I'd love that piano one...its so beautiful and I just....its stunning!! Oh how I'd love to play it every morning. People were lucky to have those to entertain themselves. Nowadays we don't see them often. I hope to have something close to those beautiful boxes someday.

I have a collection of music boxes...a beautiful Regina...plays 151/2" discs, a Thorens disc box, as well as group of cylinder boxes. The mini piano is a cutie...I also collect mini pianos, a couple are radios in wooden grand piano cases...detailed miniatures right down to the 88 keys, pedal lyre!

Je collectionne quelques boîtes à musique, mais de conception très simple et sans valeurs et je souhaiterais posséder des boîtes à musique et automates un peu plus élaborés, mais malheureusement ce n'est pas possible parceque dans mon pays on ne les trouve pas ou rarement. Comme j'aurais souhaité vivre en suisse, parceque c'est le paradis des automates et système à musique mécanique très élaborés. L'apprentissage de la réparation et la conception de ces systèmes ont toujours été mon souhait.

Does anybody know the tune from the first music box? My mother has one and I can't figure out the tune- and this is the first music box I've found that has played the song. Thank you!
