That's an insane day of training. He does my weekly workout routine in a single day
He does my monthly workout in one day holy shit!!!
@@RAB-om9jy 5 i think you should train more xd
@@kikolification depends on how new he is. When you're just starting out, 1 climbing session per week is totally acceptable. Especially if you don't have a strong fitness base to begin with.
Spiffo you’re right ;)
He does infinitely more than me in one day...I don’t rock climb
Ondra's house has more hold variety than my local gym
I think the last scene was at brno his gym not his house. he lives out of his bus
That home climbing gym is the same gym that the one showed in change ??? If it is...woah
and several thousand euros worth of holds :D
@@Macks_Mustermann 6:35 it says home climbing gym. I think you might have confused where the home gym is with the brno gym?
@@Macks_Mustermann I think you are confusing Adam with Alex :D
Dude climbs more than he walks
You can tell from the size of his legs :)
@@Jefferson-ly5qe 1. He has much more ripped legs than you
2. He has to have light legs for his centre of Gravity not being too liw
@@max_4209 Much more ripped legs than he will ever have lol
Nope, that is incorrect 💀💀
@@max_4209zip it up when you’re finished
imagine entering a climbing gym and being able to do virtually every climb
sounds pretty boring to me tbh
My dream
@@AdurxIsd yeah, it gets boring after you do it so many times
@@AdurxIsd well they reset
@@AdurxIsd At some point most commercial gyms don't set hard enough, but that just means you train in the gym and go send some hard boulders outside and or enter some comps. There's also system boards, spray walls, making your own routes. Climbing is never boring!
After i saw this video , i realized how much you excerise to be a top climber in the world. Respect ondra !👍
You know that you are a pro climber, when you chalk up, when using the pc :)
Top right corner clock adds a cool dimension to the narrative. Cool idea!
Amazing!! You can definetely see his passion and dedication.
But be careful guys! You are seeing the training of the world's best climber, who climbs and train in high level for many, many years, with proper coaching, nutrition, rest, etc etc. Do NOT think that you need to a super high volume of max intensity training to get better at climbing, particularly if you are climbing around 5.12 or below. The key is conistency and NOT GETTING INJURIED! Which is very easy to happen if you don't follow proper trainning practices for you level.
I'm already injuried
Must be the power of oats
Those goji berries and cocoa powder or whatever that was.. gotta try that
If you want to be the best in the world. This is the dedication you need. Incredible work ethic and passion. Fair play to you Adam! Wish you all the best!
Anyone else get anxiety seeing him typing on his laptop with chalky fingers?
Great video btw
This guy trains more in one day than i train in a whole month.
Thank you Adam for sharing all these moments with us. With every video you make you inspire lots of people. Hard work is always rewarded. A big greeting here from Spain, keep going on!!!
For Adam, I click the like button and _then_ watch the video.
Wow that was original
@@mattleonard6568 Thanks!
Really nice work man.
I love the way u live, the way you train and the way u climb.
You are my motivation and you are the greatest of all time.
Love you man.
Keep it up 💪🏼❤️
This video is an explanation for your stunning performance in Meiringen... good job, Adam!!
That...and the recent crack climbing ;)
5h30 of climbing per day is honourable !
This is what real dedication looks like, good to see that it pays off! Congrats on your worldcup win on Saturday!
This is incredible. Hard work + time = best athlete in world
Pięknie Adam pięknie, normalnie tym co robisz i jak to robisz budzisz w ludziach wiarę że można wiele. Dziękuję 🙏🏻
living legend. He's one of the best in the world.
4:51 HOLY MOLY!!!!The back on Adam is AMAZING ! I have a knowledge a background on Bodybuilding and the back on Adam is unbelievable for muscle development ,for quality ,details, definition, muscle separation ! Remember me the some crazy effect when many time ago when im was a child i had seen for first time Bruce Lee !!!!
Hi adam! I'll be heading to Tokyo to watch the Olympics next year and really hope to see you compete! Good luck with your training!
がんばって!
Ganbatte!
'Give it all!'
Dana Bauco lucky 😻
Sucks for you mate
Dang this didn’t age well... Hope you can go if it all opens up again!!!!
Full day of eating would be nice
lol
He only eats a variety of stones and granite
You probably got all of that in that video. Two small bowls of air and bam! Proclimbers day of eating
@@thereasonabletroll68 There's no way he eats less than 4000 calories per day, is there?
These workouts burn a lot of energy.
@@m.g.3913 Elite climbers like him are suppper conscious of their weight, Magnus mitboe mentioned that when he was at his peak competition form he was only one or two small meals a day.
I love this video, it's great to be able to see just how hard the world's top climber works on a daily basis. I wish we could see every detail though, I want to know his warm-up stretches, his rep/set ratio on the campus board, and his injury prevention techniques. I climb about 2 hours a day, 3 days a week, and I frequently have elbow and finger pain. If I tried to climb for 6-8 hours like he does my arms would literally fall apart. How he does this without hurting himself is what I want to know!
Hes been climbing for a long time. More than 10 years. His tendons are very used to it.
The scene when he climbs at his house for getting pumped is so sick! Great edit, keep it up guys
I remember a video of Adam on a Czech team climbing trip when he was a teenager and he was doing volume up and down climbing routes the rest of the team could barely do. They were so uncomfortable with it that they were almost making jokes about how 'keen' he was in the evenings. Interesting to see that Adam has always been able to sustain extremely high training volume where the typical climber might need much more recovery.
I baffled at the incredible strenght displayed. Especially shoulder and back strenght. This is unreal.
4:42 Adam Ondra: It's a hard one!
4:51 Also Adam Ondra: *flashes it*
Arià Panadès not necessarily tho;) it is definitely cut and the two guys climbing to his left switched their route so we don’t know
Okay this shit goes straight ot my favourites and I'm gonna play it every time I "don't feel like going to the gym"
When someone asks the question "How does he do it?" The Answer is: "A little bit of pain and fighting of the fatique, almost feeling like you wanna vomit... that's it, and that's something I actually enjoy."
Best motivational video of all time?
Anyone who trains anything knows that. It's pretty damn obvious.
@@EmilM-pb2hn load of crap, a massive percentage of people never train to the point of feeling like they are going to vomit.
I don't even climb but you give me inspiration to push harder my man! Pure legend! Keep going
Makes pumped to do what I'm really passionate about. It's more of an inspirational quotes and motivational video. Loved every second of it.
The last scene with your home gym is amazing.
You are simply amazing! I started watching videos from climbing and got really motivated to start climbing again you are really inspiring! Keep it up!
Love is the power for everything ... Ondra got it 🤙🏼💪🏼
"It's a hard one"
Adam: hold my t-shirt.
eating a donut is as hard as bouldering when you're watching this video
God I love your style of climbing man. Keep up the great work. You never disappoint us when it comes to your climbing.
Adam, you are so inspiring!
I can't be the only woman who blushes every time he takes his shirt off. GOD DAAAANG.
Congrats on the win!
That's a great quote near the end: ""Some people say when you are tired the training is just starting, and that's when you have to try hard. There are definitely at least certain reasons why you should train rested, but I think if you just want to gain some endurance, a little bit of pain and fighting of the fatigue... almost feeling like you want to vomit... it's something you have to suffer... and that's something I actually enjoy."
LOVED this one. Vlog style, a ton of climbing, day in the life of Adam, and it was a good length. Keep the videos coming 👍🏻
I'm soo happy to see how you love climbing and all your day is all about it. Love it!
Very impressive indeed. What he does in a day would be a quality and hard week for me. Wish I could train more but I am just a human.
It must be so nice to live this kind of life. Doing what you love and your "work" involves what you love to do.
Jeez no wonder he is so strong he trains super hard 💪🏻
7:18 different time on the clock down right ^^
7:36 this right here is why Adam is the goat
Congrats on the win in Meiringen awesome to see the hard work amd dedication paying off! Huge inspiration 🤙🏽
This is goals for me. I wish I could train myself like this wow.💪
Well, you are the best at what you do in the world right know.
I‘m wondering how this guy is able to climb five hours and more in one day without bleeding hands. I often try to add more training sessions over the week, but it‘s always a lack of strong skin on my hands that stops me from doing so.
The question is: what is your secret about your hands?
Peace☮️
I wonder the same thing- I have tried many products and supplements. I think skin toughness can be built to a certain degree and beyond that genetic skin thickness?
You have to climb real rock consistently. And sometimes you bleed and get blisters. But its all part of the game. When you've been doing it since childhood you can recover faster.
When I first started climbing I would go to the gym maybe once a week, since the closest one was over an hour away. But the first 5 to 6 times I went I would get skin tears and blisters every time and each time I would climb for about 4-5 hours and just tape up when I’d get one. But I’ve been getting less and less and now can climb for quite a few hours and rarely get as many blisters or tears. And my fingers aren’t nearly as calloused as someone who climbs a lot. So just more climbing makes them tougher
you are my hero Adam
The GOAT!!!
lol was it Adam who picked that climb higher music we all hated? Its ok I still love you. And the music choice here was much better.
weird thing is Adam Ondre was in my dream last night. It was a crazy dream, wondered round so many strange places. At one point was in this cave, and I looked up an there were stars in the roof of the cave. I was trying to get somewhere and worrying about being late... so didn't stop to chat, but there was Adam Ondre sat on the floor with a big smile on his face solving some sort of puzzle, (with what looked like corn on the cob shaped objects).
This dude is a stud! Beast mode 24:7/365!!!
This is a true man
Great Episode Adam! really enjoyed the large amount of climbing and training. Very inspiring!
How often do you train like this, with so many sessions in one day?
At least 6 days a week
@@rochoddo5380 I don't think that he trains constantly like that. Everybody needs rest to get stronger, even Adam.
@@Lucatheclimber On the training beta podcast he says he trains 6 days a week, while he's in a "training phase"
@@TheScreamingSeal Yes but i don't think that he does this much 6 days in a row.
Michael Phelps used to do the same. Train 6 days a week, while other swimmer did 5. In the end that is why he quit cause you can only do this for so long.
This is insane. I can't believe he's able to climb so much without his arms getting tired.
His arms get very tired :)
I'm old school and am not sure if training half as hard and skipping a day or two in-between would produce better results? I am amateur so sorry, but I guess it depends on whether or not one's super human like Adam. Very impressed and thank you for your videos
A very cool training day for the champion
4:10 I saw you try to pull that push door
8:43 'I get to climb a lot! And ... pft ... I really like climbing!' 😂😂😂 so good!
I find this video really motivating: I have a pizza competition later an I need to be super hungry.
You are amazing👍✌
And here I am...watching this while getting tired after eating too much. ;)
AO nejvic typek !
Crazy he can last a whole day climbing like this... what a legend!
How do you maintain your skin in good condition after all this training?
The more you wear your skin out the more durable it will become. Just climb more and you shouldn't have any problems
@@jeffersin7092 I would say it's a bit more complicated than that, in general. There must be a point where even Ondra gets worn-out fingers.
@@joshualara4612 Take a look at his toes at the end! Makes you feel a little better about the whole thing lol
@@joshualara4612 yes, there is more to it. Chalk really dries out your skin thats why it is important to moisturize it on a regular basis . Most hand cremes do an excellent job at doing that you dont need the fancy expensive "climbing" cremes. You should avoid applying too much of it or doing it too often tho because it can also prevent calluses from forming and thats not what you want. You have to figure out what works for you how often you should moisturize your hands and what creme works best for you. Hope that helps.
Like all climbers, he is using antihydral or other stuff like this.
The breakfast looks like Pedigree Pal. What a great way to start a day !
Music is, for me, too loud and anyway too much. Would love to hear more from you while climbing!Best regards
So inspire
Such a wicked room for your house dude! Good luck with the rest of your training!
omg! so much training. no wonder he's the best.
Respect
What a beast
Training day of a superhero! 😎😎😎
Amazing recovery capacity!
That physique speaks for itself.
Hey Adam nice Trainingday! it motivates me to go to the Kesslerloch (Switzerland) this Evening! Every time i go there and see Eau Profond i think about your ascent! Keep up the good work!
One thing I am still curious about after watching this video -- What is Ondra's diet actually like? That bowl of oatmeal and salad can't possibly be all he eats for breakfast and lunch.
Mostly, if not completely plant based diet :)
Well that salad was couscous so pretty high in calories but I'm pretty sure he had to have something to eat at home
Big congratulations for your performance at Meiringen. Good luck with your training/comps this year.
A good training routine really suits him good mix there putting the hours in.
Adam ,can you show us your warm up routine including every single exercise before training so you can start climbing and using the campus board without getting injured? It is a very hard problem especially that you mostly climb and practice this sport by your own.
WOW. Beast.
I find it really cool how all these world class climbers (and I’m assuming athletes in general) just have this switch they can turn on and just fucking GO. You can see Adam flips that switch at 8:10 it’s really cool
I am french and i love you
You are best
Really cool dude!!! Keep up the great work!!! God Bless You Guy's, and Your Family's, and Your Friend's, and Your Channel's!!!
super impressive, i cant believe you did 4 sessions in one day!!
Yes!!! Suffer to send!!!
awesome training day!! this would absolutely destroy me! be good fun to try it though!! :D well done adam, show's why you are without a doubt the best climber of all time!!
After a long day of climbing, I’m finally home.
Proceeds to climb.
Great video as always :) I would like to see a video with some more explanation of certain techniques used to climb a certain route, I think that would be very interested and educational to watch. Aldo what are the difficulties Adam stills needs to overcome or that he is working on.
"some people say when your tired, the training is just getting started" wow
Really cool Video!
Awesome!! 💪🧗♀️
imagine going in for a boulder session and just seeing Adam Ondra flying up the wall next to you screaming all the way
