Hi Lexi! Thanks for featuring all 12 shades! My favorite shade on you (on my screen) is the Sheer Cherry - it brightens your entire face. But the Rosewood (?) shade you are wearing for the video is a perfect every day shade. Indeed, there are obvious similarities with the Chantecaille lippies. I am impressed that the shades did not oxidize, nor fade, nor dry down to matte, on your arm. As always, you provided arm swatches, lip swatches and multiple comparisons, to help us-subscribers determine whether to buy and if so, which shades to choose. Thanks to your comparisons, I am going to buy some of the VB posh lippies (I prefer matte). Thanks again!

Agree. Lexi always does such a great job. I really only ever need to check other channels’ reviews because my skin is quite a bit darker than Lexi’s and the swatches always come out darker on her than they would for me. If not for that, she’s got it all covered!!

Excellent video! I really do love Sisley products overall. I’d heard that Sisley was reformulating their lipsticks and wonder if these sheer lip colors are what was meant. Fortunately, I also love the Chantecaille lip chic and lip veil as well, so I have many colors covered. Haven’t been able to resist three of the new Sisley colors, no matter how well covered! I’m happy that Beautylish has them because they’ll be here much more quickly. Thank you so much for a great comparison and the introduction to all these pretty, pretty colors.

11 months down the line and here I am, studying your Sisley Phyto-Rouge shine lipsticks! There was a 15% off Sisley offer tonight so I had to go for it. I've gone for Sheer Petal - I understand this is a cooler tone shade which has some shimmer. My first Phyto Rouge Shine so I'm looking forward to this. I'm favouring more natural balmy shiny formulas atm so hoping this ticks the box. My huge thanks to you Lexi that you had all the shades - it made the choice so much easier and very much fits in with your original idea - to profile all shade swatches - thank you so much!

What an informative video! I was just complaining today on someone else’s video that I’m an outlier and prefer luxury satin lipsticks and am sick of all the sheerness from all the brands 😂 But your swatches look so accurate and when you said they feel like they have the Sisley lip balm in them, you had me sold. Best lip balm ever. So I bought one since it’s winter time 😂 I have to say…during your lipstick arm swatching videos I fret when you put your lipstick covered arm down out of sight while talking and worry about lipstick smearing all over your clothes or table. But then you raise your arm back up and nothing is smeared. Awesome 😂 I don’t know how you do that 😂
I have to say that I actually smeared these after filming! Lol. I was cleaning up and forgot about them for a second when I accepted a phone call. Apparently that was too much of a distraction for me and I smeared them all over my jeans but thankfully they washed out. If you like the luxury satin lipsticks - the new Guerlain legendary reds in satin are stunning!! I love that whole collection!
The packaging is so beautiful!!! However, after trying the new Chanel balms, I just want more of those. Especially right now, masks are still required so I am on a low buy for anything lip related. Great video as always.

Thank you! I have Tom Ford Pretty Baby on my eyes and all the details are in the description box. It's hard to rank them. I can tell you that I wear the first nude shade all the time so that is definitely my number one. I think I gravitate to the lighter shades such as raspberry, blossom, petal, but also flamingo and rosewood. Honestly, I love them all so it is tough to decide but sheer nude is my favorite.

@@NiceAngel91 that is a tough decision. I think the twist might be easier for summer since the shine is so soft, it will probably get melty if you take it out

I love watching your videos. You purchase all the colours whether you like it or not for us to see. I love this feature of your videos. You do not just purchase for your personal use but you show us what is a available and then we can decide on shades. Thank you for that intense swatching. How do the Chanel baumes compare if they even do? Thank you again. Sisley looks like a winner for me when you did the swatching. Their colour choices were a lot bolder than Chantecaille in some instances.
Thank you so much Hilda! I agree that the Sisley color choices are great and more varied than some of the Chantecaille that I have. As for the Chanel baumes, they are not as thick or glossy as these. They are more lip balm based imo. They are both great formulas but these are definitely closer to a lipstick topped with a gloss than the Chanel which is more of a more pigmented lip balm / light lipstick.

Hi Lexi, I just wanted to mention that I recently purchased Chantecaille Lip Chics and ran across a few (just a few) that had small flakes of shimmer in them. The one that comes to mind, which I purchased and I love, is Bourbon Rose in the permanent collection. You should definitely check out Bourbon Rose. I am fair skin/neutral to cool (Soft Summer) and I think Bourbon Rose will be my "go to" summer lip!!

These remind me of Cle de Peau's Lip Luminizer! The feel and colors, etc. I bought Sheer Cherry and while it seemed really pigmented, it faded quickly. They are very moisturizing though!

These were out of stock for a while on Selfridges but I checked in yesterday and they were in stock☺️ so I ordered the Cocoa and the coral because I tend to llike beige shades-I was really torn because I really wanted that nude shade too but I didn’t wanna spend any more money does the Coco or the coral have those little sparkles in them?
The coral has some sparkle but not as much as the nude. The cocoa is very minimal with sparkle. It isn’t really noticeable.
Hi, I am a long time fan of Chantecaille lip chics but after watching your video am thinking of trying one of these for spring because of the similarities in formula and lovely shades. I’m looking for a soft yet face brightening pink. Also considering Dior addict glow balm formula. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!
I personally prefer the Sisley and Chantecaille over the Dior lip glows. I feel like the Dior has a waxier texture and for me most of the shades end up looking the same on me. I think you might like sheer raspberry from Sisley.

The coral has some sparkle but not as much. The cocoa is very minimal.

I think Chantecaille makes great lip products, but I dislike "special editions" especially when they don't produce enough or they advertise a new collection (as in the Giraffe collection-Willow Lip Chic specifically)and then it isn't available. I get tired of searching for the shades that I wish to buy. I do think I will give Sisley lip colors a try. Someone needs to come out with refillable case that is of premium quality with refills available similar to House of Sillage & include a mirror😜
Yes! There should be mirrors! That is one of the reasons I love the Guerlain Rouge G cases.
