good video man i need to do the same rhing on my 98 silverado i bought from a guy who lived on the coast as you know any vehicle on the coast will develop oxidation and this one did pretty bad too so this video comes as a great help thank you very much sire!!!!!!!!!
My 02 Camaro has a port that completely don’t work anymore not sure if I should replace the hole box or trouble shoot the one fuse is good the port Gets no power
Just curious as to what's between those 2 pieces. I'm missing one connection piece for my auxiliary/cigarette lighter in the fuse slot in my fuse block so i'm not able to get power to either of those 2. You think it's possible that connection may have been pushed inside?
I'm trying to find something out. I had my covers off the fuse box the other day because I wanted to inspect underneath. I had noticed on the corner where battery terminal is B+ that I have a heavy red wire there, as well as a heavy black wire connected in this same location. Was yours like this? Mine is a Avalanche
When you put it back together dont you need those? And if so where did you get them? I dont know what there called and havnt found much information on this. Good video though.
I wanted to thank you for video it works like a charm my box off Chevy equinox 2005 so it will work on many years and models very grateful for info
Good video deep tech you dont see anybody else showing this extra step
Seriously? He literally did nothing.
Thank you Cody, your vid gave me the inspiration to crack it open and fix the broken copper wire issue I was having!
David Embrey you are very welcome!
Similar idea as in the Malibu. Thanks for this, it pointed me in the right direction even though it isn't identical.

Awesome video and VERY helpful. I couldn't find this info anywhere. Thanks much!
How hard is it to remove fuse box? And how long did it take you?
Award Grammy winning video
Also, get a stand for your camera, or a third arm.

I can't remember, my parents only had this car for about a month until lightning stuck it lol
How do you get an existing fuse box out from your car? I have a 2011 chevy malibu and I got a new fuse box. I need to replace it.
Im not sure this is the same procedure, I can't remember this far back anyways lol.
@@firstlast-fc1yg Well how did you get this one out of your car if you remember?
@Mark Magoo do you honestly think over a year later I'm still asking this question? Lol like seriously?
@Mark Magoo lol yeah.. I'll have a hovercraft while you will have my 2011 Malibu that I sold to you because that's all you had in the budget.

I just just put them back in. I can't remember now but I think they just expand when you tighten the bolt.
Pretty sad video
