    First visited on Anzac day 1987... nobody there ! But me my wife and baby son... things have certainly changed ...

      Hopefully one day, you will learn that culturally, people have different accents when they speak. Do you think that the French can pronounce Australian village names the exact same way that the Australians do? Give the guy a break.

      I understand it's probably annoying, but the average aussie just can't get their mouth around French speech. Which is probably why we've shortened it to Bret, as we do.

      Do the French suddenly adopt an Australian accent when they say an Australian place name? Do they adopt a Scottish accent when they say a place in Scotland? Do they pronounce a town in China in a Chinese accent? No, no and no!! Why do people think French or Spanish places have to be pronounced with that countries accent? You pleb😡
