I’m guessing that your oil pressure sending unit has taken a crap. The part is cheap to purchase, but you should fix that soon. It’s a common problem on C5’s.
@@swiftripper7557 If you check online, there’s a way to install the sending unit remotely so if it goes bad again, you could replace it in a couple of minutes other than a couple of hours.
i would do anything to experience this rn. just crashed my f30 worked all the way from a pos e90 to a fully built f30 and i lost it. looking at c5 corvettes as my next car. really miss ripping backroads

My c5 also has the HUD but have yet to be on a nice wide open road like this; would have to travel outside Boston a ways to get on a road like this. Was going to ask where you live but just looked up and says Mexico.

Hello..I love the video, I just gotta understand where in the U.S. can you drive this fast???..I'm in Minnesota and I have a gorgeous 6 speed 1997 c5 but no where in the state is allowed to even get close to the speeds you just hit...I just got a 141$ ticket for Driving 49 miles a hour in a 35 zone...where is this video taken??
It's just the weatherstripping. If you replace it, make sure to get quality stuff, and not cheap chinese weather stripping or it will go bad and have poor sealing. Not an issue unless the sound bothers you
Best of luck with it! And yes, the quality of the oem rubber seals on the targa top are terrible so I get a lot of wind noise and occasional water leaks when I wash the car.
It will really depend on the condition of your top but mine doesn’t really leak in the rain. My buddy however has had two tops that leaked consistently when it rained

I’m not really sure, since mine is an 02 I don’t have to go through inspection with the 20 year old rule
Just look for 2001+ and you will be safe, EBCM can be repaired, just not on previous years.

The ABS is crapshoot on 97-2000 model c5s, can’t be repaired and the module is no longer produced. 1,800$ for a new one that could fail in 10 miles
