These guys are just amazing. They went through the a harrowing time of dealing with their friend going missing. They got back up and dusted themselves off and carried on but in a way that it doesn't dwell or disrespect Richey's memory or work. They have never glorified nor shunned his vanishing, yet are still here today writing fantastic music and are successful in their own right. Absolute legends, love them x x
'she's suffering' is a great song, a fab dark story that you need to get, when I heard it on the radio, many year ago, it gave me shivers. What a song I thought.
As an American, I can tell you that the Manics are my favorite band of all time. We are not all flag-waving followers of the corporate oligarchy. The manics are amazing on every level. To me they are fearless and iconoclastic. Since most of the American public are interested in 'entertainment' as opposed to 'Art', it's easy to see why a band of this high caliber would not catch on. In America, the masses are not interested in truth and sublimity. Most seek safety in perpetual delusion.
This is the most honest interview I have seen of Manics. But WHAT is all that stuff just before'She is Suffering? NW' Haven't delved into a box for a while' JDB 'Touche' and then something about the title also being 'touche'.Hmm.I have my own ideas, but will keep them to myself!
I think it's not touche (the second time), it's can I choose another one. Wonder if the delving into a box comment was a reference to him and Richey sharing a bed?
I'm hardened up but this, situation with my relationship has no caught up in all sorts of emotions..anger being known and I'm angry now. Thanks to MSP for the afew good men ideology and James Being utterly talented aswel asfcxxinv gorgeous!☆☆☆☆
I am afraid that you very well characterized not only most of American public, but most of people generally. Anyway, I agree that common Americans are known worldwide to proudly present their simplicity regarding complex matters... ;-)
17:59 "westside " .....or is it east ? Dunno . nicky still muff divin as the interview progress ...slow down mr jones - or y'll get fat ...or indigestion ...or even heartburn -scoffin like that .

He might have been a satanic sacrifice to the music industry

Absolutely, such a hauntingly beautiful song.
Great guys with great values and ideals that go all the way back to their youth. Love the Manics to death.

I think it's just a silly double entendre, and James says slightly the wrong thing.

Too left for America
Probably true..but not in the way you meant it
@@ludaheracles7201 could you explain?
America is Left, but without cohesive, coherent class consciousness and with a deafeningly loud, rabid right wing whack job minority
bizarre choice for a restaurant.
