This movie really hit me. I’m in love with a boy I know I can’t have. We had a brief period of flirting, but it’s gone. It really shows how much love can impact a person, and how heartbreak can silently rip you apart. Being in love is a beautiful blessing and a terrible curse at the same time.

this movie is incredible but look into it and it’s basically ‘they only want you when you’re 17, when you’re 21 you’re no fun’ Oliver used Elio and it’s romanticised so much but he knew what it would do to Elio when he left and he still did it. Elio wasn’t emotionally grown and Oliver played on that.
