Another revisit from a previous remix. Tried to metalize this song, worked OKAY I guess, but it shines better with cute synths and such, IMO. Mixing was a bitch, haha. Anyways, I tried! Hope you guys like it, comment and subscribe (:

Engl e530 tube preamp (into)
Guitar Rig Mobile audio interface (into)
Computer with Intel i5 processing and 4 Gb RAM (into)
Cubase 5 with various cabinet impulses on the effects channel for the audio tracks.

I think it came out great man! I can relate to what you said about metalizing it. I had the same problem with my sonic the hedgehog medley I just recently put up, and lets say I wasnt completely thrilled with the way my Green Hill Zone interpretation came out, but it works lol. Anyway, I think yours came out awesome! Keep it up. \m/

TheOnlyDeerAlive Hey dude, thanks! I somewhat miss making covers but my life has changed in such a way that I don't find the time to do any. Maybe that will change sometime.
iSometimesWriteMusic I got you, life and work comes first. That'd be tight if you started up again. I've always liked how you changed the tuning, the rhythm...etc and made your covers original. Most covers now all sound the same.
@AmbientOfMind Yeah I agree, I stated in the description here as well that I honestly think the song works much better with cute synths rather than raging guitars. I just figured it would be a fun project to cover anyways, see how it would turn out (: I love "You're not here", would be really cool with a singer for a cover of it though, but it I could replace the lyrics with a melody guitar as well. Maybe!

@IsaacJ0901 Haha, well, thank you. I guess I just feel frustrated with mixing sometimes, usually my final mix is mixed down out of frustration that I don't really achieve what I want. So I guess that finds it's way into my video description when I upload it. Now a little bit afterwards it sounds better than it did while I was mixing it! Mixing is complicated, ear fatigue can make it a very tricky process. Anyway, thanks again.

@iSometimesWriteMusic Yeah! That's what i was thinking too! It works pretty well in Guilty Gear songs, for example, where there is a main "vocal" guitar that drives the melody, it would be interesting to see you do that with "You're Not Here", i bet it would sound really cool.

@BrianM8685 It doesn't get cleaned since yeah, it would be a pain in the butt to say the least. Not only because of the notches but the the body is coated with something that feels like a soft sand paper almost. Cleaning rugs and such don't really work well with it ;P
Good song, but it lost some of the magic this time through it's conversion to guitar. Oh well...
You're Silent Hill 2 theme cover was incredible! Any chance you'll do any more of Akira Yamaoka's stuff? "You're not here" is one of my favorite songs from silent hill 3...

@gearykid Yeah it's the intonation, even if I tune it it will be off at certain frets. Gotta change those strings and once again fix the intonation.. booooring. Oh well, thank you!
@Catguy19 Thanks bro. Uhm, so what are the best Sonic songs? I am not particularly acquainted with the series music as a whole. I've already done Chemical Plant Zone, which in retrospect was a pretty mediocre cover... but yeah, I won't bother revisiting that for a long time ;P
