I see alot of BTO HDB buildup in most all corner area in Singapore. I bet price will drop soon once another one year once all are bto are up built. By then JB will be more ready and Singapore might have weaker renter’s market. If market is great, you may not have to tell us, most probably they will quietly buying them to make money. COE is high.
Disagree as prices can only keep increasing if incomes can support it. New launches 3 bedders are hitting close to 3 million. Even with an increase in HDB sale prices there is still a lot left to loan from the bank. News has also mentioned that even though banks have loosened interest rates, it is still quite considerable. Developers try to subvent the effects of high quantum and sell smaller units. This may work to ensure a steady flow of sales of units launched. However how small they can go has a limit too. Would a sensible person buy for own stay or investment a small but yet expensive unit? As prices continue to rise, it makes less and less sense to buy condos for investment either from rental or capital appreciation

The increase is mainly from new launch and not sub sales.
If people come to their senses, they will realize that HDB offers much better value when it comes to own stay compared to the condo across the road.
