Love the channel and videos. Haven't been fishing my whole life, only about 10 years and just been doing what I know and haven't been doing well, so this video is much appreciated!
Just curious, and I've never tied the knots you're showing, but is there a reason you wouldn't use a nail knot to join two lines together, instead of the double uni knot? For fly fishing, something I've been studying, but not practicing (yet), the nail knot seems to be the be-all-end-all of knots for that.
@@theu.s.ofangling1344 I have a tool for tying them, just to keep the insanity in check. I won't advertise it here, but I'm sure there are many out there. It's not a simple knot to tie freehand.

I’ve never heard of that one until now! Looks like it’s popular for fly fishing, which I am fairly new to!

Great video! You make fishing look so easy. Was there a weight on your line or was it only the lure?
@@Beh0ldas0n just the lure! No weights, no swivels! Thanks for watching!
