- Nicky Wire and James Dean Bradfield from Manic Street Preachers talk to Nihal Arthanayake about their 13th studio album 'Resistance is Futile', their most political song and the world of guitar music now.
Best British band of the last 30 years, productivity and output is just astounding .There’s very little filler, they are making the tracks of our years
This made my evening after a terrible day. But, well, manics always do magic, especially when Nicky shows his beautiful eyes for at least for moment хэ Thanks for the upload, interviewing itself was great, love from Russia 💓
Who is the interviewer here? I've watched every Manics interview that they've ever done and he is the best interviewer I've ever seen. 100% knows his stuff, let's them speak at the right time, and probes intelligently at the right time to get more out of them. Well done that man.
Nihal Arthanayake

Nihal Arthanayake a DJ in his own right and has worked for the BBC for years. He's got to be 50 ish now. He worked for BBC Radio Asian Network, Radio One and currently is on the Afternoon slot on Radio Five Live. He's awesome, a great interviewer and quality Journalist and as I said earlier a DJ in his own right
Good band, Nicky putting his sunglasses on again ! :) Only rock stars can get away with wearing them indoors. Hello world ! Greetings from here in Manchester. Im Justin. Hi :)
That was a great interview
Think they are one of the last bands to represent the working classes just doesn’t seem to be written about these days
That camera angle is odd
Well that wasn’t long enough!
Heroes
He's right, lyrics are harder*
*if you care
james’s head is round lol
I'm glad the Manics don't shout down brexit and donald trump like most lefty bands who are not even political bands. I'm a UKIP supporter and a leaver and respect the Manics.
