- We are back at it again with my F150! This time we match my tail lights with new MORIMOTO head lights! A HUGE improvement from the Anzo's I previously had!

I don't know why there ended up being 2 minutes of black darkness after the video was done lol.. must be some editing bug or something..🤷♂️(it's being fixed) I'm also aware that the passenger side turn signal is not sequential like the driver side is.. we must have connected a plug wrong which will also be fixed of course ;) Hope you enjoyed the video!

Maybe I'm wrong, but it looked like the left turn signal lit up sequentially when flashing, and the right was just flashed "normally".

Those headlights have two small wires in the back that if plugged together make the light blink normal like the right side. If left unplugged you get the sequential. My guess is Bryan plugged it in for the sake of not leaving anything loose and mike just said fuck it.

My Morimoto headlights will be going in before the weekend, doing exhaust upgrade today. Love watching.
Because of you, I have installed Morimoto LED taillights ( smoked), will be installing my Morimoto XB LED (smoked) , my Morimoto LED fog lights, as well as my Lariat style (colour matched Oxford White ) on 2018 Ford F-150 XLT Sport Super Cab Oxford White, this Monday Feb 10, 2020. So far , I have installed Katzkin leather heated - cooled seats, colour matched mirrors skullcaps, as well replacing my stock black tailgate latch assembly with a colour matched tailgate assembly.
Yes. I have the Morimoto XB Raptor headlights on my 2017 F-150 and they’re stunning. Now sometimes I do wish they were the white ones and not the Raptor but hey I can’t complain, they are still very premium and outstanding headlights

I installed the taillights on my 2018 Ford , love them. It will be a long time for the head lights, due to the price . Love watching your videos.
The turn signal can be sequential or all at once.. It appears the Right side passenger has the connector plugged together that does all orange at the same time.. The driver side has it unplugged so its sequential. I like the sequential better but they need to correct this as its not the same.. I have the 18 version on my truck.

Really nice! I love those Morimoto headlights, they are so otc! They're definitely an improvement over the previous ones, although they were tight as well. These headlights are the sickest I've seen. They look really good on the F150, but they would look really good on any truck. Every truck should have some Morimotos, not just an F150!
Been there done that, actually the same swap as you did but I changed my 2017 front end to a 2018. Had anzo which I loved until they finally shipped out my morimotos in November. Super bright!!!

Hey Mike, now that you have a supercharger on your truck, did you get a catch can installed at VMP? If not, I’d highly recommend putting one in the truck. Purpose is to help prevent sucking oil through the intake valves in the head which can be catastrophic later in life.

Morimoto makes some really high quality stuff! That being said, why not just get it from the source? The retrofit source is the supplier to all places selling Morimoto parts.

Looks good. Looked like the indicator light on the driver's side flashed in a sweeping motion like some of the Audi's do and the other one didn't.

He probably wired something wrong just like he wired his tail lights wrong when he installed those
i hope i am not talking shit but from what i know in us is some regulation or something that doesnt let you have only sequential. you can have it but you are forced to have the normal one. doug demuro talked about this one.
I can tell you need to actually fix the DRL - it should dim when the side markers/headlights come on. Lots of morimoto's from the factory had the wrong harness plugged into the wrong plug. I can send a photo if you are interested of the issue/resolution.
Those new lights are hella bright. Be curious if they are blinding other drivers as you use them. You'll have to let us know. I love the safety that new light provide but man, getting hit full on in the eyes at night can be wicked for a moment or two.
I really like them. I got some blacked out headlights for my f150 and they still have the yellow reflectors in there which I hate. I don't mind them being lit yellow, I just don't want to see them unlit. Those look awesome completely blacked out.

What do you think of the 2020 Raptor having the 7.3 V8? I think it will be great!

Your LED DRLs are supposed to dim when you put the headlights on and they are not dimming. Reach out to whomever you purchased them from and let them know. There is an adapter wire harness to fix this issue. If you need the part numbers for that harness let me know and I'll find it for you. Also, as others have pointed out. The passenger blinker needs to fixed too. It's easy to do. Just unplug the harness that makes it blink and it will become sequential.
Dude those are awesome! I just got the raptor grill for my 2010 f150 XLT 4x4 it's also Tuxedo Black. Unfortunately I have to replace my rear end so that's cutting into my head light tail light upgrade.

How do you make a video about headlights and not show what the out put is like? I’m disappointed in my f150’s headlights. They aren’t as good as my older Silverado’s lights.

They look good but do a video to see how they perform and to see if they are blinding to oncoming traffic. A lot of aftermarket truck headlights seem to do this.

Bro I've been a subscriber to your channel for a long time now but I have to say those headlights are sick af I was a little skeptical at first but the final result paid off definitely gives the truck an amazing look
They look awesome i told you to get thoughs before you put thoughs other headlights in glad you finally seen them and got them great choice...
Just a cautionary note: My 2018 F150 came with OEM LED lighting. If you live in a snowy area, the LED's do not put out any heat. If you are driving while it's snowing, the snow just cakes up on the headlights eventually making them so dim you can hardly see where you are going. I hopped out to see what the problem was and there was about an inch and a half of snow caked solid onto the lights. Some of it was a bit icy. I was concerned the lens might get scratched trying to get it all off. Other than that, I love them!

Love the mods you’ve done but please invest in the gas shock tailgate lowering kit. Probably the cheapest & most practical upgrade for your truck. Oem is $60ish bucks.

I'm so glad to see you finally putting some quality lights on the truck. Honestly I un-followed your channel for a while when you put all that Chinese Anzo junk on your truck. I just couldn't stand to see another truck build where it's nothing but junk Chinese mods. I'm glad to see things have changed!
You should get the mirrors paint matched to the truck or maybe even custom aftermarket ones

Good video. Thanks for posting. My feedback is this; next clip you should explain the various lights for newbies, then explain why in one scene the turn signals roll sequentially to the outside while in another scene the whole row simply blinks on / off.
Also, a better discussion on the DTRL wires would help.

I love those headlights. I have been thinking of swapping my OEM LED's with these. Glad you got rid of the Anzo's. I love your truck, just felt like the head lights were a little cheesy.

The cars are investments too, the truck has already payed for itself and the merc nearly has, the chevy defenently and his wifes raptor a little bit. So that's all profit hes making now and he can sell the cars and make plenty. Not everyone cares about a 4000 sq ft house, especially when you could make money spending it on something else
