As my high school art teacher would always say, "Always add the dark into the light" her example was making fry sauce with mayo and ketchup. How much product do you want to use to get the desired end result.

As someone who knows epoxy the base coat is thick but the top coat would be ultra thin due to alcohol evaporation. What I am getting at is it would be very easy to scratch out the coloring on the top coat without a thicker top coat. The great thing about epoxy is that it can be easily repaired by just buffing out the top coat with a buffer just like you would a car without fear of burning epoxy unlike automotive paint clear coats. IMHO this would be great for wall art but terrible for countertops.

I just ordered that stone coat diamond dust and it’s my new obsession- I make custom wood flags and using that over all the white strips on a blue/red lime flag now and it’s amazing

*pool table dining top* would LOVE to see a diy video.
One of these days I'm going to figure out how to use shower wall technique to make a 8ft pool table dining top that is light enough to take on and off.
