Is your iPhones ear speaker quiet or muffled and you can barely hear people on calls? In this video I will show you this neat little hack for cleaning iPhone ear speakers.
We identified the 165hz tone as the most suitable sound to thoroughly clean iPhone top speaker. when combined with a little isopropyl alcohol this is an effective trick to really get all the gunk out of the little mesh at the top of the phone.
I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I do making them. Thank you for watching!

This worked for me on an iPhone11. Assumed it needed a new ear speaker module at first. But tried this. I used nail varnish remover, as didn’t have any alcohol. Not sure if this is a good idea or not but I was desperate and it’s been fine.
Could hear it get louder when I put a few drops on, with the tone playing. Got louder again after a few scrubs with the brush. Took a few goes to get all the embedded crud out. All good now. Thanks.

En mi caso, he utilizado alcohol de 96 grados sin saber muy bien la diferencia con el isopropilico que se utiliza en electrónica (mejor usar el ispropilico). Thank you very much! My iPhone X had some dense liquid poured on the ear speaker and it was almost completetly muffled. I followed the video and it worked! It’s been sooooo satisfying!!! Thanks!

Even after a factory reset, my cousin's iPhone 11 ear speaker refused to work. I found your video on UA-cam within a few minutes of searching. To my surprise this simple method fixed the problem. Amazing 👏

Brilliant. Cost me £7 for a massive bottle of rubbing alcohol from Boots, but it’s completely fixed the issue. I couldn’t hear people on the phone so shelled out for AirPods Pro, but had I found this sooner, it would have saved me ££s - iPhone 12 Pro now fixed and ready to pass to my daughter

Mate, brilliant vid. My XR was driving me nuts with the low earpiece volume. Just got some isopropyl of Amazon and carried out this procedure. 100% improvement. Thanks.

Thank you for this tutorial! That's exactly what I needed to do for my iPhone 13 Pro earpiece. Used a q tip lightly soaked in alcohol to scrub the screen clean while the sound was playing. Thumbs up!

You sir, are a life saver (or phone saver anyhow) .. I could barely hear phone calls and was looking for solutions like this. I didnt have any isopropyl handy but I substituted with Methylated spirits due to its similar cleaning properties and rapid evaporation and it worked like a charm.

Holy shit thank you so so much!! I accidentally got some ice cream on my phone and it melted unto my speakers. The audio started sounding crackly and I was so close to buying a new phone. This video solved my issue and I won’t need to buy a whole new phone. you just saved me hundreds of dollars!!!
