I feel like this is literally the best endorsement ever for me to keep buying more cheap 5S packs for my 4S rigs. On the Betaflight - it's been a live feature for months - the Throttle Limiting in PID tab, set to MOTOR. You can still add a transmitter throttle channel mixer limit on top of that to get better throttle resolution. Practically, I still like combining the MOTOR PWM out cap to something lower, then running a transmitter output cap on throttle so I actually can finish flights - running 6S 2250KV I've found that motor cap of 85% and transmitter throttle cap of 75% really gets the job done, as this allows the motors to use everything up to that peak efficiency and into that rolloff point, then add tons of throttle resolution (in BBL I still see motor commands north of 80% in aggressive moves, which still allows me to really use 70% of the throttle, but that's not enough to flatten props or overdraw hard). With the right ESC Settings (drop rampup, set timing more aggressively - I know this probably masks DSHOT600 vs faster ptorocols) and it absolutely parties. The ultrasonic FET switching and PWM processing is amazing, Nick is spot on. Also, holy crap FalcoX is fast at these type of operations. GJ Guys

falco x 🔥👌😁🙌 I'm definitely switching to a higher voltage ⚡️ 🔥🔥🔥
WHERE IS THAT FW RELEASE?
FlightOne.com/beta or FlightOne.com/alpha
Yeah I googled that right after I wrote the comment and found a bunch of fw releases. Along with a configurator for Falco x. Thanks for your response though. Keep up fpv life I've been watching you for years I love the content
Doing the switch do you get any longer flight times or just lack of battery sagging?
Flying pretty reserved I got 8.5min on 674g Auw with a 1300mah batt usually I get about 4.5 to 5 min
Both 😜
what version of falco x has this? I must be on the wrong version. I went outside to test and didn't see it in the menu.
It's on the alpha versions from FlightOne.com/alpha
@@WillardFPV617 oh man, i got this thing feeling so good. I almost don't want to change anything but I also want to switch to 6s. I am on the beta version.
@@mcpfpv7535 if you don't like it you can always go back 😜
@@WillardFPV617 true. I am coming from betaflight too. This feels so much more locked in or something I can't explain. I really like it! Just got back from ripping.
@@mcpfpv7535 welcome to flying with confidence! 😜
