So glad I found your videos. I was definitely feeling really defeated by my little sticker making process. As in, my costs are so high (not printing them myself) and feeling overwhelmed by the massive amount of options people preset for how to design/print/ship stickers through an etsy store. Every single person has a different recommended process, which all entail spending yet MORE money to buy whatever they recommend for label printers and online shipping software, cricuts, all the semi-fancy tools. Anyhow, I'm very glad and relieved to see someone keeping designing, printing, cutting, and shipping stickers super easy and simple. I'm also in the process of testing out sealants for home printed stickers, but just like you, the PNW weather is not cooperating. I'm totes going to check out those self-laminating sheets! Thank you so much for letting me see and feel that it is possible to do this at home for cheap and keeping it simple!
Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much!! 🥺 It’s definitely overwhelming hearing about all the different ways that people are making their products. Plus, shit is EXPENSIVE!!! It’s awesome that there are so many products out there to make things, but I definitely found it to be a little too much for me…hence this video! 😂 And omg, you have no idea how many sealants I tested before finally finding these laminating sheets! They’re SO GREAT!! And, especially if you also live in a moody weather place, I HIGHLY recommend them! There is a small learning curve to making sure that you don’t get bubbles or anything, but if you have a card or a mini squeegee, and just take it slow they’re seriously the best things ever! Again, thanks so much for your wonderful comment! It really brightened my day! Best wishes on your sticker making journey and please feel free to let me know how it’s going! :)
OMG You put so much love and effort into yours. I love it.. I have a cricut but honestly, I'm beginning to think cutting them myself is far easier because it NEVER does what I want
Hey Kellie! :) Thanks so much! It's funny because I took the profits I made on Etsy to buy a Cricut shortly after recording this to make my life easier and it's kind of had the opposite effect for me 😂 Like trying to cut round stickers...OMG no lol. That said, though, hand-cutting stickers does take a lot of time (and patience!), so it can definitely have its drawbacks, too. :) If you try hand-cutting your stickers, please let me know how it goes!!
@@AmaraAndrew oh so you’re kinda frustrated with the Cricut too??? Gods I’ve had nothing but trouble hahaha. It’s taken me 2 years to successfully print and cut my stickers - I had to have a replacement machine but not before I aged 50 years trying to get them to listen to me when I said the machine is crap! Lol. This one isn’t much better but it’ll do haha
@@KelliePixieAshton Ugh, I totally feel your pain!! I'm sorry it's been such a pain in the butt, but hopefully handcutting your stickers can be a more tranquil experience!! :)

I just started selling stickers in my Etsy shop, but I want to switch to producing them myself to cut down on costs, instead of a POD service. A couple of questions: 1) is the spray just as effective as laminating for making the stickers waterproof? Weather isn't a problem where I'm at and it seems like it would be easier/quicker than laminating. 2) For laminating, I do have a laminating machine, so could that work just as well as the self-adhesive kind? Thanks so much!! :)
Oh wow. Amazing insight on how you make your stickers. Unfortunately I do not have your patience and could not cut them by hand. Fortunately I have a Silhouette Cameo from my previous "hobby" which allows me to print and cut. A little less personal than cutting each by hand (which I totally admire you for), but it keeps me form using the scissors for other (not so great) things. 😀
Haha it’s definitely a great lesson in patience! 😂 my store has amped up a bit since I made this video, so I’ve actually had to get a Cricut to increase my production. I’ve stepped over to the dark side (mwahaha!)! All that to say, make use of your Silhouette!! 🥳 Your stickers will still be personal and wonderful! 🖤
@@AmaraAndrew LOL. I love it. "The Dark Side"!!! Well welcome to the Dark Side. I am glad to hear your shop is amping up. You have some great products that I will soon be ordering. So I was watching this video again and saw how freaking even you cut everything out with just scissors. SO I figured, why not. I'll give it a try. Sadly I am now the creator of decapitated frankenstein monster stickers. Apparently I am not (oh this is a bad pun) cut out for manual cutting. Anyway, Happy Halloween, keep up all the great work.
@@greg_herhuth 😂😂😂😂 I love the pun!!! Omg, your poor Frankenstein's Monster! 😭 Nothing that a bit of tape won't fix! But, seriously, this is years of practice. I have another question for you. How do you like the iPad Air for designing? I have seen plenty of reviews for the iPad Pro, but I really don't want to spend that much.
I LOVE the iPad Air! I was between getting the Pro or the Air because I didn’t want to spend that kind of cheddar either. I watched a bunch of reviews before deciding on the Air and it looked like the primary difference between the two (at least what mostly mattered to me) was that there was a very small lag time for the Air versus the Pro. Meaning that if I drew a line in Procreate, there would be a tiny, tiny amount of time where you could see blank space between the tip of the pencil and the line. It isn’t a huge enough difference, though, for my purposes :) Tldr; I really love the iPad Air…oh, and the Paperlike is a gamechanger!! 🙌🏻
Hi there! :) So, for the sticker paper, laminating sheets, and ink, that single sheet of 12 stickers comes out to about $0.22. Then, each sticker on that sheet comes out to about $0.02!
So 50 stickers is about 1.12$ ? Ahh well it's not worth it then to go with printify or a third party print on demand, I was getting discouraged when I saw a seller on etsy that is really popular sell 50 stickers for 5$ and 100 for 9$ , these guys are printing as many stickers of small sizes as they can and selling in bulk , oh if the market is going that way there is no way using a third party to print on demand will be worth it then damn I might just buy exactly what you have gear wise and do this part time , I only have 2 to 3 hours daily after work so I have to not put out to much out there and pray then I suppose , I don't think I'll follow trends , if it doesn't sell I'll just do something else for retirement in a few years , the a lot for the info it's really appreciated

Is there a reason you don't use a utility knife? I like exporting Psd from Procreate. It maintains your separate layers! Thanks for the tutorial
Hey Kyle!
Nope, no reason. I didn’t want to have to buy anything extra and was just using what I already had on hand. :)
