C5 Corvette - 6 Speed Manual - Canyon Road Spirited Drive (Pure LS1 Sound!)

Finally got my C5 Corvette out on some county back roads for some fun twisty driving! (minus all the times I got stuck behind SUVs and mini vans).
This car just ate up the road so well, but definitely gave me some pointers on things to upgrade to make the car even better! I plan to do more of these videos as I get the car out more and more!

I kept this drive pretty conservative as this was my first time taking this car out on this road, so I definitely wanted to get a feel for the car on this road before I decided to "open it up" a bit more. Next time, if I don't get stuck behind so many cars, I'll let the car rip a little more :)

trust me, i know its fun but 90% of those 3-4 shifts were not required. Number 1 thing i learned in racing school is don't make more inputs to the car than are absolutely required. This includes shifting. If you're holding it at 5k RPM, then hold it there, it won't hurt the car.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m up doing a spirited drive like this! When I was learning to fly RC planes, it was the same advice, the less input to keep the plane flying where you want it, the better!
