characters together in the same story.
I would love to see some in-between movies, similar to Rogue One and Solo (A Star Wars Story) as like a pre-main storyline side stories. Incorporate the Spinosaurus and its lore. Give the Mosasaurus a JAWS-like ocean movie like how they did The Meg film or a canon Netflix series with the focus on Blue and Beta. Camp Cretaceous I do not really consider canon, but I want to see something more serious than what we got.
Maybe a mosa jaws spin off on a aircraft carrier??
To be fair, sequels can really only go one of three places from here:
1) people in the middle of nowhere have to deal with dinosaur(s)
2) a major city has to deal with dinosaur(s)
3) someone weaponizes dinosaurs in an armed conflict or assassination attempt
I also find it hard to imagine them continuing this story in a realistic way without it being very plot heavy &, by proxy, less dino centric- basically, it turns into PG-13 The Walking Dead, but with dinosaurs. Who knows what those people are plotting, though.
I would honestly like to see a movie or project showing what happened to the dinosaurs on Isla Sorna. They could bring back Henry Wu and Hoskins and just show what happened. Maybe just a show showing them bringing all the dinosaurs into the JW theme park. They could show the beginning of the I-rex and her sister as well as the start of the Scorpius Rex. Isla Sorna is just the biggest mystery in the JP franchise and I've wanted answers for so long. Maybe even show something about Cite C. I also would like to see more of how the dinosaurs r reacting and living in today's ecosystems. Like how they react to other animals and stuff. We saw some of this in Dominion but not much. I think it'd be cool as like a documentary series. Like one episode could be with Rexy, another about Blue and Beta, another about the Mosasaurus in the ocean, etc. Something else I think I would enjoy personally would be something to expand on the forest surrounding Biosyn. The animals and the dinosaurs co-existing, how they got rexy there, how they got the Bull and Doe T-Rexes from JP2 their, and just the other dinosaurs their. I have alot of ideas lol
Id love to see a remake of trespasser, think with today's tech I do believe the can capture the games original concept and improve it. Hell a survior horror game for JP is still a must for me. Tired of park builders, I want a game where they cover older lore or newer where we are forced to fight or flight from the dinosaurs. Id love it if they made games in the original JP era like that, the tell tale game was good but was a tease for what it could of been.

This just kind of hit me but I love the idea! "Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park", a R rated miniseries true to the book. I've wanted this for awhile but as movie. I realize that as a movie people would hate it, it would ruin the wonder of the original, but as a show I think it could pull huge interest and wide appeal for adult fans familiar and unfamiliar with the book. Netflix is in tremendous need of original shows with Ozark ending and Stranger Things wrapping up. Everyone would subscribe for JP. Built in sequel as well, "Michael Crichton's, The Lost World." I'm in love with this idea

It would be cool if we could see a series about The creation of the Indoraptor. It could start with the hybrid hatching and they could even incorporate to the deleted electrician scene. Maybe even have the ending show the body and eggs sold at the Malta Market. Mills and Doctor Wu would return since the series would be set around early 2017 and a month before the events of Fallen Kingdom.
I'd would love to see a series take place between 2002 and 2015 showing the construction and development of Jurassic World.
I also wouldn't mind seeing shows based of the Jurassic Park comics.
Or a show in modern day showing DFW Operatives or Kayla capturing dinosaurs all around the world to bring th to the Biosyn Valley all while dealing with illegal fighting rings, poachers etc.

Oooo how about one of a freelance journalist who snoopes around Sorna and Nublar during the construction of Jurassic World and the bad stuff they were doing on Site B. The journalist character can start off as money hungry but once he sees the beauty and mistreatment of the animals he becomes good and advocates against the opening of the park but is ultimately unsuccessful
Here’s my opinion on where they should go:
- Wait 10-20 years and then reboot the franchise.
- Instead of films they should make a mini series based on both novels, roughly 6-9 hour long episodes in length.
- Have them follow the novels faithfully.

I would love for the TV series to look into any "accidents" that occurred while the original site was being built. Heck you could even include some Biosyn mercs or spies going to Site B only to end up as Dino lunch.
And for the new movies, they need to pull a "Rogue One" to give a bit more momentum to the franchise
I think a lot of people, including me feels...tired of the franchise at least a bit, if they really want to keep the movies going, they need to have a plan, and maybe wait some years, I don't see Jurassic having the potential Marvel or Star Wars have... there's a limit at which the Jurassic franchise would start feeling more stale over time...

More or less where I'm at. I don't mind if they do side projects or series for the JP universe, but having more movies just seems like a waste for both the IP and budgets.

We need more books, novels and video games since the Jurassic franchise (in fact all franchises) continued making stories from those materials rather than just movies.
I think it would be cool to see somewhat of a soft reboot to the jp franchise so they could learn from their mistakes in the other movies
I'm so glad to see the Planet of the Apes trilogy mentioned, it's criminally underrated. I think a streaming series like with Star Wars holds a lot of potential but for now it would be good idea to let the franchise rest in terms of movies (as much as I was disappointed by Dominion I would be fine with it as the final installment). The only exception would be short films akin to Battle at Big Rock; one idea I've had for a while is a short spinoff focused on the Mosasaurus battling a Pliosaurus/Kronosaurus at an undersea research station for a dark underwater action sequence. The one area with the most untapped potential is video games beyond the park-simulator mold. A Warpath remake would be especially interesting now that dinosaurs like Indominus rex and Giganotosaurus have entered the canon.
Honestly, I'm fine with _Dominion_ being the last one. I just don't see them doing anything else beyond this point.
Site B needs to be explored and looked at. It’s demise, mystery, and overall lack of coverage in the movies is so interesting!
Also, Dominion shits all over Fallen Kingdom. FK is by far the worst of the 6, it brought nothing to the series and too much of it took place during the auction and mansion with another “man made Dino”. If the movie focused on getting Dino’s off the island, the cast having survive against its elements and Dino’s, and then having the island explode (maybe even killing off one of the main characters) at the end would have been so much better.

There’s so much potential with Isla Sorna post JP3. We have a whole ass spinosaurus there after the movie ended. Perhaps a plot could be a flashback to exploring site B then Rexy gets relocated and encounters the spino and finally takes down that monster.

I’m hoping a next set of films &/or a tv series to explore how the world reacted and was affected by the dinosaurs before or after dominion.
This was hardly touched in dominion, so to get to see modern animals coexisting with dinosaurs and explore the question of: “Can humans and dinosaurs Coexist” instead of just saying they can
Been thinking about that as well the one thing I would like to see in a future movie or another series is maybe something of a feel of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park novel embracing those horror/sci-fi elements in it.
I don’t think exploring beyond Dominion’s ending shouldn’t be ruled out completely. Jurassic Films have always found ways to tell new stories that we didn’t really consider at the conclusion of the previous movie. I do think Nostalgia is a good method but not the only one they can do. I’d actually like to see a series were Maisie is the lead someday. For right now I do think it’s best to let the main films series rest, maybe do a few prequel shows in the meantime and pick the movies up again later.
Here's what I think the next story should sort of be about.
Soyona Santos who went to jail in Dominion breaks free by using the Atrociraptors, and then she starts over Biosyn on one of the 5 Death Islands(Site B would be best). Then, she captures dinosaurs under the amalgam testing like the Spinosaurus and creates more dinosaurs so that she can smuggle and sell them. But realizing the main cast would stop them eventually, she sort of masks Biosyn under another name and then invites Grant, Sattler, Malcolm, Owen, Claire, and Wu to visit the Island. She fakes the Island to them as a sanctuary as she has the chip that controls the dinosaurs' brains so that tourists won't get attacked by dinosaurs, but she uses the chip to get the dinosaurs closer to our cast and attacks them. The main dinosaur would be the Spinosaurus and since he knows there are some species found nowhere else on Earth, he would be skeptical of this Island but then santos and her team capture our cast. The cast's goal should be to break free from this trap and then leave the island to expose this fake sanctuary.
Also, they should stop making the Trex look bad in these films and have it overpower at least one carnivorous dinosaur the same size or bigger than itself.
I hope they make another Jurassic Park movie sometime in the future after Dominion and I agree that some of the cast members probably won't return but all the other cast members that played the First Second Third Fourth and Fifth movies should return Sometime if they do come back
If I were able to make a Jurassic continuation, I’d make it a Netflix series called “Jurassic World: Species Division”, named after the CIA division seen in Dominion. The plot of the show would be based around Barry, Lowrey, Vivian, Franklin, Zia, and Kayla exploring the dinosaur black market around the world and stopping growing crime lords from building their dinosaur-controlled crime empire.

A giant fenced 'sanctuary' is built around the biosyn dinosaur area. Rich people pay to hunt dinosaurs which are just left to live as they would. Only one hunt every month is allowed and it's very expensive. One of these hunts goes wrong. Rest is survival while trying to escape.
Basic plot but could be fleshed out to a decent storyline
I think the series could do something very smart around the consequences of animal abuse and the COVID-19 pandemic by using the DX disease from The Lost World and make it contagious to humans. Of course China would be furious about it, but it would be a great idea, all of this disaster was caused by the trade and consumption of exotic animals, so why wouldn't use that? The idea of combating the illegal dinosaur market sounds good.
During the premiere of Dominion in Mexico there was a talk with Colin Trevorrow and part of the cast, and they mentioned the possibility of a film directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and a spin-off lead by DeWanda Wise. I think this is a good idea! I'd like to see Kayla Watts, Soyona Santos, or Barry Sembène back, or maybe some minor characters from previous movies, like Gray and Zach Mitchell.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe we also need to reduce the number of dinosaurs to focus on a single conflict, and also reduce the conflict itself, which I think would have been a good thing for JP 3, that instead of going back to the island he would have sat on the dinosaurs escaping to Costa Rica like at the end of the first novel.
I personally have no problem with franchise continuing because Dominion left me satisfied and an open door, my only request is the possibility of having a tv series be set between JP3 and JW. Or to have it set between JW Fallen Kingdom and Dominion to make up for the lack of kills and to show the struggles of dinosaurs in our world.

I know what they could do! After the locusts story they could do one on bugs that killing trees and there could be some dinos in in the story to but mainly it's about saving trees from tree killing bugs.
I would like to see a post dominion movie with a lost world feel of a team getting put on a mission to make an extensive dossier of all the dinosaurs loose in the world. To catalog them and transport them to Biosyn valley or wherever. Having to save some separate places from some carnivores they end up capturing, etc.
I don’t even need a big movie villain personally… Just good scenes with the right amount of tension from them being hunted, or encounters with angry herbivores and things like that would honestly be more interesting.
With some grand plan for the valley, or the dinosaurs for future installment to aspire to. Giving it that first Jurassic Park, “John Hammond’s Dream” feel of something amazing you are waiting to see throughout the movie and/or for sequels.
I think a grounded trilogy started off like that would be good if they decided to try and redeem themselves after this one.
I would really like to see Matt Reeves gives his own take on Jurassic,he’s more than proven himself as a director with both Dawn and War of the Planet of the Apes,as well The Batman.

If they ever make a Post- Dominion Jurassic movie, I think it should be a modern day western (Neo-western) with horror elements. Have it take place in one location similar to M. Night Shyamalan's Signs and make the dinosaurs scary.

In my opinion I think we should do a primal rage movie because the concept wouldn't be hard to adapt to the big screen despite the fact it's based on a video game let's not forget we have a rampage movie
It would be kinda interesting to see Bryce Dallas Howard take the role as director for the next jurassic movie.
Although at that point I feel like a dark, gory, live-action TV show would work better for now. Maybe a new trilogy in a few years, but a TV show with a few seasons could give us the time and story telling that we NEED in order to get a proper sequel to dominion. I don't think a 2-3 hours movie can do that.
Edit: if we do get prequels, I really, really REALLY hope they are Jurassic World sequels not Jurassic Park sequels, because they could mess up BIG TIME if they try to create a prequel story for the classic OG movie. I don't wanna see that.

A modern retelling of Moby Dick with the Mosasaur would be cool, using the ocean to give the film a sense of dread and loneliness, while also exploring themes such as greed, the folly of man, and vengeance!
my biggest wish would be a live action TV series set during the opening and running of Jurassic world. You could follow staff or dino vets as they deal with arguments about cloning, what DNA to use based on what they have witnessed in the current population of the park. You could have a few seasons of this where you become attached to the characters and watch as they run the park with the gradual build-up to the I-Rex where a few could object to the breeding of the I-Rex, this would allow us to see the I-Rex eating its sibling. I would want the tone of the series to be really grounded and play out like a Drama, alternatively I would like it to be a Sudo-Documentary where they are following the park workers and behind the scenes, a bit lit the Monkey Business TV show where the follow the day to day running of the Monkey Business Sanctuary. It would have a bitter sweet feel as you get attached to individual dinosaurs and the workers of the park knowing full well they are slowly heading for the I-Rex break out. I would Like them to take this even further and give it a haunting and dark ending to the series, maybe the Documentary types turn into documenting the fall of the park as they try to get to the evacuation point with them dying on main street, they drop the camera which continues to roll until the T-Rex bursts through the Spino skeleton, where the Spino Skull lands in front of the camera representing the death of the park and the last thing we see is that skull as we hear the Indo and T-Rex roar before the battery dies and the camera cuts to black

Man I gotta be honest. After this trilogy, I’m done. This last movie was a mess and they doubled down on what didn’t work. Also in the end, I thought it was funny as hell that 9 people were being crammed into a craft that only fits like 5 max
I would love to see something along the lines of trespasser. Start from there and move forward with the JP timeline. Hopefully they can get away with rewriting cannon that was madly butchered by the JW series. Or at least flush out the dark spots in the JW timeline with this series. I liked the idea of Billy being the first person to effectively bond with a raptor pack, that should definitely be explored. You can stay within the realm of both timelines since there is so much left open to interpretation. They've done a good job with that. The barbasol can is still sitting in the tunnels too. They never expanded on it which makes me think that's how they're going to revive the series again. I would also like if they went the complete opposite direction and built off Dominion by showing a world nearly overrun with Dinosaurs, showing the hubris of man thinking they could coexist with creatures that are separated by 66 million years of evolution. I would love to see that too. I guess it's kinda like the new planet of the apes. Heck they could even be trying to weaponize a virus to kill Dinos and that's why they are having such an easy time overtaking society. The virus could've broken out and only killed humans instead of dinosaurs which left tons of room for their populations to explode. It really is up in there imho, I have no clue where they plan on going with it. Just gonna have pay closer attention to trends in Hollywood as they usually is the indicator of how a series will reboot itself for a new generation
Possible idea: Revisit the Jurassic Park: The Game. You know, the one revolving around the embryo can, had the Tylosaurus, and the Troodons. Either make a movie version of that(there'd have to be some editing, like the ultimate fate of the Barbasol can) or carry those ideas(especially the troodons) into a prequal that involves the building of Jurassic World. Imagine you have the workers coming in, trying to clear land for the park and getting terrorized by Rexy, dilophosaurus, troodons, and more. What you guys think?
No movie without returning characters man you know it could work SO WELL I mean remember rouge one?! THAT WAS AMAZING
I want a reboot that’s more loyal to the books and maybe even 90s comics. Jurassic Park is supposed to be horror, not family friendly Rexy is our friend and Blue is a cute mama:3

I'd liked to see a far future Trilogy in the JP/JW universe. I want to see how having dinosaurs around shapes humanity's future. But I also think we need to see these other things first.
I'd like to see a prequel to Jurassic Park. The first attempts to clone dinosaurs, the first experiences with their behavior, the building of the park and Site B ... that would be enough material for either a new trilogy or a live-action TV series, starting in the 80s and going up to '93. Isabella Sermon (Maisie's actress) could return as Charlotte Lockwood, while characters like John Hammond, Benjamin Lockwood, and Henry Wu would have to be played by new, younger actors.
I would love for the franchise to go down a Planet of The Apes kind of route where humans gets infected with some dino virus that wipes out most of humanity and what is left has to live along side dinos, but without any modern amenities.
Battle at Big Rock was the best Jurassic World had to offer and is how Dominion should have felt while watching it.
I love a good Jurassic movie, but I don’t want them to make more just for the sake of it. I honestly don’t want them to make any more movies, I think the series has concluded itself well enough and I really don’t want to see a whole new cast that just throws all the characters we know and love away. If they do make more, I would at least hope they continue to use the legacy cast and Owen and Claire or prequels

Here's the Prequel story I want to see;
Set it in 1994. Focus on Dr. Richard Levine investigating "Aberrant forms" washing up on the beaches of Costa Rica, leading to the discovery of Isla Nublar. Have it at a time when Dodgeson is still trying to obtain InGen genetic material and use it to get the shaving cream back. Also use it to adapt all the stuff from the novel of The Lost World that was never otherwise adapted.
End it with Levine barely escaping with his life and confronting Malcolm with what he discovered, convincing Malcolm to go public with what happened in the park.
I really keep hoping or a prequel series, wit a first season based before the opening of Jurassic Park, the beginnings with a young Lockwood and Hammond, and then Lockwood's daughter visiting the park before everything went to hell. And a second season based around the building and opening of Jurassic World, the hiring of Hoskins and Owen, capturing Rexy, and the park functioning and operating normally in the end.

I think a series about barry,nick van Owen and other jp characters not seen in fallen kingdom dealing with the events of fallen kingdom and how they will handle the dinosaurs would be really cool to see
I’d like to see a prequel to Jurassic Park 1 to see them building the park and making the dinosaurs for the first time.
In my mind there are 3 options:
1. Full scale reboot. To me this is the least likely option.
2. Full shutdown. No more jurassic movies.
3. A continuation with returning characters reduced to cameos.
I really want j.a bayona to direct a jurassic movie again, cuz the indoraptor rooftop scene was one of my favorite scenes in movie history...
I want an alternate history movie/series of what would've happened if Nedry got off the island with the shaving cream can. Multiple companies are now in possession of dinosaurs and are directly competing against each other.
Okay, hear me out.
I believe a series set in the aftermath of Jurassic World: Dominion would work. Small stories of different people tackling the world with dinosaurs around I think would work just fine, with a variation of tone. I don't think it needs to be connected to the main plot of the movies, and The Mandalorian followed this (to my knowledge). Maybe have an episode where someone is hunting with raptors, one where illicit actions are done with them (similar to a certain scene in Dominion), some episode where a group worships them, etc. I think an episode where it's the JP Kitchen scene as the basis would be awesome, and any other ideas are welcomed.
I'd like to see more of the campers. Like maybe how they reacted to the dinosaurs coming on land. I know that not many people know about Camp Cretaceous, but seeing how people reacted to dinosaurs is pretty interesting.
If I had a billion dollars to throw at anything I wanted, I'd want a TV series that was a 1:1 of the Jurassic Park books
A prequel about how Jurassic Park was built, how they created the dinosaurs, etc
A prequel about Site B before it was abandoned
I want them to make a movie like fallen kingdom style. Where people go on an expedition deep in the Brazilian rainforest looking for lost treasure while being hunted by an unknown creature(s). They run into other Dino all the while, but there is a creature unknown to them in the area. Make sorta like jaws. With the heightened music when it’s approaching but no one ever sees it. Like the night terror in the show PRIMAL. Have dewanda wise be the lead with a couple new characters. One knows about and researches Dinos and another ancient civilizations. Plus their crew. They can be followed by some tomb raiders and or that Evil company in dominion. Then they all have to work together at the end to save them selfs when the creature has picked everyone else off.
I use to think jurassic world fallen kingdom was to tame in its kills but someone pointed out during wheatley's death scene, they managed to fit into a few frames the indoraptor tearing his entire calf muscle off. It was in the background and q very far away shot which wasnt the main focus which i give props to is a very clever way to fit in something so brutal and gorey in a pg movie and the best kill to me in the entire franchise because of it.
Jurassic Park survive: a saw style horror movie where a billionaire got his hands on different gene sequences to populate his own reserve. He kidnaps people to be put all around and they have to survive by making their way to the center of the reserve but the whole thing is mostly populated by carnivores. I can imagine someone sneaking around raptors or something and then being swiped up by a rex. Would never be made because they try and keep it family friendly but holy crap a horror movie in this universe would be insane
Would be neat to see a series based directly off the two books. Scene for scene, word for word, including the animal violence. Call it "Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park" and "Michael Crichton's The Lost World". That way, you're not fighting to get a whole novel within a 2 hour movie. Just have maybe 12 episodes or so, each being a hour long per novel. As for future films, prequels and in-between films would be a great idea. To flesh out more of what happened before or after the main films would be nice.
A mini series where each episode is a different story like Battle at Big Rock would work well too.
