The Story:
It was 2011. Late in the year. What started as a small town ambition to sell pianos through social media had shown some promise as a standalone UA-cam music video channel. We had a few videos under our belts. We had a handful of subscribers. We were building steam. We were loving it! But one looming, sour-faced, obstinate obstacle stood in the way.
Reality.
How could we sustain this? How could we keep this pace? We had robbed too much time away from family, day jobs; we were living two lives - nocturnal and diurnal - in an attempt to write music and film videos in every spare second. Our day jobs, including the Piano Store itself, saw a sharp decline due to negligence. Reality hit. It hit hard. Our music videos were not providing near enough to provide for our families, our number one priority. They say that the only difference between a large pizza and a professional musician is that a large pizza can feed a family of four!
So we hatched this crazy idea.
What if our genesis, as official full-time "Piano Guys," could be "crowd funded?" What if we offered special packages to people in exchange for their support to help us get our wheels off the ground? +Ambishion Entertainment I learned using a cheap MIDI keyboard hooked into my computer at first, cost me about $60 including the cables I needed for it. Worked out well enough, and over time I've been able to invest more money into it.

SimpleHowToVideos Yes... I know... It doesn't matter though because you don't hear the music they're playing in the video here either... It's just a lot of video editing and some sound recording in a professional, silent, recording room. How else would they get the perfect music quality with a camera flying around? It is probably on a drone, which has fans on it (rotors) which will make a lot of noise, ruining the quality.

I'd like to play a cello now because of the music they play
I am a founder. I remember back in 2011 when I'd first listened to Michael meets Mozart; eighteen-year-old me was floored. I had to show your videos to my entire family, and within a short period of time, they were all hooked. We came to see you in Singapore in 2013, though I'm sure you might not remember us, what with the hundreds of thousands of people you've met and who's lives you have touched with your music.
I'm tearing up as I write this, embarrassingly enough, because words cannot describe how much your music means to me. You guys have inspired me to keep playing, and to compose myself though I can only hope to have a fraction of the incredible talent and passion you pour into your videos. I managed to persuade my mother to let me contribute to the founders programme because I recognised that you guys could be great and that you deserved to have as many people as possible listen to your music. To have as many people as possible feel like I do.
So thank /you/ Piano Guys. You've changed my life in ways I could not imagine. And I hope you continue to create music and inspire people for many years to come.

He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. This rendition holds a special place in my heart. I chose this for my wedding in 2017. 2 years later, I played this song throughout my pregnancy. My son was only a few months old, his expression completely changed as this played. I believe he recognized the melody.

I love coldplay, but to be completely honest I choose this arrangement EVERYTIME. I think the chorus really brought it together with the heavy piano outlined by a unique set of violin slides. Also thumbs up to the bass they used, for a non signatured instrument it brings an extra texture and the arrangement would certainly be incomplete without it. Last but not least, the synth arrangement could NOT have been better fit to accommodate to the surrounding textures of music. Well done Piano Guys, may your music live on forever!

+SxKushxS It looks like they combined the performance footage with some long-exposure time-lapse footage taken at night from the same camera angles. I can't quite tell what time of day the performance half of the video would have been taken at. Clever camera people and their trickery! Beautiful results, though. :D
+Eric Manwill Actually it's REALLY easy to screen out the sky. It is blue after all. Imagine it like a giant blue screen. And then you can use masks to prevent it from cutting out the guys, and color treatment to make it look like it's night when it might be day.

I want to know that too. I'm thinking they filmed it twice, 1 of just stars and 1 of just them. I have always wanted to do star photography/video but it is never dark enough where I live. I'm sure it looks awesome where they were at. (Great Salt Lake Desert possibly? - same place where they filmed 3rd Pirates of Caribbean)

I guess it depends on what kind of movie you're making. A full on cinematic movie that gets contracted and casted and everything would probably require a business enquiry, but a home movie or project probably only requires credit in the description or something.
I love this arrangement better than the original! This song has gotten me through some tough times in my life, lifted my spirits, and still helps keep me going. My favorite part is from 3:32 - 3:50.

I am a founder and have looked for my name on the instruments many times. I contacted your web site and they said you took the names off and sold the piano and did not get any more pictures.
