"Let's Get Lost" is my favorite biopic of a musician, and this song appears early in the film, which you can now find on youtube. The soundtrack is also on youtube.
Fun fact: Zingaro comes from Italian and is translated as "Gipsy" in English. Fun Fact 2: As an Italian I can assure you 20% if not less of the italians know Chet spent half his life here in Italy. Which is so sad because this is sooo inspiring!
As a matter of fact this a brasilian song composed by Chico Buarque de Holanda And Francis Hime. It´s original name is Retrato em Branco e Preto or Portrait in Black and White. I do not know how onearth it became Zingato and then Misty
I thing Chet is playing the piano here, there is no piano when he plays the trumpet, and there is a video somewhere on youtube where he does exactly that on this song.
That intro is phenomenal. It just draws you in and seems to capture the longing of every broken heart. Chet Baker could do this like nobody else.

For me the last minute with Chet playing the piano captures what you said, a broken heart

Zingaro does not sound that far from Tzigane which is the name for Roma in other parts of Europe.
The one and only Chet Baker.

I believe Nicola Stilo is playing the guitar on this track
he's accredited for playing both flute & guitar as far as I can remember
Yes, Nicola Stilo, a wonderful musician. He's even Great on flute and piano. The dutch bassplayer is heavenly groovy and tasteful!
I comprehend Nicola can play both instruments, but at once?
@@cielounarastrologia5778 it’s a studio edit of course. If you pay attention you can also listen Chet playing and singing simultaneously.
Cheers
only Chet
No se como desarrolle el gusto por el jazz pero no me arrepiento
