whenever I watch TRQ videos I'm reminded of how grateful I should be to have gotten my Chrysler out of the land of salty roads 4 years ago and into the desert. It has 122k miles so I have been doing a lot of long term wear-n-tear maintenance and there is very little rust to contend with.
Changed my rear bearings but was unaware of the Tone ring. I scraped a bunch of gunk out not knowing, but can imagine it was the 13 year old tone ring inside. I also installed new wheel speed sensors. After installing my new bearings I had the abs light, esp etc. with codes showing that the VSS was not detecting any wheel speed. Ordered a set of the rings, Hopefully this fixes my issue!
will update if it does. Thanks for the great videos.
awesome I didn't know if the tone ring was part of the hub or not , but now i know
Thanks
I’ve had nothing but trouble getting the tone ring on and when I do it just comes right off
Will this fix a new rear sensor that's still not reading anything and finally turn off my abs code.
Nice work thank you for the video.
i cant get to those hub bolts like how do you have so much room
Wow what a rusty mess. Glad I don't live in a snow and ice zone where they spread salt! Question - is it normal for the car to go into limp mode if an ABS sensor goes bad? Thanks
Does anyone know if the axle would fit through the wheel bearing hole? I want to replace my axle
so what you're saying is is the axle nut just only needs to be snug. got it. no torque spec. right on.
Thanks!
Not one of those things went as planned on my old rust bucket. 🙄
axle nut torque??!
Funny but 2024 is the time to change our 200? something in the same time. 15 years of duration part. 👍👍
It was a Daimler/Mercedes part.
Remember it is due to change the 2 sides. 👀
New ring are install, by my tool, test 2 new senser from Dealer Chrysler, and at the end.. have no signal, no cruise control no ABS, and track control.... So stay the same in fault... Bad
