and honestly lets do 6 hours per day for 365 days and 8 years is over 16000 hours. So lets say he takes a few days/weeks off and still just does 8 hours which is a full time job for a regular person so it isn't like he is playing for 18 hours of the day. His job is just a lot more fun then most peoples.

The only people commenting here and justifying this dude playing and doing nothing but video games for the past 10 years are the same people who ooze out of the basement, scalded by the sunlight every few months, wishing they could earn money from doing the same thing this dude does, without the threats and harassment from mom and dad that “this is the final warning, get a job or I’m kicking you out!” that never actually happens because they know you’re so pathetic you wouldn’t survive outside of your bedroom. I mean you can hardly microwave something.
It’s still grossly pathetic, making money or not. To have played and devoted 16000 hours to using an imaginary gun in a video game for SIXTEEN thousand hours is not an accomplishment most people would willingly brag about. Why? It’s pathetic. Not hating. Not jealous. It’s mental illness and shouldn’t be treated as anything less.
Millennials, gen Zers, DONT TAKE THIS VIDEO AS MOTIVATION. Go outside, experience life, your planet, make friends, meet men or women. Travel. If you feel compelled to stay inside all day, wasting away in front of a monitor, GO SEE A DOCTOR. It’s NOT NORMAL. Get help, find out why you’re compelled to do as such. Don’t just accept that is how you are because it’s NOT. You were meant to experience as much as this world has to offer you and it’s so much more than devoting your life to how far away you can snipe people or how many 5vs1s you can do without dying.
This guy admits to 16k hours to sniping in dayz but that number playing video games is likely as long as your entire adult life. Do not be him. You weren’t born to sit in front of a computer screen your entire life.

I admire people who can stick to one game and enjoy it for this many hours and really get good at it. I simply cannot do that. I play a huge variety of games always looking for something different, a new challenge, and a environment. I played FPS games a lot when I was younger by stopped after many years of playing them, i just got bunt out, my most played was counterstrike but i only enjoyed big maps where I could apply a lot of tactics to outsmart players, i couldn't care for tiny maps like dust so this limited my fun a bit, also over time people stopped communicating and community became more and more toxic, I used to get banned from servers all the time for people accusing me of cheating when I didn't. I played some of battle field games and call of duty and all too but ever seen then the fun vanished because mainstream people who started swarming those games just wouldn't communicate, in fact if you tried to communicate people would just tell you to shut up, it sucked, i didn't want to play multiplayer games with such toxicity. so then I moved back to single player games mostly and have been doing that for last 10-15 years. I also developed hand issues these days and mainly only play with controller due to this, i can't WSAD anymore so this has also kept me sticking to single player games now. but even so i keep wishing I could find that one game that I could stick to and play long term. I actually returned to online gaming with rocket league and played over 1000 hours until i was regularly at champion rank, sadly toxicity in that game was the worst I ever seen, all the people telling me it gets better at higher ranks lied it got way worst the higher rank you got, so once again quit online gaming. I've tried some MMO's but all MMO's suck in my opinion, they ae simply designed to keep you paying monthly or for in-game items and they aren't balanced to be fun. I have put tons of time in games like 7 days to die, skyrim, and other games and those i tend to keep going back every year due to mods etc. but even still my most played game on steam is about 1500 hours, majority of games is less then 100 hours. I get really bored of a game 50-100 hours in and simply have to take a break and find something different. sometimes i feel like i spend more time trying to find that next game or perfect game for me then actually playing games. I've actually started enjoying watching others play games like let's plays and streamers more then playing games myself because i see a style of gameplay I wouldn't use myself and it's fun to feel some kind of connection to the other person playing. So yea, I wish I could enjoy one game like you do and put this amount of time into one game, but i simply can't, something mentally wrong with me that prevents me from enjoying a game this long.
I can't believe how good you are at DayZ. I watch allot of DayZ content, but you are definitely the most skilled and fun to watch.

I'm guilty of these hours and I'm not ashamed ,my wife and kids are all happy also as my kids are all grown my son is 29 and my daughter is 26 the last few years they are out making their way on their own. If you ask me about how sad someone is I would say it's the one who worries about what other people spend their time doing enough to act like they are the authority on whats healthy for someone they know nothing about! You have no right to judge and you are the problem here.

Anybody that plays a particular game for 16000 hours needs to reassess their life.
I have read through a good few comments through this. I am going with do what you want and don’t hurt others….. but be a valuable contributing member of society. Surely that means something more than UA-cam gaming. This I more an indictment of modern living than the person. Thank god people still want a proper job.

hi ive never played dayz but have been watching dayz movies for 2 to 3 years now. so decided after all this time to find the best pvpers to watch but there is no ranks that i could find then noticed summit reacting to one of your videos. this is my first time viewing you and my friend you so far are the best ive seen in terms of pure aiming. not just that you locate people easily from far and can snap onto them sort of like csgo quick scopes amazing

(If you hesitated, you seem modest but perfectionistic. I can relate alot with you and your decisions, like you character, how you take this game serious. Humor is nice, i love to talk shit, but it's not always the most important thing, and you really show some well focused and yet relaxed gameplay.
That apartment building at the beginning scene while you were zooming in, i created a base there that was absolutly massive and lasted for nearly a month lmao.

I play on Xbox and unfortunately fights like this at nadbor RARELY happen. Because every group on the server is camping in spawn cities with mega bases killing freshies. Like topolin, gliniska, brena, etc. a group just builds a mega base in a spawn town and never leaves. Just kills everyone that spawns there. No one ever down south.
