I just wanted to thank you real quick, you made me discover mimic logic, and I have fallen in love with the game as someone who enjoys a logic good puzzle.
It's a great game! You'll want to pay close attention this month, there's about to be a handful of great games dropping.
Tyler has made me spend more on games than anyone else. I think I lasted like 30 seconds when he showed chessformer and I don't even like chess

@@Aliensrock "submachine" series doesnt have gore as far as i remember. Maybe a little blood here and there, but not like full on dying people like in rusty lake. İts a pretty safe game for yt. And i would LOVE to watch you play "submachine" series! Love your videos btw❤

@@Aliensrock I second the Submachine series! And I can confirm that it has no gore or violence in it.
@@Aliensrock submachine legacy doesn't have gore apart form a few screens, that have some slite red sprinkles that indicate blood, but nothing graphic at all.

That reqlly sucks bc I wanted to see what you think about later games in the series, but UA-cam apparently doesn't understand that the line "there will be blood" is literally in the first episode.

It seems much less up my alley than Oxygen Not Included. I'm not a fan of open world survival craft

Seriously though, the later entries definitely get... more demonitizable. But they do get more interesting and i really enjoy the later entries.
Yeah it's super unfortunate that Rusty Lake is getting removed from UA-cam, but I'm glad you're still willing to continue on patreon.
Also thank you for finally giving me the push to become a patron lol, I used to be a fan of the series and Paradox (the finale of Cube Escape) is still one of my favorite puzzle games... Well, ever.

@@Aliensrock don't think about it like you selling out, it's an alternative way for people to support you, but moreso it's a way to try and find other fans/puzzle gamers out in the wild. I love having merch for more niche creators because anyone else who is also a fan is so delighted to find someone else
An updated version of your current end card in poster, displate or sticker format would be a fun product. If there's commission for the artist, it might help them too, as well as motivate to update it.

I wouldve wanted you to try "the past within". I dont remember it having that much gore, just a little at the middle. Well you can play it if you complete the hard achievement of "getting a friend" because its a 2 player puzzle game and its really interesting, having to hear "a friend's" description and they having to hear yours to get farther

Hey Tyler, just curious if you have a members section on UA-cam? If not, why not and would that be another alternative? I personally just don't find it worth the time to go set up a patreon and get used to the UI of another platform....I just watch your videos on lunch breaks or when I'm bored for a little entertainment and they help get me through the day. But I might be a minority there, just putting some input in!
I go back and forth on it, and I probably should for this series, but I'm overall more cool with Patreon the company getting a cut of the subscription than UA-cam.
@Aliensrock I never thought about the companies getting their cut. Will definitely consider who I want getting my money when supporting creators now that you mention it!
@@python2400something else to consider, when you go to the patreon app, or website for tylers channel, there is nothing on the page other than tylers uploaded posts. No ads, no suggestions from other creators, and when you click a video, you can still click a "Watch on UA-cam" button in the bottom left, and the player moves you to UA-cam instead of keeping you on "something you're unfamiliar with" : )

Theres another puzzel game exactly like rusty lake but with signifficantly less gore and no blood. Its the Forgotten Hill series and I highly recommend checking it out!

Probably no chance but would you ever do UA-cam memberships and upload these as member-only videos as well? I find it too hard to watch and keep track of what videos I’ve watched outside of the UA-cam app, so I’ve ditched Patreon entirely at this point :(
I’m in for a $5/month UA-cam channel membership if you ever do that though.

Edit: I was wrong, it's about 80-90 cents in this case
For me, it's about 80 cents to the dollar, unless you pay for a year's sub in bulk, then it's closer to 90 cents

Its crazy - a sub 30s clip I posted got age restricted... that was like 7 years old. And it wasn't anything to get restricted for - I submitted a review and it was overturned. Their AI shit is crazy some time.
Unfortunate but understandable, from your perspective anyway, seems crazy on youtube's part, none of it is especially realistic, even by videogame standards...
It would be nice if we could get a notification here when a patreon series is completed so we can go and sub for one month and binge a series, for those of us that can't justify the ongoing cost.
I was subbed for the Infinifactory videos whilst you were taking your break, and was sad to see that end, but also you should do what is most fun for you and if you felt you were done, that's totally up to you

Yeah. Unfortunately, Rusy Lake is very intense and tells the story it wants to tell however it needs. And yes, it also is VERY GOOD.

I'm not happy about it, but this is the right decision.
Without the video making money, he can't afford to pay the editor. Without the edits, the video is way less interesting. Less interesting means less views. Less views can impact the whole channel.
Plenty of far more gory videos on other channels don't get demonitized... But I am somehow not surprised at all.

Thats a pretty fair response I feel. It doesn't really matter what you or I think about the content, it's down to what youtube are scared advertisers will pull out over.
I'd suggest taking anything but the first video down maybe with an explanation on the end, at the end of the day your channel is just a series of complicated averages to youtube and the episodes you have up are bringing some of those down, it will probably have some knock on impact down the road.
