You need to use a fuse tap and attach the grey wire that comes with the included wiring harness to an ignition circuit if you want your DRL's to work right. I have a 2018 and I installed a $4 tap on fuse #10 per the manufacturers instructions. If your gonna make a video guys, do it from top to bottom.
exactly, well said!
Ever do any before and after comparisons on a dark road? How is the light quality and performance? Shine further, better distribution, any weak spots or excessive glare?
I bought led bulbs for my factory halogen headlights. Would i be able to use them with this kit
We haven't tested this and would recommend sticking with the included bulbs.
Can I leave the drls AMBER running instead of white ?
Not 100% sure but.... try forcan
Set the Drl "turn lights only" instead of "parking lights only"
Could a LED bulb be subbed in for the Halogens later?
Absolutely can! -Zach
Halogen? That’s not a $800 light.
Your not buying alight you are buying a light housing. But going Halogen just doesn't make any sense in my opinion.
625 on Amazon instead of 904 on their website. Then get you a couple pairs of h7 LED's and you only got $700 in it total
You know I really wouldnt have minded if they had raised the price 9 dollars and included a fuse tap already connected to the harness... just sayin im sure there are international reason or something but still... my only complaint...
Never cared for projector headlights you just can’t get the quality of light beam spread that the factory reflector headlights put out with the installation of an LED bulb don’t get me wrong they look cool in everything but i’ll put my factory reflector headlights with a high output quality LED bulb up against a projector headlight any day.
You don't want spread unless you want to blind the hell out of everyone.
Just bought these and are absolutely dim. Will be asking for refund. Going to install my factory ones back on. They look great but can’t see a damn thing.
You are not wrong. The catch is you buy this unit so youc can swap out the hologen for H7 LED's that you can find on amazon for $40.00 a pair. Now you have LED's for under $700 instead of $1400. The kicker is that if your LED chips does go out, you can replace it. If you buy the whole Alpharex LED kit thats $1400, the chips are not replaceable. After the two year warrantee, you're out another $1400 unless they will sell you the side that went out. Keep your alpharex pro's and just grab the H7 LED's. That's what most people do.
Exactly what @rdsii64 said ^^. The H7 LED’s will work in these lights and they look great! A million times better than the Halogen bulbs!
@@rdsii64 Do I need to buy the converter add on in order to switch the halogens bulb for some H7 LEDS?
@@mattlehr8883Do I need to buy the converter add on in order to switch the halogens bulb for some H7 LEDS?
@@SM-qu7if That is something I haven't researched yet, so I'm afraid I can't help you there.
