Thanks for watching!
Regarding that “baby grand” action - which baby grand action is this exactly - thank you
Hi, David. Thanks for your question. As we mentioned in the video, the N1X features a near perfect replica of the CX-Series baby grands (specifically, the C1X). I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
Hi how did you record this? Was it micd or did you direct ply? Does it have 1/4 outs?
Hello! We recorded the audio directly to USB onboard the piano. It does have 1/4" outs, however. We just didn't need to use them as you can record studio-quality audio directly to the flash drive. Hope that helps!
Can you talk about the differences between Yamahas CSP models? I’d definitely like to know what the 30% jump in price gets you for a 255 over a 150. Same for the 275/170.
The new CSPs just bring CSP features (stream lights, mic port, extra sounds, 16-track sequencing, audio to score, etc.) to higher-end cabinets. As for specific features, the 255 has Yamaha's GrandTouch-S key action (vs the 150's Graded Hammer 3X keyboard). The new key action is much quicker and more responsive. The 255 has the newly upgraded CFX and Bosendorfer piano samples as well as the new binaural samples for both (the CSP-150 has a lower res sample and only has binaural tech with the CFX sound). The 255 has more sounds, more customization settings, more drum rhythms, more built-in learning tools, bigger sound system, etc. It also has USB-C charging built-in. There are alot of upgrades. Hope that helps!
PS - We are currently working on videos for the new CSP-200 pianos.

what is the best yamaha headphones for digital/hybrid piano
Hi, Jay! Thanks for watching. My favorite Yamaha headphones for digital/hybrid pianos are the HPH-150s. They sound GREAT, they fit well and they are really comfortable. Last time I checked, they were about $200, but they are really great headphones. Hope that helps!
when was the n1x first hit the market?
Hi, MallinMall. We're not sure when the first N1X hit the market, but it's the newest hybrid from Yamaha. We'd guess it's been out for about a year now.
I read the it was 2019.
Thank you! It's possible they came out at the end of 2019 and we didn't see one for awhile due to the supply chain shortage.
Will this sensor get sound suddenly loud issue?
Yamaha solved that problem a generation ago.
@@RivertonPianoCompany Good to hear that. What is the common issue will happen on this model? Is the repair cost high?
We haven't seen any common issues. Repairs are covered under warranty.
@@RivertonPianoCompany Thanks.
Glad to help!
How does this compare to the Roland LX9?
That's really not the best comparison as they are in different categories. The N1X is a hybrid piano and the Roland LX-9 is a digital piano. The N1X doesn't have anywhere near the features, it has half the warranty, it requires maintenance, and it costs alot more. On paper, the Roland wins every time. ...but that may be misleading. Most of the N1X's expense is due to its all-wood grand piano action. If you're looking for a baby grand piano, but don't have space for one, the N1X is a great choice. it has the same action, but it uses a digital sound source. The Roland has a great action (with haptic feedback - which the N1X doesn't have), but it's not going to have the same feel. The Roland LX-9 should be compared to the Yamaha CLP-785. The N1X is an entirely different concept. That said, you should play both and see which one you like better.
@@RivertonPianoCompany Thanks for ur quick response
