Such a powerful method! Is there any update to this workflow for Generating Area plans for leasable areas? mainly, separating corridor and service areas to have area boundaries at the external wall location, while adjacent leasable areas share the area lines at the wall center?
Far too hard unfortunately as walls all need to face the right way and clean up at corners. Ive tried it and always failed due to messy modellers. Revit API can ask for wall finish lines so you can initiate them at least but not cleanly
I think it's an amazing project and initiative by Mcneel and Associates. Having Grasshopper in Revit opens many new and exciting opportunities we didn't have before. The fact it is free if you own the base software makes it a no-brainer to learn and use I think.
Powerful ! Thanks for your time.
You're welcome!
