I didn't remember if I came across it from prose-poetry or if I cited it from a novel ~ it's been 45+ years😊 I do remember that it was part of an Impromptu speech I gave in one of my communications courses back in the mid~ 70s. I had memorized it over the years and it has just stuck with me ❤️

Normally when I'm listening to music on UA-cam, I end up scrolling while I'm listening, but this is so powerful I closed my eyes and just listened. I love this track, and the layers of the piano and cello were really magical!

Dear Piano Guys. I need to say thank you since I started listening to you I have been on a deep mental health journey. Every time I would find you had a new song it was there for me whether it was happiness with my family or the deepest darkest moments when I was only barley cling to life you were there with your wonderful music. For years they kept me going in their own musical way helping me crawl through the darkness to find hope, treatment, love, meaning, and worth. then today as I am sitting on the edge of freedom from the maze I have lived in for 46 years not knowing or remembering what the light of peace and belonging even looks like, you guided me the last few steps with this song. You are doing Gods work there is no other way I can say it. I know the struggle will never be over I will always suffer with Mental Health issues it is my lot in life. But you have helped close out a very long journey and I finally feel FREE. thank you.

Joshua, I also have a mental health cross to bear. I can tell you from experience that once you crest the top of that final mountain, you have the ability to stay closer to the top.
You are correct that your issues will occasionally rise up to grab you and try to drag you down. BUT, and this is an important but, you will more easily recognize them and kick them out. Think of all the ways that you have learned to cope. They will help you re-center in the light or stay in the light for longer periods each time.

It demonstrates poetically how music conveys and influences emotion, tells stories and sings hymns, inspires life while honoring loss... This song is the epitome of wonder and awe. It truly impacted me when I first heard it, especially when it was combined with Charlie Chaplin's speech from "The Great Dictator."
This version is absolutely astounding, encapsulating the absolute brilliance and emotion in the original, while still adding a unique touch. You guys never cease to amaze me. Keep it up, do what you love most, and never give up. Time waits for no man.

@@KaKi87 While that one is great and has wonderful storytelling through its melodies, I still have to hold Time on a higher pedestal. Time was the one that truly brought into focus just how something so simple and seemingly minimal can become something monumental. There’s a lot more personal impact for me, so of course I’m rather biased. That said, Time also remains the more versatile one, being usable in so many contexts. All of Zimmer’s works are masterpieces in their own right, but if you compare the example I gave (Chaplin’s speech from “The Great Dictator”) using Interstellar’s theme and Time, you will hear my point with that.
Just being clear, I’m not discounting Interstellar or any other masterpiece by him. I just find Time to be one of the greatest - if not THE greatest.

Investing time into learning more about time and life in general, was such a good use of my time. I don't know. Maybe it's because I hug my family tighter, and longer. Maybe it's because I see the miracles in the smaller things. But I believe that no matter how you look at it, I know that I view life all the more beautiful because of it.
